Drive thru takes FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spent 10 minutes waiting for 1 car to get their order and now I've waited 5 minutes at the window after paying. SMH. I get better service during their lunch rush hour. I went through the rice thru at 2:25 and got apt at 2:40. The fries were a little warm and not fresh. As soon as we walked in, the servers were so friendly. They helped us even though they were packed on a Sunday morning. They were extremely helpful and the service was fast, within minutes we had our food. We all ordered French toast, usually I order that wherever I go but this, I have to say was the BEST French toast I have ever hand HANDS DOWN. The only downside was the portion for eggs. It was so small, the size of my fist but I won't even take points off for that because the French toast makes up for it lol. Well the personnel in the drive thru was great. Very good on her part. Order bacon and eggs scrambled and they came fried. They gave us only two eggs when it said it was 3 eggs and bacon. If they would have scrambled them like we ask we may have never known. The breakfast burrito was crap. Seems they can't handle high volume traffic in the kitchen. These times I believe are the times you should be on point to gain new customers. Most franchises don't care about individual opinions just an overall average. read more

it was my first time here and I got to say " the food was great " they give you a lot of food and all the staff are the best.....I give the cooks a 5 star just for cooking the food. While I as was there I kept hearing this bell ring and ring, and as I look over could not see the bell but I ask someone what with the bell......she told me if the food is good ring it.....guess what? Having eaten at the Baldwin Park location a few years ago, and never going back, I didn't have high expectations of this location which opened up this week. However, at the suggestion of a friend who had never tried this place before, I decided the week of Thanksgiving was as good a time as any to donate to charity. Located next to a Costco, yet quarantined in its own tiny lot, you will notice the parking nightmare that figures to become even worse once the Coffee Bean next to it opens. Customers dining in seemed to have difficulty leaving the area as the line for drive thru blocked several cars. I had a Charbroiled Chicken Club combo with Fried Zucchini which was just short of $11 before tax. Neither the portion size nor the quality matched the price. The zucchini was decent. Not as heavily battered as other places that serve it. I realize that most people won't be coming to this place to order a Charbroiled Chicken Club so I asked my friend how he liked his burger. He told me to spread the word that if $6 burgers are your thing, a restaurant named after the son of Carl makes a better one. Not all was bad, however. The customer service I received from the employees was excellent and the order, which contained a few substitutions and extras, was completely accurate. This isn't typical of new restaurants, which are usually not prepared to deal with large crowds soon after a grand opening. This will probably be my last time eating here though. Picked up a drive thru order and was in a hurry so I did not pull to the side to check my 4 combo order when they handed it to me. When I got home (5 mins later) I realized that my order was short. The soda was nasty watered down, I was missing an order of fried and the exclamation point on this bad experience was that one of that hamburgers had a noticeable curly hair sticking out of it. I was immediately disgusted enough to just dump all of it in the trash. A replacement order would not have made a difference, that was just hella nasty. I came to farmer boys for the first time tonight and it'll be my last time. 4/26/20 7:40pm the workers messed up our order, twice. We ordered 4 burger meals to go. The first time they gave us an order with 6 meals meant for another customer. We returned it and the other customer had to wait for their order to be remade. Took them forever to bring us our 'right' order, only to look in the bag and see that they gave us a wrong burger. The server did not give us an apology for our long wait or for giving us the wrong food twice. Mistakes happen, but I guess basic customer service isn't expected from these employees. I suggest going to your local Carl's Jr. because the food tastes exactly the same. read more

