For those of you in Sacramento, Fast Action Pest Control is one of the shadiest companies to deal with. I highly advise you steer clear of them. They sold me on their service, claiming they would spend 20-30 minutes each visit (bi-monthly) completing service. After three visits in a row where the technician spent less than 10 minutes there and not even spraying an entire side of our house, and after two complaints where they did nothing, I called to cancel my service. Of course I wanted my service cancelation waived because they never even sprayed my whole house. They simply stated "We do not waive cancellation fees." So these guys can literally not service your house, then still charge you a cancellation fee. Watch out, shady shady business. EDIT: This guy says he has no record of me in his system, attached is my cancelation email from April 10th (4 days ago). I also have an appointment on Wednesday to talk to a supervisor. Yet I am not in the system? I will not be calling that phone number because the "on-site manager" i spoke to was not helpful at all. read more

I have been a long time customer of this company for almost 7 years. We have never had an issue until recently. We are signed up for their monthly outdoor bug spray service and Naomi has been our technician for almost 4 years and really liked her. However we recently had a very strange encounter where her supervisor (Alex) came out to our house and stated he received a complaint from his employee (Naomi) stating that she thinks we are hosing down our yard after she sprays. This is THE MOST ABSURD AND RIDICULOUS accusation Ive ever heard. Why would a customer pay a monthly fee, to then go outside and hose down and wash away the product? We have never complained or had any issues with bugs and it goes without saying that we WOULD NEVER DO THIS. When I asked Alex why Naomi thinks we are doing this, he said he didnt know. Recommendation to management: think before contacting a loyal customer to piss them off and make absurd accusations from an employee. This whole experience was extremely odd and seemed like quite paranoid behavior on behalf of the employee. The sales guy was so rude and condescending that I felt the need to make a review about it. The sales guy, Easton, came to our house twice yesterday; once around 3pm (kiddo nap time) and stayed on our porch for about a minute with multiple knocks, once at 8:05PM (kiddo bedtime). I spoke to him through our Ring camera and he said he didn't want to be there as much as I didn't want him there. It's like multiple knocks and doorbell rings at 8pm cause chaos with barking dogs and wake up the baby!! He would not take no for an answer and wouldn't leave. I told him I wasn't interested in a pest service and to have a good night. He still tried to convince me he was saving the kids and pets from spiders and other bugs. I told him he needed to leave and he STILL kept talking and asked if he could leave his business card. No forethought. Just tone deaf when I told him he woke up the dogs and the baby. Beware of this company! Despite soliciting sign clearly posted on my front door, the sales associate continued to come to my door, till finally one day I answered it. I pointed out that there was a no soliciting sign, and he made a joke that he didn't care about those and only when it said baby sleeping. Despite my frustration, I heard him out and allowed him to give his sales speech. He claimed that multiple people on my street were customers of theirs only to find out that was not the case.. I take total responsibility for signing up with these people, it seemed like it would be one less task on my list of things to do. As the salesman pointed out.. Despite treatment, my bug problem got worse. They would show up unannounced, despite knowing I have dogs, and that was a major issue of mine. They did call me one day and I was able to rush home. They were only at my house for maybe 10 to 15 minutes spraying.. My bug problem continued to get worse! I called the said the service was horrible. My bugs were getting far worse, and that I did not have this problem when I treated it myself. They said they were gonna send somebody out to spray again, which they said happened, but it never did never triggered my cameras. I told them in November I wanted to cancel my subscription via ... They sent me a bill in February, I called the again, they said they never heard from me. When I pointed out text messages and emails they said oh you never paid the cancellation fee. Upon reviewing all of my bills, I noticed that they only used no more than 2 1/2 gallons of diluted solution. The claims that they spray my entire outer property along the fence line, all of my grass and bushes, the outer perimeter of my , all of my ... HOW IN THE HECK DO THEY SPRAY ALL OF THOSE AREAS ON ONLY 2 1/2 GALLONS OF DILUTED SOLUTION???? NO WONDER MY BUG PROBLEM GOT WORSE! The office staff refused to communicate, other than insisting I pay a cancellation fee of $149. I asked to speak with the owner, they refuse to. Now they are taking me to collections! This resulted in a bug infestation affecting not only myself, but my children and my pets! THIS COMPANY HAS NO DESIRE TO EVEN ATTEMPT TO RECONCILE THIER TERRIBLE BUSINESS SERVICES. read more

