I usually don't do this. My aim is help Faria improve their product, and keep on selling good stuff. Faria's traditional croissant in 2025 was top notch and comparable to croissants in Paris, it was THAT good. Better than even Bay Area croissants. It was fluffy, buttery and flakey. With the right amount of butter ratio. But something changed this year. Now it's flat, quite dry, w/ lowered butter ratio, and higher sugar content. Like Faria decided to cut corners? Sorry, if this is wrong. But it's now a MID croissant, when it was damn near perfect. I tried it a few times this year, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. But obvious recipe change. What happened, FARIA?!?!?!?! When feedback was given under comments on their IG, they also blocked me. Weird. Why the defensiveness? Again this review is left w all due respect to what was a perfect croissant. No need to change a great product.

Street parking only. Limited indoor seating secondary to inside renovation. Lots of outdoor seating. They have some of their goodies on display but it's mostly ordering through an iPad/kiosk. The peach danish was ok. Almond croissant was also ok but I had just been spoiled by a popular SF bakery. Almond paste was decent, croissant a bit flakey but not maximally. The loaf was nice but I didn't get much pesto. I think it's a sourdough? The tomatoes were also a nice touch. Used it to make breakfast toasts. Minimal interaction with service staff 2/2 kiosk ordering. Vibes inside are chill. Outside was very pleasant minus the Broadway traffic.

Stopped by this coffee and bakery spot in Sacramento and had such a great experience. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and really inviting . Perfect if you want to sit, relax, or catch up with someone. The coffee was smooth and well made, and the pastries tasted fresh and high quality. I also liked that they have a dog-friendly patio, which makes it even better if you want to bring your pup and enjoy some time outside. Ordering was super easy too You can place your order on a tablet inside, which makes everything quick and convenient. What really stood out to me was the overall vibe. It feels like a place you can come back to regularly, whether it's for a quick coffee or to spend some time unwinding. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

We came here twice over the last 2 weeks. we love their lattes and pastries. The place is spacious and has lots of tables. We ordered their Cherry mocha, black sesame latte, mocha, cortado, cookies, canelle, bun, smoked salmon with bread, cakes, etc. They are all delicious. The latte is smooth and came out with beautiful latte art. You can request less sweet. The place is easy to order through their tablet. And the staff are efficient in getting the orders fast.

I stopped by here a few times a month the coffee and espresso is phenomenal. I've had a few other food items. They're pretty good honestly I think the coffee cake might be the best thing that they have on their menu.

The ambiance the bread and the drinks were perfect. Came here spontaneously on thursday morning and it was not very busy. I got a mocha which was delicious. I also ordered a pork floss bun, ham and cheese croissant, and almond crossiant. I was not planning on staying to eat my pastries but when I felt that the pork floss bun was still warm I sat down to enjoy it! It was amazing. Will be back to try the miso loaf!

Love this bakery! Large space indoor and outdoor. I'm usually an iced coffee girly but the Black Sesame Kouign Amann Latte that only comes hot is to DIE FOR! It's amazing, deff a must try. It's so good I came back literally the next day to drink it again but this time in a mug. The lattes are so gorgeous and the ham and Swiss has Dijon in it, with soft inside and crispy outside. The people who work here are all so lovely and the space is inviting, and clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking to find along the streets and lots to look at in the area within walking distance. A place that will quickly become part of your rotation once you visit!

I can see the love of bread here. Their ultimate deliciousness of their baked goodness comes through once you sink your teeth into their almond croissant, peach & lavender croissant cup, canele, sugary morning bun...awww do I need to go on? It was our very first time visiting this bakery & most likely not our the last. My wife was chitchatting with the lady in front of her in line curious as to what she was going to order? Come to find out she convinced my wife to buy that peach & lavender croissant cup which was the supreme item that day in the bakery case! They did have savory baked items too plus the morning bun which she have had at Camellia coffee. Now that sugary bun was way too sweet for her & hurt her teeth which was the original reason why we hadn't visited here earlier. She didn't have that issue at all with the other pastries. Go figure. We now understand the long lines here waiting to purchase those most tasty treats. Our iced coffee & iced tea were just average & nothing special but that would not deter us for not returning to the storefront again. Service & ambiance was good. Parking could be a challenge. They did have little outdoor patio seating as well as little indoor seating inside. Their storefront is skewed inside so it makes for awkward seating. But you can always take your goodies to go. Our disappointment was we just didn't buy enough! Ok that peach & lavender croissant cup is calling us!!! It was such a pleasant surprise unlike something we never had before. A must repeat. No wonder that other female customer was there in line for it!!! Not surprised Faria Bakery is at Midtown Farmers market & now a brick & mortar location in Folsom! Lucky them! Now why are they not in Elk Grove??? We are waiting!!!

First time to the new location and it is fantastic having so much more room for people to sit, stay and enjoy(e). Our favorite bakery in the entire country, an be sure to sit down and try their a Turkish Eggs and McEgg for fantastic brunch items, then load up on pastries to take home. If you're geeks like us, get a to-go coffee and sit out front, watching the bakers at work through the window before you leave.

