We had an explosion of rats this spring and I needed a pest control expert stat to help me evaluate and contain the problem. We have a contract with Earthwise but it was going to take them a week to send someone out so I called around to the local Pest Control companies I found on Yelp. Grant let me know ahead of time he was coming so I was prepared. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He evaluated the situation and spent 45 minutes going over my options with me. In the end a lot of what could be done was dependent on me purchasing products myself and doing work but I felt a lot more confident about what to do and how to proceed. His information was extremely valuable and he didn't even charge me for the visit! Several weeks later and the rats are far fewer in number. Update on All Clear Pest Control. Pro: friendly, prompt response Con: once you agree to the contract, they call you the day before to tell you what time they're coming. Sometimes that doesn't work for you! The last time they called me, I cancelled. However they still showed up. We weren't home but I caught them on the camera. I immediately called them, they acknowledged my cancellation but still showed up! They only got to spray the front door area. They ended up leaving AND billing me the FULL regular amount. Needless to say, I terminated our contract. Had they not charged me, I possibly would've stayed with them. But charging me the full amount, after I cancelled timely and only spraying the front door area is wrong and unprofessional! read more

We discovered All Clear Pest Control after another company failed us miserably. (Fast Action Pest Control) Our home was being painted a few months ago, and it turned out we had a major wasp issue under our ceramic roof tiles. The last thing we needed was painters falling off of ladders10 to 16 feet off the ground. Since the other company's treatment was so horribly ineffective and they wouldn't come back out, I quickly searched for someone new. I called and left a message for All Clear, and the owner Grant called me back shortly after. He assured me he could deal with our wasp issue in short order so our painters would be safe. All Clear was a bit more expensive, but we already weren't getting what we were paying for from the other company, so the few extra bucks was a no brainer. The old saying, "sometimes you get what you pay for" comes to mind. Grant discounted for us what he could and we signed up for the 12 month service. Grant came out for us personally the very next day which was on a Saturday (his day off) because of the urgency of our situation. True to his word, the wasps were eliminated by the next day and we've had zero pest issues of any kind ever since. Oh yeah, the other company even failed us on ants too! We just love it when the little guy can beat the crap out of the bigger guy as is the case here! Between the two companies, there is absolutely no comparison. So he was able to come out same day, and perform the initial service right there, I was very impressed with is professionalism and straightforward demeanor, he was quite patient and answering questions, and he showed up with all the right equipment, truck looking very clean and professional.
