What a gem to find. Semi-fast food, but with farm fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The food is made fresh, so it is adaptable to needs. I wish there were more places like this, particularly further east. Keep expanding Farmer Boys! Went in for some famous fried zucchini and ended being served limp and dull tasting zucchini that looked like it had been fried 3 days ago and no one wanted. The hamburger avocado cheeseburger is the only reason I am giving this two stars, because it was simply okay and not awful like the zucchini spears. I wanted my usual half Dr Pepper half Pepsi and I ended getting some sort of water down concoction that had no flavor. Our family eats here quite often. The burgers, zucchini fries, and shakes are good. It's nice to have a different place to eat a burger rather than the normal fast food places around town. On this particular occasion, I hadn't eat all day and we stopped for a late lunch. I had looked ahead and wanted to try the bacon avocado burger. After telling my order to the cashier, she said "oh, the veggie burger?" to which I replied, "no, the bacon avocado burger meal" and pointed to it on the board to which she affirmed my order. The rest of my party ordered. One item was a tuna sandwich and he asked for it to not have cheese and to not melt it (preferred cold). Our orders came out, and they did not have the tuna sandwich right - it was melted with cheese but we didn't say anything since we were hungry and in a hurry. My order came out as a regular cheeseburger meal and I said I ordered the bacon avocado burger. This cashier said something to the effect of that wasn't on our order and went back to the kitchen. Then, a manager came out and said "the bacon avocado burger costs more," but no apology for the error or anything. I was pretty irritated and informed her that I told my order to the cashier twice and she confirmed it. I ended up telling her to just bring what they made because I didn't have time to wait any longer and was frustrated with the service. This was an unfortunate experience, and I'm not sure why it was so difficult. The food is decent, the restaurant stays busy, and it is generally clean. One person in my party said this location always messes up orders. Hopefully, next time things go a little smoother because we left disappointed. read more

We decided to give it another try. The littlest one wanted a hamburger, fries and a shake....the trinity of unhealthy food. She went with a cheeseburger, fries and cookies and cream shake. She's nine and as tiny as they come, but she orders off the adult menu and eats like a high school football team. She ate every bit and said it was delicious. I have seen people say the fries were greasy, but hers were not, in fact we all commented on how nothing was greasy. My mom had the patty melt. She said it was good. The bread was crisped to a nice golden brown and what she was most impressed with was that it wasn't greasy at all. My husband and I both had a natural burger, the bacon avocado burger and a half and half side of zucchini and onion rings. (You can choose your side and even do two different ones half/half) The avocado on the burger is not fresh slices, it is more of a guacamole. We both enjoyed are burgers very much. Not wanting to be repetitive, but they were not greasy and very fresh tasting. The zucchini is done in large spears and freshly breaded and fried. Yum. The onion rings are huge. The service was very friendly and there was a reasonable wait for my order. Everything was fresh and tasted good. I had the Natural Avocado Bacon Burger which was VERY delicious and I recommend it though it is a bit pricey at over $8 with tax. The sides are HUGE but reasonably priced at under $3 each before tax. I got two sides: The Fried Zucchini (they give you a whole zucchini cut into 1/4s) and the Onion Rings (they are cut very thick but you get only about four rings). The breading on the sides is tasty but is also too thin and doesn't stay on the vegetables which continue to steam heat the breading making it a bit soggy almost right away and falls off the vegetables in patches. I would like the sides much better if they had a thicker breading so it would keep crunchy and stay on the vegetables. The sides come with ranch dressing which is also very tasty. read more

I loose a big portion of my egg as do not like burnt egg. So only a 3 star as the b'fast was good except for the eggs. And egg is the b'fast. It's pretty bland and nothing pops out to you when you look over the menu. The one thing on their menu that I do enjoy is their fried Zucchini! Its not little wedges of Zucchini either!! I had never heard of this place til a year or so ago. Whenever I go to Disneyland, I pass right by Tulare . Farmer boys pretty much has everything, but I tend to stick to the fish and chips because it is so yummy. I've been here twice and both times it has been crowded. They have lots of meal deals from burgers to clam chowder in a bowl. The place is clean and they deliver the food right to your table after ordering up at the counter. The food there is decent, but certainly not worthy of the overinflated prices they charge. I love Farmer Boys and ALWAYS have a good experience except yesterday. I got my husband Cobb Salad as always but once I got home to give it to him he tried eating it and the ranch was sour and tasted spoiled. I tasted it and it was definitely sour and gross. Maybe next time I'll taste it before ruining an entire salad. read more

Corporate should really take the time to review ads. If an ad says upgrade ANY combo to chili cheese fries for a $1 then it should specify that by combo they mean the burger combos. We got a breakfast combo and believed we could upgrade to chili fries like the ad says. When bringing this up to the manager Devon she rudely said there's nothing she can do, and didn't even bother making the situation better. I have customer service experience the customer should always be taken care of and walk away knowing the situation was fixed. The ad promotes false advertising. I go often (2-3 per week) with a co-worker and decided to order something different than their Cobb Salad. As they say "When you really want something bad it generally taste like s,,, or a mistake with your order. Well on this particular day, I decided to order the Chicken Strips and Fries with a Side of Ranch Dressing, when I started to enjoy my food (or what I thought I would) a found a Long Blonde hair in my dressing. I then brought it to the attention of both the girl at the counter, the girl in drive thru, and all I got was "oh were so sorry about that!".