This review isn't for the food or the customer service. This is mainly for the wait. We came through the drive thru around 1:45 pm on a Friday afternoon thinking the lunch rush was over. There seemed to be a decent sized line but we weren't too worried because how long would a 8 car line take? To make a long story short: 45 minutes. 45 minutes and with no way to even remove yourself from the line because of the design of the parking lot. Of course, by the time we received our food it was cold and we were so hungry it didn't matter. Let's be real. Pandemic, yes. Excuse to slack? I think NOT. If you can't multi-task you shouldn't be in the food service. I ordered a cobb salad wrap with an unsweetened tea. (3 of the same order for the fam.) We go to the parking area to wait for the food. Almost 40 MINS LATER, they bring our food and plenty of splenda, but no ice tea? We let one of the workers know and she said "I'll get that for you right now, be right back." We seen her go in and out about 4 times without telling us anything. So we had to go inside smh. Sucks when you have to change your review from 5 stars to 1 star, but this place certainly asked for it!! Came here today to have lunch. Didn't go at all last year, due to numerous shut-downs, etc. We figured that since restaurants are now allowed to have dine-in, we thought we'd give it a shot. Even though inside dining is limited to COVID-19 county rules, we didn't mind if we had to wait awhile for a table. What a mistake! We get there and see, upon entering the restaurant, two tables (outside near the door) that were both in use. No problem, we thought, because it was fairly empty inside. When we were asked for our order, I stated that we would like to dine in. The gal waiting to take our order (at the register) stated that there's no dine-in, yet, only outside. I asked her when will dine-in be available. She said maybe tomorrow or the next day. She then suggested eating outside. I said that's not going to work since we don't know when one of the tables will be free (didn't appear that the people using the two tables were in any kind of hurry). As we were discussing what to do, we gradually walked out, not saying anything further gal waiting to take our order, and left. So, my gripe is that it's well over a few weeks since indoor dining has been available, so what's the problem?! I'd of been really mad if we drove all the way there just to eat, but wasn't the case because we did have other business in the area to do. Apparently, this place isn't interested in making money and try to recoup their losses from the statewide shut-down, so I'm assuming that they also don't care about their customers, or whether or not they make any money. They could have very easily opened up about five booths/tables, stay in line with county rules regarding indoor dining, and made more money. I discovered Farmer Boys earlier this year. I usually hit the one in Cypress before going to the Swap meet on the weekends but then I discovered this one off the 5 Freeway on Telegraph. All I gotta say is that I keep coming back for the French Toast plate and the coffee. It's a no frills breakfast. I think what stands out about it, is the consistency. I go pretty often and they never miss the mark. I just really like the old school diner atmosphere and the fact that they have multiple restaurants all over LA. They haven't missed a beat for keeping the experience the same in all locations. I know that this is a challenge for many chain restaurants but the Farmer Boys got it down. If you want good breakfast at a good price and consistent quality and service then look no further. Word. read more

Well for starters the burgers aren't the best thing I've ever tasted, but they're not horrible. The fries are a bit bland but again, not horrible. However my burger came cold and my lemonade was extremely watered down to the point where it just tasted like someone had poured water into my cup and squeeze a little lemon juice in there. I wish I was over exaggerating because that's exactly how it tasted. It's not the best place but it's also not the worst. I wouldn't really go here again unless I absolutely had to. read more

Overpriced fast food with TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service. I wish I had read the previous reviews before coming to this location. First, the food is nothing special, regular fast food that is overpriced in my opinion, but it wasn't that bad. The reason for the 1/5 review is because of their terrible customer service. First, the floors were dirty and the table I sat at was sticky and grimey. I had to ask TWICE if they could please clean the table. The first time I asked a waitress named Berlynn if she could clean it but she agreed and then went to the back and never returned. So I asked Brandon and thankfully he followed through. The cashiers all look miserable and like if they don't want to work there. Second, my experienced was soured because I ordered a coffee and when they never brought it to me I realized it was because they never charged me for it. Then the cashier (a heavy- set woman named Amy) gave me a nasty attitude that insinuated it was my fault. Yet I distinctly told her no creamer and she told me the creamers were by the soda fountain, so I know I did mention ordering a coffee. When I went to pay for a coffee again Amy proceeded to rudely tell me that it wasn't her fault if I'm the one who didn't order it. Then she said that if she didn't want to deal with me should refer me to the manager. This was rude and I do not want to ever eat here again. read more

It's 7:30 pm and they decide to close the drive thru. My knee is hurting me so it was hard to go in that's why I drive to this location. Once I made it in the restaurant I asked why did they close the drive thru. The response was we were too busy in the drive thru and inside so we just closed it. This doesn't make sense whatsoever...isn't this a place of business??? Isn't it a good thing to have the place busy??? Why would you force people to come in. I rather sit in the comfort of my car for 20 min than stand in the restaurant! Horrible service! ***update 12/18/2017 - management did reach out to me from my original post.
