Joanna and I flew from Phoenix, AZ to Santa Ana, CA early this morning. First stop: Farmer Boys for breakfast. I got the three egg breakfast with eggs over easy, bacon and sourdough toast. Delicious! Joanna got the two egg breakfast sandwich with sausage. The food is delicious and the service is excellent

I love me some Farmer boys especially for breakfast I've been going to multiple locations for many years like advertise quality food my one and only concern is the prices are a bit High these days I mean I had the ham and cheese omelet plate and that was $15 itself without a drink and then most of the sandwiches aren't too bad but charging $7 extra to make it a combo it pushes everything pretty high you know what I mean so I'm just trying to get the best bang for my dollar these days I still continue to come in forever boys just not as often as I used to they have a good product and I appreciate that

This restaurant feels like a diner and its cozy vibe made me want to sit longer. The server was very lively and talkative. Food was also very quick. I tried some box sets which are around $9.99 each. It's smaller than most "American portion size" but I think it's just right for a meal (80% full) and it comes with fries and drinks. It tastes good but felt a bit like a fast food place. I guess I just didn't feel like it's fresh from farm, but an okay-to-good quick meal.

The site - It's in a nice area in the business Irvine business parkers. Free standing building next to Homewood Suites, parking can be a challenge with hotel patrons parking in the designated spots The vibe - Very casual fast food. you order online and pickup or order inside. Some tables outside. Can get crowded at peak times. A lot of hotel people, and some mornings the Irvine PD is there. The food - The prices are higher than McDonald's and closer to fast casual sit down places. Two French Toast combos and one coffee was about $33. They have real fresh eggs cooked to order, not poured from box, the fried zucchini is large, fresh zucchini. onion rings are huge, and it's real bacon not precooked cheap tasting stuff like at fast food places. Burger are yummy. And you eat on real plates with silverware, not plastic. Find a seat or booth and they bring food to you if you eat time. The Service - Decent but when but slow at peak times. but the employees try to do their best with sometimes minimal staff. They'll refill you coffee Overall - good place for a more substantial quick bite On this visit, a family member and I met here for breakfast. We both had the French Toast. It was fully,. and large, and came with two eggs cooked to order and came with bacon. Can't remember if ham is still available, but you can also choose sausage. It took about 10 minutes to order to the time they brought the food. Everything was good, bacon was crispy, and they came by the check on coffee. I've also been here for lunch. I really like their burger combo with fried zucchini. It's always been cooked perfectly - large pieces with light breading with ranch dressing. You can also order large onion rings or French fries. Bathrooms are clean. My only complain is the rising prices but that's true or every restaurant these days.

Placed the order from their website and everything was ready once I arrived. The food itself was ok.......nothing spectacular. I got the California omelette. I should have not ordered it with a side of fruits because all I can taste or smell was oranges and fruits. Not exactly the winning or tasty combination of things when you have a mouthful of eggs. This Farmer Boys is not far from area hotels and it's a good one to go to if you need some breakfast to pickup. Other than that, I would not go out of my way to get food there.

I stayed at the Homewood Suites and found the Farmer Boys for a quick dinner. They offer a discount for hotel guests. The woman that I placed my order with was the best! She answered my questions and also doesn't like pickles. So friendly and welcoming. I ordered the veggie burger which seemed to be made fresh in house. It was tasty! It had a dressing on it that was very good (just a light amount which was perfect). I had to have dessert and learned they have all day breakfast (what!?!), so ordered 3 French Toast sticks. I debated that vs a shake, but made the right choice. Delicious! And a way bigger portion than expected (oops). I would absolutely return. The restaurant was clean, had good music, yummy food, and a lovely staff. Recommended!

I tried the new Snacker Box at Farmer Boys, which is a great value - parm-crusted grilled cheese, chicken strips, fries, and a drink. Unfortunately, my sandwich was made incorrectly. The menu says it comes with 3 slices of American cheese and pepper jack, but mine only had American. One of the staff members (a man who had earlier helped fix an issue with the soda machine) came by my table and asked if everything was good. I explained that the sandwich was missing pepper jack and even showed him. He told me they "only put it on half," which was not true - I had already eaten half, and there was no pepper jack at all. He said he'd check with the cook, and I heard him confirm to the kitchen that it was indeed supposed to come with pepper jack. The disappointing part is that he never came back to update me, apologize, or offer a solution. I eventually had to go up to the counter myself, where he told me, "Oh yeah, they said they put it on half, but I told them that's wrong, so they'll make it right moving forward." That was it. No apology, no effort to make it right for me in the moment. I didn't expect a whole new sandwich, but at least acknowledging the mistake and showing some courtesy would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left feeling brushed off. I usually eat here often since it's close to work, but after this experience, it might be a while before I come back. The food is fine, but the lack of customer service was very disappointing.

