When you can play with an onion ring because it's rubbery rather than crispy.

End of an Era. I've loved Farmer boys for years now. Best onion rings and salads and burgers oh my... but how the mighty have fallen. Today I went and spent a whopping $85 on 3 meals for 3 adults. And everyone was left wanting more, and disappointed. Fries under cooked and salty, white toast burned black, $12 for pancakes gooey in the middle. I got a BBQ chicken salad, no tomatoes. I got 1 chicken strip for the $15 salad with tomatoes no egg and a pound of cheese that made the salad one of the worst things ever. It was my favorite salad for years. Today I left with an upset stomach. Their once crispy delicious onion rings now look like a thick baked batter that has zero crunch or flavor. Feels like a twizzler rather than onion ring. And for $7 for 4 onion rings NO THANKS. It's just criminal. Unfortunately, we will not return to this establishment. I truly hope they return to their roots, I don't mind paying good money for good quality food. But this is no longer good quality.

Order time: 4:00pm The parking lot was pretty empty when I showed up. However, I feel like that's pretty normal at 4 in the afternoon. Entering the restaurant I noticed two things immediately. 1) it was clean and didn't have any stink. 2) the staff was very kind and welcoming as soon as I walked in. I ordered the bacon boy and upgraded my fries to chilli cheese fries because why not. They brought my food to my table and everything looked great. The cheese on my burger was melting and everything smelled amazing. The burger: was fresh and hot. The burgers themselves tasted like all the best parts of a backyard cookout burger. The toppings were fresh. And the thousand island dressing was a nice touch. The fries: fresh hot and crispy(those not covered in chili). The chili tasted good and was also hot. It didn't have that sitting in a pan all day taste. Overall I highly recommend trying here. It is a bit pricy but the quality of food is great!

I ordered the 9.99 cheeseburger box which came with a small drink and a small fry. For that price, you would think that instead of having a small fry and a small Coke you could get a medium drink and a medium fry. The cheeseburger was good, but the lettuce was really wilted,. and the diced onions kept falling out. Customer service was good.

Very busy, but we got our food pretty quick, and the food was really good... ..... I recommend it

Just got home from going through the Drive Thru. I'm not going to say this will be my last time coming to this restaurant but it will be for a while after today. Customer service and the quality of food has gone downhill at this location. Used to be one of my favorites. We waited for at least 20 minutes in the drive thru after ordering, if not longer. I even turned for my car off for a while and there was only car in front of us. Right before getting to the window, I told my son "I bet they won't even apologize for the wait." Just as expected she never apologized for the wait, on top of that our food was cold and it looks like I got half an order of fries. Sorry to say I was very disappointed.

Brought my granddaughters to farmer boy we drove from Visalia. No greeting from the cashier. She wasn't friendly when my granddaughter asked what was in the different omelette because they had not been here before. The chicken in my sandwich was hard like if it was cooked frozen. Unfortunately ,Very disappointing.

This place is bad with service. I was mistreated and one of the coworkers threw my food at me.

I ordered some French toast and some eggs, and I was being mistreated, one of the coworkers knew what she was doing she even admitted that she remembered me when I called her and complained and she threw my food in my face WHAT IS THIS?!!! If you're not able to treat people with respect then don't work at all. This is awful

Okay, their prices have really gone up. We usually order the southwest chicken salad, no cheese and substi Food is decent. Service is okay. I would rather eat at in-n-out though for burgers cuz it's a fraction of the cost. Haha!

The service was wonderful, the owner sat with us a few minutes since it was our first time dining there. She explained menu items and her philosophy on helping out her local community. Nice table and chairs with linen napkins. A small play area for kids (!) in the part of the restaurant that looks like it serves fresh made pasties and coffees. All fresh ingredients are used along with local food sourced by the community, she used the example of the fresh local pecans and walnuts used in the salads. Fresh french butter and cheeses. We had a Kir Royale to add to our beautiful lunch. I felt like I was back in France for lunch! We had a beautiful grilled salmon salad, the traditional french sandwich- Le Parisien, a Parisien omelet , also with a side of french fries and the well known Lyonnaise potatoes. We were all very pleased and happy with our meals. Each server was very helpful and kind . We brought home fresh croissants and the chocolate filled croissant. So delicious. We will return for crepes and many more items we were not able to try. It's worth the drive to Tulare. Only open until 2:00 PM. They do have a special dinner that you need to book in advance and it sells out, this is done about once a month.

Avocado toast - ok when you look at it.. GRASSVILLE but... sooooo delish. The spouts are tasty (you might need to pick some off since can get a little empowering ) but sooo fresh. In general they use very very fresh ingredients and I need to ask them where they source their bread from since it's never stale/melts in your mouth! My mother in law opted for dessert only so she had a banana cream pie. The food came out in a very decent time. We were chatting so we felt that it came pretty quick. The Burger was crispy and juicy. We started by sharing the wedge salad. I am a blue cheese girl, and this blue cheese was BLUE CHEESE. Rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I could have happily made a meal out of that alone. We also ordered the calamari, which came with two dipping sauces. One was a sweet and sour-style nuoc cham sauce that was incredible. The other was a fresh, flavorful tartar sauce. The calamari itself was prepared perfectly--light, crispy, not oily at all, and cooked just right. For dinner, I had the pistachio-crusted salmon over vegetable quinoa. The salmon was excellent. The quinoa was good, but probably just not my personal style. My husband ordered the pork chop with polenta, and wow--both were fantastic. That polenta was especially memorable. We sat at a table in the bar area (that's our vibe), and we had the pleasure of being served by Orlando, a newer bartender. He was outstanding. From the moment we sat down, we felt welcomed and genuinely taken care of. He introduced us to a mezcal that complemented our meals perfectly and was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Top-notch customer service. This isn't an inexpensive everyday dinner spot, but the quality of the food, drinks, and service made it absolutely worth it. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back. If you haven't been to Braised lately, go check it out--and if you're lucky enough to have Orlando take care of you, you're in for a great evening.
