Lots of word of mouth recommendations led me to Yelp to do the due diligence before taking the short walk from the Holiday Inn Express. Shrimp po boy was excellent, battered and fried perfectly. I mean perfectly. Tender, just barely cooked enough. Nobody does this right (98% overlook shrimp). Batter was tasty and had good adhesion, not easy when the shrimp are that tender. Great sides, had turnip greens and creamed corn. The farm fresh taste really came out in the corn. Service was as good as the excellent food. Slight knock, po boy bread could have brought more flavor to the equation. More remoulade, garlic bread? I just ate the contents in their undiluted brilliance. Well it was my first time to Georgia and while staying at a local hotel ordered out. Farm and Fork seemed like a good choice, a way to try new food. (I'm from New Hampshire). I went with crab cake sandwich and white beans and ham. I hate to say this but it was completely underwhelming. There was honestly no hint of ham, which nicely complimented the lack of flavor. Now I am not a crab cake expert, and maybe a sandwich was not the best choice. Even after getting rid of the bread, I did not like. It was just to much stuffing and too little crab and/or flavor. Companions were also disappointed and only thumbs up was for the mushroom Swiss burger. And we can get those in NH. read more

An interesting idea, but nothing special. My husband & I decided to try the restaurant out since it always looked crowded, it must be good, right? We ordered burgers and they were under cooked- not Medium and Medium Well like we specified. We would have sent them back to be cooked a little more, but our server didn't return until she brought our check. The waitress across the way checked on her customers often. Maybe ours was new. Someday I'll visit again and just order a vegetable plate because they do have large selection of sides. read more

We was here on 11/4 for a friends birthday. This is the first time we have been to the bigger location and I need to say Less is More.. We waited a long time for our drinks not a big deal waitress was busy. We got Onion rings that were soggy with no ranch after asking twice. The brought the salad with wrong dressing and soup no crackers. We asked 2 different waitress for these items and never got them. We go our food and the fried chicken was so dark from the grease being dirty. The hamburger steak had mushroom and onions that had been in a team table all day and were so mushy i did not eat them. The brisket plate had 3 small pieces and was cold. When this location was smaller the owner was around all the time and very aware of any issues. This was horrible visit. Brown and unappetizing romaine lettuce and the worst bottled Caesar dressing I have ever had!! Grilled Shrimp Tacos cold and raw!!! eewwwhhhh! Lighting is horrible and the karaoke was annoying. Although she was nice our waitress knew nothing about the menu and I first ordered the Mahi-mahi tacos she came back and said they were out!! This place use to be my fiancé and i's favorite place to eat in Ringgold, but as time past, the food has not lived up to their previous standards. The service continues to be good, and interior is always clean, but unfortunately I think they have gotten too heavy handed with the salt. The last few times that we've been, everything has been extremely salty. This makes me sad because it to be a local favorite of ours but now not so much. I'm not sure if this is all due to their transition to their newer location but the quality isn't like before. During dinner this time, we ordered the chicken tender basket, with a side of grilled squash as an appetizer, a smothered chicken with onions and mushroom with a side of their chicken tortilla soup and cream corn, and also the chicken panini with bacon. I can't recall the name of the menu item, but that with a side of cabbage. The chicken tenders were Good, crispy, and moist. This was actually my favorite. Everything out they outdid it with the salt. We couldn't eat but a couple of bites. I do hope with the new restaurant coming, they tweak their seasonings a little, otherwise there might be a lot of new cases of high blood pressure. read more

This was our first time here and we were very pleased with our choice, a small but quaint place in the town of Ringgold GA, which is right outside of Chattanooga Tennessee. Our server was Amber she was very friendly, polite and courteous. She informed us of that days specials, which made us more hungry..All of the food was very tasty from the appetizer to the entree. If you visit this place you must try the potato cake it is so good you also might wanna try the smoked wings as an appetizer. They were very flavorful, you can't just eat one. Normally when you order a salad it's iceberg lettuce with one wedge of a tomato, but not here, this salad was a spring mix with all the fixens. Any of the servers I've dealt with have been friendly and knowledgeable. The bar staff is experienced and take the time to connect with the guests even when it's busy. I refuse to leave the parking lot without first writing this review. This literally just happened 2 seconds ago. Im on my way to Nashville and decided to stop in based on reviews on Yelp. I walk into to restaurant and NO ONE greets me. I then decide to help myself to a menu to see what they serve. I see 2 waitresses walking back and forth, then a white couple enters as I am standing at the door. Mind you... Im standing in front of a sign that reads "Wait to be seated by the hostess". The hostess who saw me standing there, overlooks me and immediately starts to service the couple that JUST WALKED IN. Im completely shocked right now. I politely put my menu back and did a quick exit. Im reallt hoping this wasn't racially charged, because I'm the last person to EVER make assumptions. By the way, the waitress/hostess was short with an orange tan with black hair. If you happen to go in and see her, let her know that wasnt cool!!! Addendum: I had the opportunity to speak with the owner of this establishment. I am extremely happy with the way he handled things. I hope my experience was a lesson learned and does NOT effect them in any way. My goal is to fairly rate based on my personal experiences. One day in the future, I hope to visit this place and enjoy the food that is pleasantly represented by other reviewers on Yelp and have 5/5 service. #StayTuned read more

Was part of a party of 16 ( 12 adults) for my birthday. We made reservations ahead of time & the table Was ready when we got there. That's what the star is for. So disappointed in the food! Had the steak medallions & they had absolutely no flavor. When I let my waiter know he took the medallions back to the kitchen & returned with them and a ramekin of Cajun seasoning " that I could add to it". The hamburgers were dry & tasted like they had been smoked. Again no seasoning. The pimento cheese burger truly had pimento cheese smeared like mayo. Extremely skimpy for a " pimento cheese burger". Wow! Came in for a late dinner around 9:00 PM. Was greeted promptly and actually sat in under two minutes. The wait staff were all very professional and clean shaven. The restaurant itself was spotlessly clean. Now the food: WOW!! I had the smoked Java coffee brisket with sauteed spinach and fried okra. All it was supposed to be and more! Thanks Yelp for a great lead! We needed a quick bite on our way to ATL but did not want a chain. This was in an older strip center but that was about the only possible negative. Service was great - Tristan was well informed about the menu, made a couple of recommendations that were awesome. We started with bacon dusted tots with pimento cheese. Crazy good. Tots were crispy and hot, and whatever bacon dust is - Wow. It was sprinkled lightly but added great flavor. Hopefully we will be driving through again & I will ask them to go heavy on the dust! The cheese was light and tasty. We split the jalapeño bacon cheddar burger and it was great. Big, juicy patty cooked perfectly - nice crust on outside & perfect juicy medium inside. Bacon was thick cut and did not fade away from the strong great beef but complimented it perfectly. The deep fried pickled jalapeños were a very nice add - I would order them as a standalone appetizer if they offered them. Fries were also very good - hot, crispy, seasoned well & not greasy!