    Sourdough chicken sandwich

My chicken sandwich meal costed $21 and took over 20 minutes to come out. Came with a tiny piece of chicken. I asked the workers about it and they said they are all that small. Not worth it.

I tried Farmer Boys for the first time and got the fries and Sourdough Chicken Avocado Sandwich. The fries are delicious. Better than Whataburger. The Sandwich reminded me of the one at the Habit. It was definitely tasty. The service was quick and they were friendly. Plenty of seating inside. The Irvine location is right on a hotel lot so plenty of parking. I liked that they had fresh ranch, not packaged ones. Also yellow peppers. It added a lot of flavor to my meal. I would definitely try something else on the menu.

Nice fatty burrito! This location didn't have the little extras of cilantro and tomatoes the one in Murrieta did but I ate the whole thing I by 11am. It's about 6 pm and I am not hungry. Hit the spot if looking for a way to get super full in the am & to last all day, get the burrito. Lots of construction workers were getting there's in the am, so a bit busy, and they are definitely onto something. A little skimpy on condiments only handing out a few at a time, but we had plenty from a few days prior from Murrieta location.

This location is in the same parking lot as Homewood Suites. It's at the intersection of Red Hill Ave and Reynolds Ave. It's very close to MacArthur Blvd just off of the 55 freeway and the 405 freeway. It's along the way to work for me, so occasionally, I'll pick up breakfast here on the way into the office. It's super convenient to place your order and schedule it on their mobile app. My go-to item is their 3-egg breakfast with bacon and sourdough toast. It's a pretty hearty breakfast as the portion size is decent. Their prices are also good, so it's a good alternative to fast food.

    Loaded Fiery Fried Chicken Sandwich

I've ordered food twice from this Farmer Boys location and both times the food has been great! It's definitely more on the pricy side but that's been a theme with a lot of food places. Both times I've been to this location, the staff has been friendly. I ordered a loaded fiery chicken sandwich and an order of chili fries. The chicken was juicy and the quality of the sandwich was superb. The chili fries were very well seasoned and flavorful. I definitely will be coming back!

They love the soda machine that has so many combinations of things to try. I've been trying to venture out and try different things, but my favorite sandwich is the grandstand turkey. They have really good salads as well. We've tried the Chinese chicken and the chimichurri steak. We've also enjoyed their milkshakes. They will rotate in specials every so often so they have different things to try out. The fries are also a hit but the onion rings are especially delicious as long as they aren't overcooked. That's the only thing that I will say that sometimes they have a little bit too much fry on them, but I still manage to finish them off! Their staff is very friendly and eager to please. They tend to have sports playing on their big screens and a steady flow of traffic around lunchtime. Every time I go, I say I'm gonna try the chili cheese hotdog so hopefully next time I can let you know how it is.

Since it was my first visit, I took a moment to look over the menu before ordering. The employee helping me, Gigi, seemed visibly impatient while I was deciding. I then asked whether it made more sense to order a combo or purchase the burgers and sides separately, and her response was, "We already told you the price, so it's up to you at the end of the day." While that may be true, it felt dismissive and didn't really answer the question I was asking. After placing my order, I asked for ranch and house sauce. I was told, "50 cents," and then informed that one sauce was complimentary while the other would cost extra. I had no issue paying for it, but the interaction felt cold and transactional rather than welcoming. The food itself was okay. The fries were good, although the saucy fries could have used more sauce. The ranch dressing spilled throughout the bag, which made a mess of everything inside. I was also disappointed with the onion rings--there were only six in the order, which didn't feel like a good value for the price. Overall, the food was satisfactory, but customer service is a big part of the dining experience for me. I never felt particularly welcomed, and because of that, I don't see myself returning.

The staff were friendly and attentive. We arrived right before the dinner rush. The place had TVs on and music playing. It seemed like a fun place to eat and hang out. One of the staff mentioned how they were packed last weekend with all the FIFA games. We ordered take out - a classic Hammer Burger, a half order of chili cheese fries, and a small order of onion rings. Sauce station was near the soda, you could get whichever ones you liked. Despite our 15 minute drive home, the food was still warm and really delicious. The burger had good flavor with and without their house sauce. The chili cheese fries were skinny fries with a cheese sauce and bean-less chili. The chili was filling and had a little kick to it.
