I haven't been to a farmer boys in along time so I thought I would stop in for the chicken Cobb salad. Service was good, the restaurant was nice and clean but I had to take my food back to work and honestly it just looks like that salad had been sitting for days. The chicken was dry and the bacon was not fresh. For $14 dollars a salad and it not be fresh I'm going to have to go back to the prepackaged salads at staters. read more

This restaurant is located in a very nice place right in front of Harkins theater and has some tables out front by the sidewalk also. They have variety of different meals and salads, Nice staff and good prices. My only concern is their supper salty foods. I have tried this place twice an both time ended up with a super salty food to the point that makes you nervous for your health. Won't recommend it for ppl with hypertension. While sitting in the dining room obviously on a break she insisted on watching a show and playing the volume so loud that it became seriously annoying: it's surprising that someone could have so little respect for the people around them that they would make the whole dining room listen to a random show on their phone. I went inside and waited to be waited on. There are no signs stating which side is enter/exit. I entered on the right. All of a sudden it is six people deep on the left. The guy at the counter looks at me and then and just blows me off. I literally sat at a table and called in my order. A female too the order. I the got back in line because there is NO SIGNAGE on where to pick up call in orders. The food was as good as it always is, but the lack of signage is confusing. (2nd fave-the breakfast burrito...try the chili) **Burgers: The Barn Burner...it's got pepper jack, fire sauce and jalepenos. **Sandwich: The tuna melt! (sorry - I'm a sucker for this sandwich). Almost 20 minutes for 2 salads and a breakfast burrito in the drive-thru. 3 cars behind me got their food while I kept waiting. Went inside and only 1 salad had been made. Donovan, who was working the drive-thru line had the excuse that he can't control the kitchen. Sorry that's not a good enough excuse when there are at least 2 cooks, that I could see. Chya, the manager I presume, stepped in to finish my order. I get home and find that it wasnt even correct. Not gonna drive back to fix it. After a long day, I dont have the energy to go back. I had an exceptional experience at this Farmer Boys. Their salads are awesome as well as their iced tea! This location is extremely touristy and loud, even during the weekdays; surprisingly, as busy as it is in this area, my food was presented to me in an extremely timely manner. Patricia was really friendly and polite as she brought us our order and Bri was kind enough to offer to pick up our used plates afterwards. I understand that the outside seating is part of the mountain grove and not necessarily their Jurisdiction, but when a customer asks for a table to be wiped down probably give them something more than a napkin. They did end up sending someone with a sani-wipe after we pressed the issue... but why wouldn't you offer that to begin with? There also is no place to wash your hands since the restroom is closed. Luckily we came prepared with sanitizing gel. Lastly, upon asking for a water cup an employee sweeping went to get the cups without washing her hands. It would take 2 seconds to spread it out instead of leaving it looking like a whole egg and could've known it was no good. The breading on the fried chicken in both the salad and kids meals looked way under done. Surprised the chicken was cooked all the way through. Came in on Saturday night, hours are til 10pm, but open sign was still on so we walked in after hours anyway. Stayed til 11 and they were still serving customers, I'm guessing they're open late because they're new. Ok let's move on to the food. I got the southwest chicken salad like always, but this location, it was fresh and on point, even close to closing. The burger we got was also super juicy and "commercial" like. There was one staff member who was on top of everything we needed and I would have thought I was in a sit down restaurant with servers, he was so helpful. We took our grandkids for dinner and a movie. Susan greeted us and took out order. She was very helpful and friendly. The kids loved their kids chicken meal and freaked when they saw how big my salad was. Susan came around to check on us, offering more dipping sauces and then offered to take a family photo for us. I asked for a hog heaven burrito NO SALSA,EXTRA EGG,EXTRA SAUSAGE, EXTRA HASHBROWN AND BACON STRIPS INSTEAD OF BACON BITS yet somehow this was my third time getting my burrito redone. Not to mention the manger tried arguing with me saying I never said no salsa.
