Great food! The cinnamon roll can feed 4 people... very yummy! All the staff is very friendly and welcoming Definitely go back. We had the Huevos Rancheros and French Toast ... hash browns extra crispy!!!

Get the cinnamon roll. It was fresh, moist and every bit of it was cinnamon and sugar heaven. I shared it with 3 people. It was great. I also had over easy eggs, hash browns and bacon. The service was quick, fast and checked up on us several times. We will definitely be back but next time I want to sit in a big red booth.

Farmer Boy is a Santa Barbara staple, their food is always reliably good and the staff is so friendly. My partner and I have been coming here weekly for years because the staff is attentive and friendly, and we know our food will always be delicious. The prices are the best in town for the quality of ingredients and portion sizes. The restaurant itself can get quite busy on the weekends, but somehow the wait time is never very long. This diner has not lost its charm in all the years it's been open, no matter how updated everything is! Clean place, as well, tables are always bussed spotlessly and booths are always clean. It's a must-visit for tourists and locals should add Farmer Boy into their rotation. We love Farmer Boy!

We arrived and sat in a booth, excited to look at the menu. It was my first time visiting Farmer Boy. My friend and I ordered omelettes with hash browns and it came with a a pancake too! My hash browns were cooked nice and toasty (my favorite). Everything was delicious, service was great, we stayed talking awhile after and no one was rushing us to leave. It's a good spot to enjoy a meal.

It was my first time here with friends on our way to camp at Morro Bay. We were seated right away and ordered what we wanted. The food came within 10-15 mins which was good considering it was packed. The food was average, but the service was good! I wouldn't mind coming here again if it happens to be on the way.

We clearly came hungry We ordered the poke nachos, avocado egg rolls, spicy tuna crispy rice, yuzu buffalo boneless wings, crispy coconut shrimp, fries, and the prosciutto and arugula flatbread. Everything was fresh and really good, elevated bar food with lots to choose from. The spicy tuna crispy rice was probably my favorite! My sister LOVED the avocado egg rolls, which have mango in them and were definitely a fun twist. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again was the prosciutto and arugula flatbread. The prosciutto was sliced pretty thick and cooked almost like bacon, which just wasn't what I was expecting. And the margaritas!! We tried the skinny, guava, and spicy mango and ALL three were excellent. I also loved being able to split and pay the bill ourselves on the little kiosk at the table. No waiting around for the check, which is such a nice touch! Fun atmosphere, great service, good food and EXCELLENT margaritas. I would definitely come back! Only took pictures of the drinks because we were too hungry lol.

This location is in Santa Barbara's "Funk Zone" district, which was formerly an industrial area that's turned into a wine and art district full of interesting places to gander. The Good: * Huge dog-friendly covered outdoor seating * Full lineup of their signature Shalhoob craft beers. They also have fermented grapes and liquor, if beer isn't your jam. * Service was friendly and welcoming. * Street Parking and City-owned lots, as well. The lots are your best bet, and they're free for a short while. * Prices are very reasonable for a BBQ place. * The Street Corn app might be the best thing we ate here as the corn was super fresh right off the cob, and the Chipotle aioli was superb. * BBQ Beans was more of a bean soup, but it was decent. * Mac & Cheese was also pretty good. Carrots enjoyed it more than I did, but I might've been grumpy from the shitty meats (more on that in a minute). The Meh: * Tritip was completely dry and tasted like it was cooked in the oven and then finished on the grill. But, I will say, at least it was edible unlike the ribs... The Ugly: * Maybe the worst ribs I've ever had. They were just completely hammered with salt and completely blew out my palate within two bites, which is a shame because they were tender and cooked well, but jfc, no amount of sauce or anything is going to save something this salty. Conclusion: Maybe we just caught them on a bad day because a place doesn't survive for over fifty years serving up meat like this. I'd be willing to give them another try someday, but I need my tongue to recover first.

I was forward about the fact that I had a virtual business call before I sat down or placed my order. I actually stopped into their place specifically to have my virtual business call and dinner. If there truly is a policy against phones in the establishment that should have been communicated from the start so I did not place a $56 order and waste my time and ruin my business meeting. I'm quite uncomfortable that they were perfectly fine with accepting my order meaning I was obligated to pay the money, but they were not comfortable communicating ahead of time that their policies might deter my patronage today. At least their staff was communicative. I would've been inclined to come back next time Also, the first time I was "warned " was being told I just needed to turn it down, which I obliged to. My phone was at the lowest setting and was against my ear for a majority of the conversation, quieter than most of their other patrons. It didn't seem like I disturbed any of their other patrons, and I was not told that I disturbed any of the other patrons, so I find it hard to understand why my business call was this much of a disturbance. I just think it's a little weird that I was able to order a drink, appetizer, and meal on the phone with my team, and get a client on the line before they eventually told me about this so-called policy. Put it on your website, on your Yelp, and on your entryway if it's that big of an issue. Again, I'm happy to follow the rules as long as it's fair. This feels very arbitrary, possibly even prejudice against my tattoos and unkept hair from the beach. With everyone's attire being loungewear I didn't think I was an issue that I could come in just as casually. I would've appreciated being turned away before they were happy to accept my money and disturb my meeting beyond repair.

Not mentioning that it was an extra three dollars on top of the $13, if I chose any other side besides fries. Which I thought was a little manipulating on his part. I pulled the manager to the side and mentioned it to him, he cleaned it up and corrected it immediately very polite and forthcoming. Other than that, Service was outstanding, And I tipped accordingly. Now about the food, Burger was medium rare as I asked. A little Dry for the Cook. It would've been much better with the bone marrow butter, but they are asking an extra four dollars for that. Nice brioche, bun, secret sauce, fresh slightly grilled onions, thinly sliced fresh tomato. the only complaint I have is about the lettuce. It was old, and brownish edges in color. Fries were crispy and hot. I was also offered ranch with them when the server brought the meal out, and did not charge extra for that. I was also given a punchcard for the lunch menu with one stamp and at five stamps You get a free item from the lunch menu. Which is a great customer service touch. Restaurant was inside but open air, with a full bar and five big screen TVs playing sports. Will be back to try menu items, The bill was $14 and some change with tax, I tipped five dollars so a good burger and fries for under 20 bucks. Cheers.
