I eat at Farmer Boys often throughout Central Valley. I have never been as disappointed as this place. I ordered the sourdough chicken avocado sandwich with zucchini and an iced tea. The chicken was so dry, there was barely any avocado, the zucchini was undercooked and they only gave me one ranch. They helped three cars in the drive-thru before someone even greeted me. Awesome customer service. The people that work here are great. I ordered avocado bacon wrap thing...sans bacon...but they didn't put the avocado in it either. It was good, but I was pretty disappointed in the lack of avocado. I order a grilled cheese kids meal for my daughter. When we got home it was a hot dog kids meal. She was content either way. I really wish there was a farmer boys in san diego. I took my dad and husband here today before going to our event. When they asked me what type of food this place had, i told them that besides burgers, its the one place i can think of for a restaurant style breakfast from a drive through. They didnt believe me at first but, when they ate their food they agreed with me as well. Portions are quite large for a very reasonable price. I got the biscuit and gravy while hubby and dad shared the breakfast platter. We paid about half the price of what we would pay for at a sit down and in my opinion enjoyed the food more than we would have at such a place as well. Very disappointed. I'm from out of state I come her 2 or 3 times a year. Joined the reward program and then I tried to use my $5 credit they give you when you join. They told me it expired and it did, but I don't think rewards or credits should expire. This is the first for me. Last time I ate here I was not impressed at all but I always give things a second chance. Well here I am and not impressed again burger bottom bun was wet and mushy. The onion rings breading fell off from all the onion rings not just one. Looked like I had corn flakes on my tray. Dining area was dirty. Restaurant was empty now I know why.
