So, it's definitely possible that because this place was SO talked up that I was disappointed at the overall outcome. While it wasn't a bad experience, I was expecting a lot more than what we got. To start off, the ambiance is great! The feeling of being in a renovated farm space is lovely and they nailed it. The seats themselves (booth) were comfy, everything is VERY clean, and the walk around the ground afterward was nice. The food itself wasn't memorable. It was an omelette, no incredible flavors or experiences to report there, in spite of being told how amazing the food is. My potatoes were a little undercooked and mushy. It felt very much like a breakfast I could have made at home in less time and with a lot less expense. Also, their coffee was so-so, again in spite of being told how yummy their black coffee is. I was sad to be disappointed. I wanted to love it. The service was also nothing to write home about. It was ok. She took our order, checked in once a while after our food had been delivered, refilled my coffee cup once, and brought us our check (which is done on your phone so there's not really any additional interaction there). We got there right at opening, so she was swamped with tables, making it very challenging to have time to actually offer anything more than the bare minimum of customer service. I would go back if a friend planned a meal or event here, but I cannot not say I'll be going out of my way to eat here (it's very out of my way haha)... thanks for the meal, Farm 12! Farm 12 has been on our list to try and they definitely are pretty good. Went on a late Friday afternoon and it was busy. We had a reservation, but they seated others before us. We had reserved for outside, but outside was already taken and it is first come first serve. We ordered a Farmers Salad as our appetizer. Generous with each condiment listed for the salad. Tasted great. For entrees, I ordered the Pan Seared Salmon while my husband ordered the Beer Battered Fish Fry. Salmon was crisp uptop and well cooked in the middle to bottom. Fish Fry was a little perfectly burnt, not overly crisped. Even though we were there 30 minutes past closing time, there were still a ton of people still dining and enjoying their date/company. The waitress there did say that dessert was starting to get sold out near the end of the night, so be prepared. Overall, we will come back again! read more

The wait to eat was a little long 40 mins just a lot of people know the food is worth it. It has a cool vibe indoors and outdoor seating during the summer. Shared the charcuterie board with others and it was amazing. Wagyu beef shaved with the spiced grapes, the tomato jam, the cheeses, very well crafted and good flavors. Had a salad for lunch it was also very good. I didn't see anything coming out of the kitchen that wasn't anything less than fantastic looking! Been wanting to try this out. The good.. it's a beautiful place, they have a patio that is dog friendly and everyone is really nice. Also the bread is good as well as the lemonades. We went for brunch and made reservations so no issues with getting in. Everything else isn't great. We had multiple things from chickens and waffles to sandwiches and crepes. Nothing stood out. The bread on the sandwiches was really dry. The turkey sandwich was super dry. The waffle was bland. The chicken was decent. The crepes were really small and made with canned fruit. I haven't been able to eat at Farm 12 since I transitioned from vegetarian to vegan. For a while, they had very little that I could eat. But I was so pleased that they have done some recent menu updates to accommodate vegans! My friend and I had a great lunch here. We each got an autumn spritzer, a zero-proof mocktail. My friend got the beer-battered fish fry. We split an order of Brussels sprouts (bacon on the side). I ordered the vegan philly, and it was so delicious! I also got the vegan crunch and wasn't sure what to expect. It was a little difficult to tell from the menu description. It was tasty but very rich. She ordered the maple bourbon creme brulee, but they missed the maple bourbon when they made it, so they notified us, took the dessert away, and offered her the cherry cheesecake at no charge. We and friends had a wonderful brunch meal yesterday Sunday. The drinks others had got good reviews. My hot tea was perfect...strong, flavorful and hot with a good taste due to good quality bags. 2 had the Chicken Fried Steak and I got a taste and it was quite good. We're from Texas and we know chicken fried steak. One got a sandwich that he loved but I didn't pay attention what it was. We passed around my order of Bananas Foster Pancakes...no liquor and all enjoyed these as well. The server was courteous and top notch. Considering it was totally full, the food was served promptly. This place is super cute. Loved the ambiance and the aesthetic. The menu sounded so good that it was hard to decide what to get. Ultimately, I settled for the truffle fries, bread basket and the short rib. For the drink I had the autumn orchard fizz and the peach ginger spritzer. The truffle fries were good but super salty. It came with a garlic aioli but would've been better with something with a sweetness to it to balance all the salt from the fries and truffle. The bread basket was good. Nothing to write home about. I loved the short rib! It was so flavorful and the meat was plentiful. I'm usually weary when ordering short rib because a lot of the time I end up with a massive fat chunk instead of edible beef. This was not the case and I loved every bite. The autumn orchard fizz drink was delicious. I finished it before entrees came out and ordered the peach ginger spritzer as my second drink. I think it was forgotten about even though my empty first glass was still right next to the entree I was gobbling up. I eventually got my drink and was throughly disappointed. It was incredibly sweet and syrupy. Both the peach and the raspberry were supposed to be puree but it tasted like several pumps of torani syrup. I hated the drink. We also got dessert, a pistachio coppa and Sorrento lemon cup. The desserts came out super quick. I loved my pistachio coppa. My s/o got the lemon cup and we about died laughing when we