This place has good pizza and I absolutely love the crust. But they get one star for truly horrid service. Our order, which took eternity to get, was delivered to another table, the people at said table started to grab slices of pizza from the pan when the server grabbed it from them and then tried to give it to us. Our server, Haley, must be new to being a server because she constantly forgot to bring us things we requested, never checked back in with us (leaving it up to us to hunt someone down to get our items) and over charged us. Good pizza crust isn't worth the hassle of this place. If I may make a suggestion to management... place your inexperienced staff in lesser desired areas with fewer tables. read more

A bit overpriced but I mean it's by the waterfront so of course prices gon be a bit higher. House Margarita is great and strong and so are their mojitos. came in on a tuesday afternoon around 12-1pm, wasn't busy. i LOVE the food here but the service is not the best. i had kaityln and her demeanor was terrible and never once checked up on us if we needed refills or anything. she only checked up on us ONCE and that's because she just sat a table right behind us, if that wasn't the case..we would've never saw her again. Host was TERRIBLE. Came here on Saturday evening and expected a wait time, the place is always busy. The host said it would be about 20 minutes, great that was better than we expected for a party of 4. After about 25 minutes there are 7 tables open in the resturant and now a lobby filled with people. She starts seating people but kept skipping over us. After about 4 tables were sat, my mother went up to the host and asked if we were next as she was seating people below us on the list. The host YELLED (I am no kidding) that you need to "stop yelling at me, can't you see I am busy and I don't need you yelling at me" My mother is NOT a person who raises her voice or makes any kind of display in public......I was blown away at how terrible we were treated. We had a horrible experience with the wait. We were told by the hostess Jenna that the wait was gonna be 20 to 25 minutes if you want to sit outside which we had requested for but if not, we can get a table immediately inside the restaurant. Then I asked how long is the wait for upstairs outside and she said 25 to 30 minutes. So we waited for 38 minutes and we came back to her and asked and she called upstairs and said that it's gonna take longer about another 15 to 20 minutes. And so I took the kids to the playground nearby at the waterfront for another 25 minutes and when we came back about an hour later from the initial check in time, the table was not yet ready so we sat in the lobby again and waited some more and I asked Jenna why did you tell us 20 to 25 minutes when it's over an hour now...And she said that people tend to take longer sitting outside upstairs. And so I asked her if you knew that, then, why didn't you give us a better estimate so that we could have decided an hour ago when we came in. No answer. The kids were hungry and grandma was hungry as well. Everybody was hungry. And then later... at 1 hour and 23 minutes.... the text on the phone said our table was ready and we went upstairs and was given menus to hand carry , not sure if this is what they usually do... I thought they seat you and hand you the menus. And then we ordered the food, and it took a while for the pizza and kids meals to come out probably because they had a busy day. In addition, there were no balloons which were supposed to be included with the kids meals and the staff said they were out for sometime because they did not have the helium. Anyhow, the thin crust pizza was soggy. The bottom was not crispy like I had expected but we ate anyways because we were all hungry and overall it was OK. We all thought that MOD pizza and Fat Zach's does a better job at baking for a crispy bottom thin crust pizza. And for having to wait for almost an 1 1/2 hours before we were seated for when they had told us 25 to 30 minutes, we were never offered any complementary or gift cards for our next visit. I did not ask because I think that in situations like this, the customer doesn't need to ask, but it's more of a proactive step on the business side to do that. Lastly, to make things worse, because the wait took so long our voucher for parking had expired before I had finished the pizza and had to leave the family at the table to go out to the car about 10-15 minutes before they had finished eating because the parking validation only allows one 2-her QR code scan parking per license plate, and because we waited for so long it had expired before we finished eating. Of note: before we arrived to check in at this pizza place, we had previous 2 hour parking voucher from another business vendor, and it was about to expire half an hour into our checking at this place and so from the time we checked in and from the time we were seated and finished eating it was more than two hours so this is in case some of you were wondering why the two hour parking validation expired 10 to 15 minutes before he finished eating and that is the reason why we had some other meds from another business that we visited before going to this one. We had 2 parking vouchers total. It was a big inconvenience from start to finish and this is just to let those of you who read this to be aware of the service that we got this day and were not acknowledged with any complementary or gift cards. We still gave the staff an 18% tip because they worked hard on a busy day and we felt that they had nothing to do with the hostess error in giving us misinformation about the wait times. read more

