Just know base prices include chicken - everything else is an up charge. We are fine with up charges but feel like we should have been informed. I paid $45 for two bowls--a gyro bowl and a Mediterranean bowl with steak--and the portions were extremely disappointing for what I paid. I received what looked like a single scoop of rice, a small handful of salad, and only about 5 tiny pieces of steak. For $45, I expected a substantial serving of food, especially from a restaurant charging these prices. The portions were so small that it felt like I barely received any food for my money. This was also incredibly inconvenient because I paid for what I expected to be a filling meal and instead was left feeling like I needed to find something else to eat. I understand food prices have gone up, but $45 for these portions is simply not reasonable. The food may have tasted okay, but the value was absolutely not there. Definitely NOT worth $45 at all. I left feeling ripped off and very disappointed. I hope management takes a serious look at the portion sizes because customers should feel like they received what they paid for. I'm never going back.

They totally nailed it and the chili was delicious. My fellow diner was impressed with her omelette, and remarked a couple of times on the high quality of the coffee (which was refreshed often while we were there). I have to admit to a bias toward these small, mom and pop places as I like the great quality and service I find consistently at them. Driving up to the restaurant you see how well kept up it is,walk in the same.The whole staff is busy doing something. The server was nice, asked the right questions,they got our order right,love that.We enjoy every experience we have here.We always leave pleased.Aand ring that bell to tell them what a good job they did.They all say Thank you.Come check them out,fresh ingredients and the burger's taste like fresh beef and bacon if you get bacon.I get the Farmer boy.I can only say this,we don't eat anywhere else but here,and what a treat it is coming here.The area where this one is located at is booming with business all around,so come check them out,you won't be disappointed. read more

Great place for really good big portions of tasty food. It is a bit on the pricy side, but the food is really good size and quality taste and ingredients, so kinda makes up for the sticker shock. I was worried the first time seeing the prices, but I found my favorite bacon cheeseburger from going here. The extreme bacon boy is awesome. They have other great food too, and I love that fresh fruit is available instead of fries as part of the combo. There front of house and drive through are a weak spot as some times the staff doesn't keep track of getting the food when ready, but the cooks do a wonderful job and I haven't had a bad meal yet read more

Ok, lets be real with real burgers . Fake filler rubberized beef . Service quick in the drive . Ordered the farmers cheeseburger to check the quality ... This is comparable to a dry soy burger . I'm guessing people are used to fast food crapyness . i dont really know what I was expecting . did not eat the burger ,... spent $9 on fries burger and ice tea . bad service tonight at Ceres Farmer Boys, everytime we tried to tell the girl at the drive thru we had a coupon, she kept interrupting us to take the drive thru order at least three times. She then got another girl to take our money and then when we got home our order was wrong. I watched him hand an older gentleman his sandwich and simply say, "We appreciate you." Those three words really caught my attention. You don't hear that kind of genuine appreciation enough anymore. Not because I didn't want any, but our server was busy with other tables and didn't get to us until we were almost done. My wife's meal was mostly ok, but the English Muffin was hard enough to use as hockey pucks. My chicken fried steak had a weird flavor and not sure if it was on the gravy or the seasoning used on the meat. But it was just so-so, nothing to write home about. Best thing was the eggs, done perfectly and hashbrowns were pretty decent. Biggest complaint was the slow service, probably due to it being grad weekend and they were pretty busy with families (according to the cashier), and the extremely dirty place. The bathroom was also dirty, obviously nobody had cleaned it for quite a while. I blame management for not planning ahead and having at least 1 or 2 extra servers/busboys on hand to handle the larger crowd. We decided to return to the Ceres location and call that our home for Hod Rod Diner food. As another recommendation, I suggest taking the carpet out and just having a plain floor; much easier to keep clean than a carpet.

It's bigger than the fillet fish at McDonald's, but the tartar sauce taste the most similar. Arby's tartar sauce way too mayo-y and gloopy and way too sweet. The pickles add a nice coolness and crunch and the bun is perfect for the heft of fish that comes with the sandwich. I thoroughly enjoyed this sandwich so much and wish that it was on the menu permanently. Fries were meh as usual - my opinion and the chicken nugget, my usual go to at Wendy's, tasted like it usually does. I would go to Wendy's more often if the fish was on the menu!