The almond croissant looked good, but it was too well done. I was expecting a flaky crust with a soft and chewy center, but the entire croissant was hard. It was like eating a cracker. The middle was filled with a sweet almond spread. I tried to like it, but I was disappointed. 6/10.

Faria is a new must when I'm in Sacramento! Came by for a team breakfast and I loved the Turkish Eggs! Such a beautiful mix of flavors. I loved the spiced yogurt-base and consistency of the sunny-side eggs. The baguette was nice and crispy. It came highly suggested by the staff and I couldn't disagree. The bakery is also beautiful with great lighting and tiled table tops. Hoping to buy from the bakery on my next trip!

Famous for their bread! This cozy spot offers a variety of pastries and coffee, and sliced pizza for lunch. They also sell their famous breads here. If you try to buy their bread at the farmer's market, you will need to wait in long lines! Although a bit overpriced, their products are clearly of good quality and highly sought after.

Visited their popup at the midtown farmers market. Always heard of them and wanted to try. I tried the morning bun and black sesame kouign amann and the morning bun. Total was 12$. Bakeries are lwk expensive sadly, but i would buy it again. The kouignn amann was soo good, not too much black sesame flavor but it was buttery and sweet and still very crisp after a couple hours i wish i bought more lols. Similarly the morning bun was still fresh and crisp, the filling was suppper cinnamony lol but still good.

Walking in, the line was short but the staff took a really long time servicing people. Since it's a 2hr drive from SF to Sac, you know I'm about to bulk buy. The case had a good selection but quite a few were sold out already. Everything looks really delicious but I had to control myself. Almond Croissant $7.50 - I don't remember what this tasted like so it must've been standard. Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. The dipped part was like a white chocolate matcha and the inside matcha filling was so good. I don't know how but I fridged it and ate it the next day, IT WAS STILL CRISPY! This was the highlight and highly recommend getting it. Blueberry Choux $11 - This was also really good too. The blueberry filling was creamy and delicious. It tasted really fresh. Macarons $2.95 each - Standard stuff. I got a Thai coconut cream and this is a flavor I haven't seen before and recommend trying it! In summary, highly recommend trying this place. The cakes, pastries, and beverages were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. In fact, the cakes impressed me so much that I can honestly see myself ordering future birthday and celebration cakes from here. The ordering process was smooth, and the décor is gorgeous, making it a really inviting place to spend some time. I enjoyed the bakery so much that I came back a week later to try lunch. Unfortunately, that's where things took a turn. I ordered the burger, and someone in my party had the salmon burger. Both were incredibly bland. It honestly tasted like no salt or seasoning had been added at all. If you prefer very lightly seasoned food, this might be right up your alley, but it just wasn't for me. The iced tea also comes unsweetened, so keep that in mind if you're expecting sweet tea. One small thing that could also be improved is the ordering setup. There are separate lines for the bakery and the kitchen, but when it gets busy it can be a little confusing--especially since you order first and then find a seat. Overall, I'd absolutely return for the pastries, cakes, and drinks. The bakery side is outstanding. As for lunch, though, it left me wanting a lot more flavor.

Our total came to about $30 for two coffees and three pastries, which felt reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, this was a great first experience, and I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm craving a coffee and pastry.

The selection was very good and offered a great variety of both sweet and savory items…read more My main issue was with the savory items. I asked an employee to toast them, and she said she did. However, when I bit into my croquette and garlic frank, they were still cold inside. Since I had requested them to be toasted, I expected them to be warm all the way through. I called the store afterward to ask what their standard procedure for toasting items is. The employee I spoke with told me that it "just depends on the worker and how they toast it." That response didn't make sense to me. I would expect there to be a consistent standard for preparing food, especially when a customer specifically requests it to be toasted. the attitude I received came across as very much "I don't care,"

GF Sacramento, y'all are so lucky to have Pushkin's. Stopped in for some treats and was blown away…read more Since being diagnosed with Celiac disease, it's been difficult. I live in a small town a couple of hours from Sac and the only "gluten free" place is In & Out Burger. And it's a 50/50 chance you'll get glutened. Felt like a kid again no joke. And not only was everything dedicated gluten free, but absolutely delicious! Cinnamon roll was fantastic. So were these small little pockets of joy, can't remember the names. Breakfast sandwich was flavorful. Usually gf baked goods are dried out hockey pucks. Everything I ordered was full of moist wonder. Excited to go back, definitely worth a special trip. Please continue to support Pushkin's bakery! Such a gem

Alright, so Pushkin's is pretty cool for those of us with dietary restrictions. I'm vegan, so of…read morecourse I love a bakery with more than like, one option, and Pushkin's delivers on that front. On a recent visit, I asked what was a popular choice and that's how I ended up with a barracuda cupcake, which was pretty delicious. I also got a "breakfast" sandwich, the #4, which sort of tasted like a non-breakfast sandwich, but whatever. It was spicy and tasty, but nothing to write home about. Luckily there is a whole vegan menu, so I would happily try another sandwich on a return visit. I also love that this place charges extra to sub meat, and not to sub vegan (which is how it should be, frankly). The spot itself is small, with not a lot of seating, which makes it better as a place to grab stuff to go. The downside of this is that parking is absolutely terrible, so I ended up parking four or five blocks away.
