Went there on Thursday for dinner. Had the ribs. Food was ok. Outdated chairs and tables. Service however was not good. We unfortunately had a tall blonde server who was standing around talking with her coworkers complaining that she got a speeding ticket. She was not friendly at all when taking out order. She also was yelling at her coworker that was helping her. She actually yelled in the restaurant "Monique did you hear what I said? And Monique said yes, then she yelled "then answer me when I'm talking to you" Sooo disrespectful! She's lucky that I already gave her a good tip. Otherwise I would have taken it and given it to Monique. Don't think I'll be back. Too much negativity at this place. read more

Great food! They give hearty size servings. Small area but decorated very cute. Had the ham and cheese omelette which was amazing!

I love this place. It's worth the 15 min drive. Everything here is good and lots of portions. I would highly recommend.

Terrific breakfast. Huge plates of food. Super clean restaurant. Waiter was extremely kind and helpful and you can tell he enjoyed his job. Was hard to find parking at first but that's usually a good sign. My hubby couldn't even finish his plate they give u soo much food. Will certainly recommend and give 5 stars. . This is the BEST place to come and eat a great classic American breakfast! The atmosphere fits perfect with the with the farm fresh food. The staff is friendly, food is delecious, portions are big, and the prices are just right. I was really excited to eat here based off the previous reviews and the history of the place. My husband and I go out to breakfast every Sunday so this was the place we chose for this week. We ate over 4 hours ago and I'm still disappointed. Service was so-so. We should have known about the food when we asked our server how the food is and she sort of shrugged and said, "it's ok." My omelette was decent, but covered in two pieces of processed cheese that turned white when I put tabasco on it. After eating a few bites I saw something on my plate near the eggs and when I lifted the omelette...sure enough it was a short, beard-like, hair. I would have complained, but no one ever came back to our table. I couldn't stomach eating any more. The potatoes were pretty dried out and as far as portions go...I'd say mediocre. My husband orders chicken fried steak every Sunday wherever we go. Farmer's Den had by far THE WORST. It was a prefab patty that looked nothing like beef inside and had to have been previously frozen. It was a perfect oval shape and looked as if they simply threw it in a deep fryer and covered it in gravy. The best part of the meal was his english muffin topped with orange marmalade. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. I'm so sad, because we wanted to love the place. The location is amazing the place is so cute inside, but the food doesn't feel homestyle at all...which is how breakfast should be. We won't go back...what's the point? Food is great and simple doesn't seem like they have soups anymore just a heads up I asked for one today and they said they didn't have that which I was baffled since it was on the menu. Very affordable prices if you keep it light even with large portions it can range the total to come out to 19 to 25 dollars not bad for 3 people. Our waitress was nice but a bit forgetful she forgot our silverware and the keptchup, quite nice but we had to remind her to bring us those items to be able to eat unless eating with our hands is what we planned but no it wasn't hahaha read more

Came here for lunch and was not disappointed. Food is wonderful along with delightful staff. It is extremely busy but that's just further proof of a good restaurant. I look forward to coming here again and trying more menu items as everything that came out of the kitchen looks delicious! Racism not deterred in this eatery. I went there last week with co-workers for a team building breakfast. I was the first person in my group to walk in. A group of elderly white men looked at me, laughed, and then one of them yelled out "this restaurant is not open to you young lady", and then they all laughed. As an African-American, I found the comment offensive and shocking. The waitress, should have asked them to leave or said something to them about their behavior, instead, she told me " they say that to everybody". My co-workers all white told me that the men did not make the comment to them when they entered the restaurant. Truly, this type of racism is the kind my grandparents and aunts told me about, but to experience in 2018 is sad and shocking. Our group team will not eat at the Farmers Den ever again. read more

So I have been coming here for a few years now I've enjoyed there breakfast a few times but mostly love the dinners on Thursday nights but this all took a turn when the other day me and a couple of friends got together for breakfast and we were sitting in the room right across from the serving window where I could see all the servers and the cooks. everything was going well service from the young lady serving us was great the other servers as well they all helped together to get us what we needed just like every other time we have been in once we go our food there was one thing forgotten we politely asked and the server assured us she would get it for us after she walked out she went to the serving window I was watching the conversation between her and the cook and from what I seen the cook was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to her pointing at her and scolding her grabbing the food ticket pointing at it tossed it back Dow just like I have never seen before it honestly made me sick to my stomach and enough for me to not respect the way the servers are treated nobody should be treated that way I don't care who you are or why you think you could treat them like this but a business is about working together not belittling employees very disappointing so for there food it's great and service is great but for the cook I have no idea but horrible service on his part read more
