Me and my boyfriend went here and had $10 in rewards. I ended up paying $23 and asked the cashier Jason if he put in the rewards number so I could get the $10 off and he laughed and said yea. We then got our recipe and it didn't say it there. We asked someone else if they could help and she said no I didn't get the $10 off so she gave me a refund of $8. First, I can't believe these reviews! Nobody talks like this. Most of them sound like they're reading from the menu or reading from a script. Which is why I can't believe these reviews. Second, here is my review: A friend treated us to breakfast burritos and they were huge!!! So huge we all saved half, I emptied my half into a pan the next day and remade a burrito for breakfast. All kitchens make you more so they can charge you more, it's just good business (for them). Except for big salads that wilt quickly, as long as you know how to reuse leftovers, it's no big deal. My burrito was perfect: eggs sausage patty hash browns and a light dusting of pico de gallo, could have been more but that wets the burrito so they give you extra side salsa. Not a Mexican breakfast burrito, more like a giant breakfast wrap you can put salsa on. read more

Ordered a particular salad, they did not give me the correct salad. I went back in and requested the correct salad and they told me I didn't order it. I corrected them and they continued to tell me that I didn't order the salad. I asked if they could add on what I thought I ordered to my salad. I want to first start off by saying, I had been a frequent customer of Farmer Boys, but due to switching to a new location for work I had stopped going. Recently discovered that there was a Farmer Boys not to far away from me so decided to go and put Farmer Boys back on my breakfast rotation, but I don't think that will happen after the experience I had today. I placed an order at approximately 8:15am and did not receive what was supposed to be my food until 8:50am. Mind you when I ordered it appeared there were only about 3 people before me waiting. Yes a rush did occur but about 10 to 15 minutes after I ordered my food. When I got my food, it was horrible. The has browns and bacon were ice cold along with my non-toasted bread covered in a mound of butter, even when I repeated several times to no put butter. When I informed staff about the discrepancies in my food they said they would correct the issue, fast forward to about 9:20am no replacements were sent out and ended up only eating my eggs and throwing everything else out. It also appeared that at least another 4 customers were having the same issues. This experience not only left me unsatisfied, but also made me late for a meeting which compounded my frustration. The food is really good, and solid for the price- Customer service is top notch! been a regular for a couple of months now. However they are clearly understaffed and need of some extra help. Lunch rushes are huge there and they never seem to have enough employees. Would suggest to management to hire some more people for the busy times. read more

Been coming here for about 4 months now about once a week because it is the closest place to eat to where I work. Lately they have been taking a very long time to get orders out. Been waiting about 20 minutes or longer for my order usually. The patio tables are always filthy. Very hard to find a table that doesn't look greasy or have crumbs all over it. Please pay attention to the cleanliness of the patio. And please try and get the orders out faster. I won't be coming back for a while since I only get so much time on my lunch and don't want to risk most of my lunch time just waiting for food. read more

Great experience, no disappointments. Two of us went inside and ordered our meals for takeout and were told it would be 7 minutes, so we waited in our car. Sure enough, the server brought out or bagged meals right on time. At home we were totally pleased: one of the best, most generous cobb salads I've had ever, and an excellent California BLT. My partner had the pastrami sandwich, which I tasted, and we both liked it a lot. The regular fries were the best I've had in ages. The FULL all-day menu is amazing, and the fact that they are open early and late means I'll keep Farmer Boys in mind for breakfast at dinnertime or burgers for breakfast! I normally love getting breakfast at Farmer Boys so when I heard that they opened up a new location by my house I couldn't wait. Food was great like always but service seriously needs improvement. I placed my order over the phone so I wouldn't have to wait. The cashier saw me as I walked in but was taking a phone order at the time so Iwaited. Soon after, 3 other customers also walked in and also waited. When the cashier finished taking the order, he helped the other 3 customers that came in after me, before helping me. So I went to order food for my family I got there at 5:55. It took 30 minutes for me to get my meal there was another gentleman ahead of me who had to cancel his order because he was waiting there for 25 minutes and he got there before I ate it I will never go to this location again I'm gonna make sure my friends and family don't go to this location this was an absolute joke. All they tried to do was give me a three dollar off coupon I spent over $50For dinner and that's all. Today is burger day. Farmer Boys is running a $1 cheese burger deal at various locations. Irvine location is a franchised store and not on the list. I called just to check and lady over the phone said they are honoring the corporate promotion. Sounds great! When we arrived at the restaurant around 6:20pm, the general manager at the cashier said they stopped offering the deal at 6pm. That was not conveyed over the phone. When I questioned the manager, she said they're newly opened store with limited supply and man force. Well, then why you even offer the corporate promotion if you're unable to handle the load? If you choose to offer the corporate promotion, then match the full term, which is until end of the day. Otherwise don't even offer. All you did was damaging your image and the corporate farmer Boys image. Totally wasted a trip there. I wasn't about to spend a dime after being treated by the rude manager. Your food is not my 1st choice, I came for the promotion. I'll never set my foot in Irvine location again. read more

I came to this newer location (no drive thru) to pick up dinner for some friends. I visited around 6 pm on a friday and I was one of two guests in this large dining room. I easily placed my order and the staff were very helpful during the ordering process. Unfortunately after I ordered the tuna melt and waited about 10 minutes, I was informed that they did not have tuna and had to change my order to something else which was not a big deal. I attempted to load my receipts to the app but it would only accept one of my receipts from that visit, even though I had two transactions that day. Service was friendly but not very quick and store and bathrooms were clean. I will be back to this location. read more

On the email of farmer boys it does not say ANYWHERE at participating locations once we showed her the email she claimed she was a stand alone franchise and she can choose what she accepts and she does not have to follow farmer boys promotional emails.