I haven't been here in almost 2 years and so I was excited to order their Mama's Signature Salad for pick up/take out. I also purchased a kid salad with the same dressing. This is a partial review...because we came here to get some munchies and drinks.. not to eat pizza or dinner. However, this review is going to be about service only. Pathetic and non-existent. Thats what you call the service here. Took forever to get a server to come over and get our drink order. Then took forever to get the drinks. I think they made my milk shake and went out to milk the cow and pasteurize the milk before they made the milk shake because it came out last. By the time we got my drink, the three others were done with their drink and wanted another. No server in sight. About 20 minutes later everyone had their second drink and I was done so we wanted to pay. No server again. Yeah, it was a Saturday night but it wasn't that late yet and it wasn't THAT busy. No clue what the deal was but really the worst service I've ever encountered. Outdoor deck is nice though was chilly - however we would never sit there again since we hardly got any service. Don't waste your time. I had to ask for a waiter after being ignored for 15 minutes. I saw my food sit in the window for over 5 minutes before they brought it out to me and my grand daughter. My wife's came several minutes later. Wife was VERY specific on having a Gluten allergy. Half way thru her fettuccine Alfredo she finds normal noodles mixed in with her rice noodles. They did replace it with nachos because we didn't want to wait for another order of noodles. The plain chips were the best part of the nachos. I've been to the Farrelli's on 6th a couple of times and liked the pizzas that I got there. On Memorial Day weekend I walked from one end of the Ruston Waterfront to the other, starting at Chinese Reconciliation Park to the development. It was very pleasant. I knew there was a Farrelli's at Point Ruston but didn't get a chance to go in and have a meal up until now. I still had to walk back to Chinese Reconciliation Park where my car was and I decided that a pizza wasn't exactly what I wanted for a walk of that length. So when I went in I was looking at things on the more lighter side and their happy hour menu was just perfect and just what I was looking for. I had a very good salmon chowder off of the menu as well as a side salad which was also a happy hour option and the portions were just right. To wash it down I had the black tea mango iced tea which was very refreshing. I enjoyed these lighter side menu options and will be worthy of future reference as the summer proceeds and lighter meals are more desired due to the heat. read more

I've only been here twice but I like this location a lot! Me boyfriend and I have only sat in the bar area. The service is slow at first but once they notice you (doesn't take long) then you receive menus and great service! We got the hot & tangy baked chicken wings (12) as an appetizer then a 12" margherita pizza. Both were the perfect amount for 2 people. I think this will become one of our go to spots for pizza! I like this location, it is right in the heart of the Ruston Waterfront so this location is always a favorite... The price isn't terrible, so far they don't gouge you for a demanded gratuity. The service here is very good, it is a great place to take kids, parking is validated, and food is as all Ferrelli's very good. But let's be honest too: this location could be an establishment that served disgusting Coke products and Seafood only to be topped off with horribleservice that just absolutely sucked and I would stomach all of that just for that view across the fountains to look out over the sound. read more

Yet, we could count about 6-7 waiters walking by having conversations, smiling and laughing. Two waiters walked by and I got their attention. I was told they would have to cash us out to move us, and to just ask our server. Two tables opened up, I asked our server to move us and was told I needed to be put on a list. The host never mentioned a list, and obviously didn't add us. We hadn't even received our drinks yet. The server blamed it on him being new and told us others were ahead of us on the "list". At the very least, they could have turned on the heaters in the shaded areas. We weren't even given napkins. I would have happily waited five minutes for a table in the sun. We are now loyal to the Ruston location after receiving consistently great food and service. Nathaniel is our favorite waiter for Monday night with the fam, when kids eat free and Alex takes great care of us when we can enjoy an adult meal in the bar.
