    Redeeming free 4pc Zucchini Sticks
    Anthony V.

Came last night for the free 4 piece fried zucchini stick combo! I thought it was just average. I was expecting more flavor since it was fried but felt the batter lacked seasoning. If it wasn't for the ranch did I feel like it would have tasted bland. Fried zucchini stick without ranch is 5/10, with ranch is a 7/10. I've been to this farmer boys many times and the customer service is always top notch. The staff is very attentive and friendly. It's also quite empty pretty often despite there being so many seats inside. Ambiance is quiet. Good place to come if you want to eat alone in peace!

    The Bacon Turkey Melt

The Bacon Turkey Melt It looked good, but it made me disappointed. The salt levels were quite high, giving it a strong, bitter aftertaste. I couldn't finish it.

First time here to try the burger and it's so good. The ingredients are fresh. The portion is large. The staff is friendly and the service is great. The lobby and dining area is clean. One of great options for lunch or dinner

    Half cooked egg

The lady at the speaker sounded annoyed of her job already, I don't want to wake up and get breakfast and be greeted with a mood. Not a good way to start a day. But my main issue is the eggs. I told her multiple times please well done sunny side eggs. This egg is half cooked. They gave me this BS and forgot my toast, for $15.24 I expected a lot more. Very disappointed and a waste of money. Thanks for nothing. Never eating farmer boys again

Honestly it was a solid burgers wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. The meat was cooked perfectly, the veggies were nice and fresh, the taste was on point, can't really complain. The fries were nice and crispy, the ranch was very good. The people working here were very nice and polite. The place and clean but the bathrooms need some cleaning. Stop by if you're in the area.

This is the first time I tried Farmers Boy. Pulled multiple hairs from our burger. This is just unacceptable ): I'd suggest hair nets.

Food could approve! Hash-browns are raw. If you request them well done they are still raw. Manager Jessica had us wait 7 minutes in front of the store. I got home and same hash browns that are always raw. When I called and asked for Jessica, a regular employee tried to impersonate Jessica. When she realized how upset I was she told me to hold on and went and got Jessica. Jessica got on phone and advised they can't cook them anymore and she packed the order. This happens all the time and I have had to take them back and they cook them more. Jessica stated no one ever complains about the hash browns. This is why they have a 3. Well I have now learned my lesson. I will not go back!

They took forever to give my food drive-through They also didn't give me no ranch I was upset when I got home because I love there Ranch

Food was good, but they took too long to give me my food and drive-through I was upset because they didn't give me no ranch.

The sour dough toast wasn't a true sour dough. It tasted like white bread. Service was a 10 . Mau was friendly and kept checking to see if we needed anything. He usually works at the orange location, I know because I liked his service so well that I asked him. I loved the upbeat music which made for a relaxing leisurely breakfast. It was very clean inside. Bathroom was a plus. It was very clean. No nasty smells or dirty toilet or funky smells. Which is rare. My friend ordered the chorizo and eggs and When the food arrived, my friend didn't realize her meal contained jalapeños. She hadn't noticed they were listed on the menu, and while it was an honest oversight, we politely asked if it would be possible to remake the dish without them, and the server agreed to take it back. When she came back, she asked if we wanted the original plate boxed up because they didn't want it to go to waste. We explained that we weren't going to eat it because of the jalapeños, but after being asked again, we agreed to take it with us so it wouldn't be wasted. When it was time to pay, we were shocked to find out we had been charged for both meals. At no point did anyone tell us that remaking the plate meant we'd be paying for two plates. Had we known, we never would have agreed to reorder it and we tried leaving the to go box too. When I politely questioned the charge, the employee told us that my friend "could have just picked the jalapeños off like other people do." That response was disappointing and dismissive, especially since they had already agreed to remake the meal. I asked to speak with a manager, but was told there wasn't one available and that nothing could be done. There was no apology for the miscommunication or any effort to make things right. I've worked in hospitality, so I understand that mistakes happen. That's why I remained polite throughout the interaction. But hospitality is about communication and how you handle those mistakes, and unfortunately that was missing here. What should have been an enjoyable breakfast ended with us leaving frustrated.

I am so glad we chose Hide Out Cafe in Rowland Heights to have our celebration. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly, and the cafe is so cozy and welcoming. My brother was sponsoring our meal since he couldn't make it, so of course we had to go all out and order two drinks and two main dishes. (Thank you, big brother)! I got the Boba Bear Set $8.50, which comes with a drink and two house-made cookies, and my mom got their Tiramisu Latte $7.00, which is heavy on the coffee liquor, to be honest, but we had fun with it. The drinks are crafted beautifully, and with the open cafe concept, you can see they pay attention to the small details of their crafted drink menu. The house-made cookies that were a part of my Boba Bear Set are not to be forgotten. The cookies are buttery, decadent, and delicious; they are the perfect tea cookies to pair with! I can't wait to go back and try more of their fun drinks and maybe bring a study book the next time. For our main dishes, we shared the Chimi Wagyu & Frites $35.00, and the Fresh Avocado Toast $19.00. We both love eggs so of course we had to get something with eggs in our dish. My mom loved her avocado toast, and they were very generous with the avocado as well on there. The salad is a definite hit with us and included a great dressing on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly on top of our toast and steak. The frites with my steak were crispy and seasoned well. I also loved the chimi sauce with my steak as well. The portion was huge so we were able to take some back home to enjoy another day. Overall, my mom and I had a great experience and would absolutely come back for another sip of their lattes and try another fun drink on their menu. We left with happy smiles and full stomachs, and can't wait to come back soon.

So do with that as you will. Locals must think this is good food. Located in a tiny corner strip mall on a desolate street is this little breakfast/brunch place. I wish I had listened to the 1 star reviews and not gone in. I especially wish I had seen that Yelp had their health listing rated at C before I ordered. Isn't it the law that a restaurant must display their health rating in the window, cause it wasn't displayed anywhere to be seen. So first they brought out a large jug of water with some fruit slices and mint in it. Would've been nice if the water wasn't room temperature. Is the ice machine not working? Then came the best part of the entire meal - my hazelnut latte. The coffee was good and the cup is gigantic. My teen had the french toast, eggs (scrambled), and bacon plate. The one slice of french toast was okay but nothing special. The eggs were bland and lacking any seasoning including salt and pepper. The bacon, of which I got a side for myself, too, was absolutely disgusting. At first I thought the bacon had been cooked possibly on a dirty grill in old grease or right after something else had been cooked, as it had a horrendous aftertaste like rotten meat and sweaty gym socks. They made a new plate but this one was raw, despite being ordered well done and crispy. Raw. And it absolutely stunk. That was when I came to think it might be uncured pork belly like you get a Korean KBBQ and not bacon at all. Luckily they cancelled the order. I also got a side of the breakfast (rosemary) potatoes, which I also ordered crispy and well done but arrived as a scoop of mush. They tasted okay but I saw crispy potatoes at numerous other tables. Don't know why they couldn't cook as ordered. I also had the dutch baby. I'm sorry but this is a dessert bread pudding and not a real dutch baby pancake. The inside should be airy and fluffy, not sopping wet. I'm not sure if the inside was undercooked and possibly raw dough or if they make it with some sweetened cream inside. It was not good, and it was way too sweet. Instant diabetes sweet. I will never go back. I strongly recommend that all people stay as far away as possible. The service was good - friendly and attentive, but what good is that when the food is so awful? I also had severe stabbing pains in my stomach for a couple hours after getting home. Avoid at all costs!