realized it was completely frozen! Literally just taken out the freezer and brought to our table. The sponge cake and cream was a frozen, crumbled mess! It gave it a nasty waxy texture too. The waitress saw that the desserts were still frozen and did not give two hoots about it. This place was great overall! My group went for brunch and although they had selected options, we all enjoyed our food. We were seated outside but their heaters really made up for the cold weather so I didn't mind :) Our server also gave great service and was really attentive to our group's needs! Came with a party of 5 so had to come in as a walk in. Reservations only allowed for groups of 6+. My wait to get seated for brunch ended up being a little over an hour. Was able to go to the coffee shop nearby and check out the local garden to kill some time. Had no trouble with parking since there was a big parking lot on the side of the restaurant and street parking right in front. Went with the seasonal Mimosa flights which had some interesting flavors that I never had before like black berry vanilla and coconut. The waitress warned us to cover our mimosas with napkins because the fruit flies were going crazy for them LOL. Overall food was really yummy and worth the wait. Farm 12 Restaurant in Puyallup is where two of my long time friends and I love to meet for lunch several times a year. Welcoming ambiance and the service is excellent. After lunch we like to stroll around their beautifully landscaped grounds, weather permitting. Several of the meals at Farm 12 are unique and delicious! I've been wanting to go here for years and finally went today with my sister! Pros: -Country fried steak was DELICIOUS! So crispy, huge piece of meat, sausage gravy had lots of sausage pieces and was very flavorful -My sister said the burrito was flavorful and she liked the chipotle sauce it came with. -Service was very nice but minimal -The aesthetic was so cute and very clean. I loved all the fairy lights and flowers everywhere -Plenty of parking -Scan to mobile pay (they give you the receipt with a QR code and you mobile pay and tip online) Cons: -The wait was insanely long. We got put on the waitlist at 12:40 and didn't get texted for a table until 1:47. We didn't get our food until 2:30 or 2:40 (many other tables also waited a long time I noticed). On the bright side, their cafe is nearby (called Fika) and we went there to wait with some coffees and a slice of cake. It made the wait much more enjoyable that the cafe was there. To be fair, it was very busy and I saw the kitchen was working constantly. Very nice. Not only the food, but the whole environment. I spend a lot of time on the road and try to seek out the local "spot", whenever possible. Tonight was a great one. Delicious food. Cool vibe. I intentionally ordered the fish sandwich, even though I usually steer clear of beer batter and stick with panko or cornmeal, due to the fact that poorly executed beer batter becomes a thick, nasty oil sponge. I had a feeling that they would get it right. I wasn't wrong. The seafood salad chowder was delicious, and the sandwich was really well prepared with house-made tarter that was dilly goodness! This place is fun. Traditional breakfast and brunch menu. My friend got the eggs benedict, which looked delicious, and I got the banana nut pancakes which...tasted like banana nut pancakes. Not enough syrup - you know how the syrup immediately absorbs into the pancakes and you can't tell it's even there - you feel me? One tiny container is not enough. They brought more. They also have a fun cocktail list for brunch, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. While they did say the offer various "milks" in their coffee, at the time we went only oat milk was available. The regular black coffee was fine. Giant space, with indoor and outdoor seating and a counter with pastries and cakes and cookies. They take private patrons and events. Lots of flowers and a garden feel, where you can walk around, plus a vintage truck on the premises. Next door is more open seating (I guess for events) and a gigantic indoor seating area for the next door cafe/coffee shop. Both the restaurant and the cafe sell flower bouquets, I'm supposing from the farm this is named after, though I don't know for sure; however, they do sell out of those. Very crowded and no reservations. Be prepared to wait but it will be a pleasant wait. read more

We had dinner at Farm 12 last night and really enjoyed the meal. We got there right at 5pm because they do not take reservations, you can add your name to the list though, and this place fills up fast! It's a good kind of noise inside when it's full. We got sat right away and started with the sweet potato hummus which we all really liked, the crunchy pepitas and fresh bell peppers were nice compliments to the picked red onions. We had the jalapeño ranch chicken sandwich which was great, the chicken was battered in a spicy batter and the crunchy coleslaw was a perfect combination. The braised short rib was so tender and the demi sauce with it was really intense with flavor and great with the garlic mashed potatoes. In WA to visit my coast guard son, after our trip to Mt Rainier we stopped here. I looked it up good reviews and the food looked great. The restaurant is very cute and the food was great, service not so good. This was Monday late afternoon, not real busy. Didn't get our appetizer had to ask for water refills and didn't get in a timely matter although 2 tables got water carafes. Husband went inside to ask for sauce because server didn't come back. I wanted to love this place so bad. We got there at noon so we expected a wait, a table for 2 took 45 minutes which was fine. But when we sat down it took an hour after we ordered to get our food. By this point we'd been at the restaurant almost 2 hours so we started eating anyways. When the waitress came by to ask how it all was I mentioned to her that my mom's was cold, she said she would see what she could do about it and walked away. When she came back by a few minutes later she said that because my mom had started eating they could just comp the cake, which seemed fine but also we were just hoping for the food to be heated up so it was edible.
