Long wait time was waiting for a hole hour to get my order never coming here again bad service. 08/28/2022

My husband tried it when he was back home in the midwest so he was excited to see one in CA. We hit the drive thru on a late night drive home from L.A. It was nice that it was open kind of late but the food was just standard fast food, I thought. I had a standard cheeseburger (no fries). I went in on 3/17/19 and wow! Was not amazed with the service. First of all, the cashier Was rude! Secondly, they were out of fries, and I specifically asked the cashier ok if you are out of fries what are you guys "REPLACING" them with ( I ordered a combo & I'm paying for a combo) cashier said;' zucchini, fruit or salad, I said perfect let me get zucchinis! I was CHARGED for the zucchini, keep in mind I asked what the fries were being key word (replaced) with & I still got charged extra for the zucchini's. & they failed to tell me so! I didn't get any reimbursement or remedy or an apology!(that was the part that got me upset) read more

I have really enjoyed Farmer Boys. The quality of the food is excellent. I have always enjoyed how fresh the food taste. I enjoy their onion rings, and their salads. I have also have had their hamburgers. I have always enjoyed all of it. It's one of my favorite places to eat. read more

They let their drive thru people wait over half an hour because one customer wouldn't park to wait for her food everyone else's food behind her was already done I called because people were hitting each others cars trying to get out of the line to see what the hold up was all they said was there's some one blocking the drive thru and we have to wait like they could just refuse to serve her and move her out the way !!! Great restaurant for hamburger. Of course they have other menus such as salads, sandwiches, soups, etc... I personally like their hamburger since it is so good.. Made to my perfection. It is not a formal dining restaurant. You have to walk up to the counter to place an order. However, when the food is ready, one of the employee delivers the food to your table. Zero Stars for this place, do not try dining in at this place. It is apparent that they do not care about their dine in customers at all. Signs are posted on the door to deter you from dining in and order drive thru. "50 minute wait for dine in orders". When we asked the staff if the sign was accurate they said "Yes, Drive thru, Doordash and online orders take priority". We have been coming to this location since it opened. I don't like leaving negative reviews but this was ridiculous. Ordered a turkey bacon melt and it got to me dripping wet. They put enough mayonnaise on it for 3 sandwiches, the bread wasn't just soggy but wet. Glad I was home and not at work because I was able to switch out the bread. This place is a nice break from the traditional fast food restaurants that are not as healthy as FarmerBoys. The burgers and sandwiches were delicious but the zucchini sticks should be cut smaller instead of serving a giant slice where the breading slides off the zucchini. read more

I truly love Farmer Boys food BUT I am constantly disappointed by the quality it should have vs what I actually get. I order from this location approx. 2-3 times a month and it never fails that something is wrong with my order. Recently I went thru the drive thru and as I'm on the road I take a sip of what should have been a Sobe drink but instead got just the carbonation. This truly upsets me considering that you're not the cheapest of fast food restaurants too constantly have mishaps. read more

Rude rude rude!!! Management needs to retrain their employees or better yet, go back for training themselves because they clearly have little to no experience dealing with the public. The service is slow and unprofessional, the manager made no attempt to resolve my issues with the food or the rude employee I dealt with. The food on past visits has always been mediocre at best, but against my better judgement I returned, huge mistake. I actually had a good time at this restaurant aside from the okay burger that I received. There was nothing special about it but the amount of beef was great for the price. The fries were good as well. The most impressive item I received was the salad. I actually ordered salads back to back days and wish I could have them everyday. You could definitely get two servings out of the one salad portion given. The barbecue ranch was great ..... without the barbecue. That was kinda weird. The fried onions clumped in a ball was annoying to pick through and even try to separate to enjoy. Those could've been left off but at the same time.... what would make this salad different that all the others. The whole eggs sliced stop was the deal! the worst service ever. took them more than half hour after I ordered my food for them to bring the food to the table. I have to tell them if they were backed up it was ok I understand that in a Friday morning only 2 cooks 2 cashiers but one was helping in the kitchen so only one on the drive-true and dine/in but wen ever they bring my food witch was a big order to the table was cold I was going to send it back. so they started bringing the food 2 plates first 5 min latter another one 5 min another till I got mad wen to see if the other plates were ready. wen I got to the counter the cook placed my 2 platters and said this it's the last plates for order 27!! The cashier saw and left, but I still waited, because by then other workers had came, so I waited for the guy to finished the order then the phone ring and he answered so I had to tell the o cashier to please give me my 2 plates, and she said they just came out !!! Waiting 30 mins for two breakfast sandwich is unexpected for drive-thru. The staff never seems to be aware of the long wait time!

Prices are pretty good. I enjoy the natural burger which I found to have great flavor. I have also had the chicken sandwich and it was just okay. If you get the combo with fries or zucchini just know that the fried zucchini is very large, we are talking about like a quarter of a zucchini large. The place is not the cleanest but the staff are very helpful and seem to walk around and try and see how people are doing. The single largest complaint when I go here is that they seem to be very stingy with their napkins. They have them behind the counter and there are a few that are left on the tables for others to use. Not sure what the deal is but it always seems to be the case that when you run out of napkins you have to ask or go hunt. Not a fan of that. Place is pretty cramped and the food is decent. read more

I just finished ordering a farm burger and it is the worst burger I have ever had the bread is soggy the avocado is at least one day old the meat, taste, uncooked and burned at the same time. The cheese was not melted, the lettuce was soggy. The bacon was not well cooked and to top it off. I had a Faint taste of soap. The burger fell apart and wrapped poorly. Off of the 5 freeway, this Farmer Boys location is easily accessible. Drive thru is open 24 hours a day and it's nearby the Commerce Casino and Citadel. It's a fast casual restaurant. Like you order at the front, get handed a number, seat yourself, and your order is delivered to your table. They have actual silverware or plastic baskets when you dine in. Decor is modern. The lady behind the cash register was a good communicator and even though my order was specific, she got it right. I started ordering a natural burger but she told me those don't come with tomatoes and lettuce. So then I changed my order to a cheeseburger with no cheese since there wasn't a normal "single patty hamburger" listed on the menu. She finally understood that I wanted a hamburger with 1 patty, lettuce, tomato, and avocado and punched in that order. It was nice that she made sure that what I was ordering was what I wanted. On the other hand there was miscommunication between her and my mom. She ordered fish dinner with zucchini. She asked if it was still going to come with fries. The lady behind the register said yes. When our order came out it only came with zucchini because on the receipt her order just said zucchini. Workers should read orders the same way. If one worker says there will be fries still in the order regardless if the order says fries or not and the other worker says there isn't any fries in the order because it doesn't say fries then you'll have a lot of confused customers. read more

I had a big order and the employees were completely rude (hence I wasn't giving any rude energy so receiving the rude energy from the employees was completely unnecessary) . They messed up my order and forgot to give me one of the salads I order and to top it off they did not give me bbq for my bbq chicken salad . At that point I was over it and never coming here again . I must be a glutton for punishment because I keep trying to give this place a chance yet every time I drive through the service is so slow I always regret being in line for some reason this particular location takes forever to get an order it's very frustrating because I look inside the dining room and there is literally one person eating so why is it so slow there's also one or two people in front of me in line to the drive-through it just doesn't make sense I guess I'll try it again in a few months and see if they've improved for now I have to remember what a drag it is to come here read more

It took me a bite or two to realize that there were at least a few jalapeños inside. Union rings: Undercooked = trashed.
