    Metal type material

found a metal type of material in food (general tso chicken/pork fried rice) ordered many times before this has never happen

    beef and peppers in sauce

Hurendus food. I'm pregnant and I eat all around me but this was not manageable. First thing I noticed was the color of the meat was off what was ment to be beef curry it was a tinge of red I went ahead and tried it and I actually had to spit out my first bight which has never happened to me before it was raw. Don't waste you time or money and don't be deceived by the rating and price.

Best Chinese food in the area, I've been ordering from here for years. Love their chicken with broccoli and fried rice. Ribs are great too.

The most decent place for Chinese food. Food is good, not the best, but better than a Chinese food average!

Best Chinese food white plains. I've been coming here since I was a little kid and the food is just as cheap and delicious as back then.

I can't believe I've lived in Westchester so long and never tried O Mandarin! It was so good! The…read morerestaurant itself has a great ambiance, a little dark (in a good way), and probably great at night. The service was excellent, with not only our waiter helping, but food runners and bussers assisting as well. And the food was delicious! The soup dumplings were delicious- I think I could just eat a big serving of those. My seafood hotpot was full of wonderful shrimp, scallops and much more, all very tasty. They said it would be "spicy", but it really wasn't very, so if you don't like extremely spicy food, you'll be ok (But maybe ask them for it to be a little spicer than normal if you do like very spicy food). I would recommend a visit ASAP! Don't wait for years like I did. I missed out!

Omanderine in Hartsdale turned out to be the perfect choice. We started with the classic soup dumplings--there's definitely an art to eating them without spilling the broth or burning your mouth, but that's part of the fun. They were delicious. We also had the vegetable dumplings, which were just as satisfying. For our main dishes, we ordered the beef short ribs, which were generously portioned and full of flavor, along with beef chow mein and vegetable and egg fried rice. My personal favorite was the chicken and broccoli in a rich sauce which really stood out. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive, offered great recommendations, and even brought me a fork when it became clear my chopstick skills needed some work. The décor transports you and complements the dining experience beautifully. The décor makes you feel like you've been transported somewhere far more exotic than Westchester, which pairs perfectly with the food and the overall vibe. We came for a break from pasta. We left planning our return.

After hearing so many positive things about Aberdeen Seafood & Dim Sum, I was expecting a standout…read moremeal, but I left disappointed. The food wasn't bad--it was simply mediocre and underwhelming. The biggest issue was that several dishes were underseasoned and lacked the bold flavors I expect from a good Cantonese restaurant. The Yang Chow fried rice was especially bland and needed more seasoning. The har gow and several of the dim sum items also fell short of expectations. The steamed spare ribs and beef chow fun were okay but nothing memorable. The salt and pepper shrimp was probably the highlight of the meal, but it wasn't unique or better than what I've had at many other Chinese restaurants. Overall, the food was decent, but considering the restaurant's reputation, I expected much more. I don't regret trying it, but I wouldn't make a special trip back.

So... we traveled 1200 miles to have wonderful Chinese Food. The Aberdeen, located off the lobby…read moreof the White Plains Residence Inn, is known for its dim sum - which is excellent. However, the rest of the broad and deep menu is excellent as well. The rich Sweet Corn Chicken Soup is sweet, thick (but not gummy) and quite tasty. The pan fried dumplings were outstanding. They were perfectly cooked and well stuffed with minced pork and veggies. The Honey Walnut Shrimp were amazing - plump and perfectly dressed. Finally, the Sesame Chicken was amazing. Perfectly cooked but the best thing is that the chicken was moist, rich and flavorful. So, if we're ever back in White Plains, you know where we'll be dining.
