Something just happened to me that apparently happened to somebody else as well which I've just noticed here listed here. I ate a breakfast burrito and got extremely sick within approximately 1 to 2 hours. Bad upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea. Something even tasted a little bit funky when I ate it. It's been 6 or 7 months since I ate here and I waited a while because I've gotten there sick before. I don't know what's going on with this place but I'm seeing lots of problems listed here in Yelp. Most of the weight and bulk was potatoes as a result with the eggs and meat everything was colored my the potatoes which were not seasoned and unless I added a lot of salsa it was a bland tasteless dish First time for that menu item and will be my last I think the frustrating part was someone assume the manager came by asking how my food was I told them too many potatoes that had no flavor and was disappointed in what was their signature breakfast burrito. You know, I'm a fan of Farmer Boys. Great breakfasts, like a Denny's or Ihop, but with the speed of a drive thru hamburger stand. Been to many different Farmer Boys all over Southern California, and the food has been great in all of them. But this Farmer boys really impressed me, with the upgrade in the decor, of the dinning room. With most Farmer Boys, they have that midwest country farm, feel and look to it, but this one is the opposite of country. It has that high class, big city look to it. Feels like your in an actual sit down restaurant. Almost tip the staff a 15% gratuity. We'll definitely be back to this one. read more

Im very unhappy with this place as i have lived in Duarte and remember it being belt. It WAS a family favorite. My kids are adults now...Service is poor. Customer service is rude and non flexible. I ordered via Door Dash a salad ( huge) 13$ and zucchini ( huge) $6+... It requires alot of ranch. I begged for extra as you only are entitled to 1. I called restaurant Tiffany didn't budge on it. I really like the food and MOST the employees are great and polite except for one Yareli she just horrible. If it was one isolated incident i would of ignored it but to have this issue every time I go eat here is just ridiculous. She gets very offended if you ask for more ketchup (like it's coming off her paycheck) One time i asked for extra because she only hands out 2-3 packets she yelled back "what do you want them for?!" That's just rude and wrong The next visit i asked her for more ketchup and then I was told with attitude "well how many do you need?!" Like it physically pains her to hand out more packets What i started doing is asking for a specific number of packets (6 ) this way i can avoid attitude or silly questions to why I want more Even with that i get attitude and she either cannot fundamentally count to 6 .... Okay, I went on cheeseburger day, celebrated nationally by the entire cheeseburger community, which means millions of cheeseburgers were made and eaten on this non-secular day. I have to admit that the taste of Farmer Boys is fresher than any of the larger chain burger restaurants. It might be the char in the burger or the freshness of the tomato and lettuce, which makes eating so guilt free. I'm now a believer in Farmer Boys and thank you for the BOGO cheeseburgers! read more

Per the employee at the drive-tru on 8/9/24, they stop taking orders at 8:50pm. The business is probably doing so good that they refuse serving customers if we get there at 8:51pm, even thou their business hours say they close at 9pm. This place seems relatively clean inside and like most Farmer Boys I've experienced but the food was very bad. I ordered a club sandwich, which I've had many times at these restaurants. The bread was burnt (not toasted). The bacon was also burnt. The sandwich tasted "off" (I think maybe the cheese?). The fries had a bizarre aftertaste to them. Another person at our table also had fries and they also tasted weird and were unsalted. When ordering, we asked for three ranches and were told two was the limit. If my family of four is spending $40+ at your restaurant, please don't treat me like a child and say I only can get two ranches instead of three. I probably won't come back here, since this was a stop on a road trip. Others beware. I've had much better and consistent food at other Farmer Boys locations. read more

Ordered a Burger that was supposed to have avocado and bacon on it. Asked them to hold the lettuce and light thousand. Instead they give me a burger covered in lettuce with no avocado. First of all, they overcharge for all their food. I ordered some zucchini fries in the drive-through and they give you two little cups of ranch dressing. The last couple times I ordered them through the drive-through they would give me three and say if there's any more we have to charge you. Farmers Boys is one of my all-time favorites when I want a breakfast burrito or a great cheeseburger. I always buy two cheeseburgers, one for now and one for the next day. Came to this Farmer Boys about a month ago. I thought that Farmer Boys was normally good, but this one disappointed me a bit. The line wasn't very long, but it took a very long time to get our food. We were on the way to the airport when this happened, and I was a bit disappointed that it took so long. Once I got the food, it tasted a bit stale. The chicken wasn't the best; I'm pretty sure I would have received better chicken from any other fast food place. The staff was nice, but the food was really pricey for what I got.