Persistence doesn't pay off...he kept mentioning it then he pulled up the company name saying 3700 or so 5 star reviews. I said that's good. He said if you leave us a 5 star review after the first visit as we're trying to get all the neighbors done in the area today I'll knock it down to 49 today and 49 each month thereafter ... well... he just told me how they "essentially" pay for their 5 star reviews. I've had a great overall experience with Fast action pest control since I bought my new construction home in 2022. I've been with them ever since with no real complaints. I live next to the vines in Lodi so there is a lot of bugs. I will see dead cockroaches at the foundation of my house. Which tells me what they spray really does work. The critters try to gain entry and they die. It makes me feel like I'm getting my moneys worth and that makes me happy. This review is primarily for Eric Lewis Martin who performed my service yesterday. I wasn't home-but I was keen to a very large wasp nest on my eaves. (Big enough I wouldn't have been mad if he said you need outside help) I went outside this morning with poison in hand to fight the wasps. But he fought my fight for me. If I could give zero stars I would. I never used Fast Action nor do I intend to because of the uncomfortable interactions I've had with one of their sales people. I was working in my garage when one of them came up and tried to talk to me. He tried to tell me they were in the area doing pest control and he would like to service my home. He attempted to enter and I stopped him immediately. I asked if he was sent by the HOA or housing development I lived in and he said no. I told him I wasn't comfortable with anyone surveying my home without my husband present. He continued to name drop people I didn't know and told me he did the houses behind me. ...here's the kicker. THERE ARE NO HOUSES BEHIND ME. This man not only showed up the next day with my husband telling him he wasn't interested, he also showed up two days later, rang the doorbell and knocked on my door. My partner and I have reviewed camera footage of this sales person. He has no respect for our house, our neighbors, and he goes door to door in a very sneaky manner. I normally wouldn't leave a review like this, but the level of disregard shown today deserves to be called out. A service crew parked directly in front of my driveway, completely blocking it ,even though they were clearly working at a different house down the street. I was not the one receiving the service. When I came outside to leave for an appointment, one of the workers stood there and just stared at me as I approached my car, never offering to move the vehicle or even acknowledge the issue. Instead I had to deal with the inconvenience of pulling out of my own driveway, at an incredibly awkward angle (I was parked in the far left spot of the right house pictured). It's incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional to block someone's driveway, especially when you're not even providing them with a service. Basic courtesy goes a long way. Scripted responses for sure. 3) Name dropped a next door neighbor as a client dropping their long term service - bad call since 1 text proved this was a lie. 4) LOCAL service provider? The employees were pushy, rude and dismissive of the me and my wife telling them we were not interested in your service. Please train your employees on how to be professional and respectful. DON'T GET SCAMMED!!! YOUR BEING LOCKED INTO THIS CONTRACT FOR A YEAR EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T LIKE THE SERVICE!!! Fast action is nothing but a scam. They will send a sales Rep to your house to sell you their service but the sales Rep will not disclose to you that they are trapping you into a contract for a year once you sign. They offer to come to your house the very next day to do the service knowing that the clause that they have in their contract only allows us to cancel this service and get out of their contract three days before the service is performed. They charged my neighbors different prices as well. The guy who showed up to my house to do the service didn't even touch the garage I have pictures and videos of cobwebs and spider egg sacs all through the garage and when you walk out the front of my house and look up you can still see cobwebs in the eaves. Just off that alone I told them I wanted to cancel the service and didn't want anyone back at my house. They told me they were still going to charge me the cancelation fee by sending it to a creditor after so many days of them not getting the payment from my bank. Your customer service reps over the phone Need more training... because it makes no sense that your sales reps don't tell your customers that we have a three-day window to cancel your service... Because they know if they don't tell us that and they schedule us within the next three days then that void's out the clause in the contract where we can cancel the contract three days before service without being charged a cancelation fee. IF YOU HAVE TO USE THEIR SERVICE (I hope you don't) DO NOT SCHEDULE WITH THEM FOR AT LEAST A WEEK ONCE THEY COME TO YOUR DOOR BECAUSE IF YOU DO... THAT VOIDS OUT THE 3 DAY CLAUSE IN THEIR CONTRACT THAT YOU HAVE TO CANCEL THEIR SERVICE BEFORE THEY SHOW UP TO DO THE SERVICE. Door to door sales got me. I answered my door to a solicitor, who was very friendly, which ultimately led to me signing up for what I thought was a "one time" $25 service. I was charged $60 today for a service that I didn't even receive. Now I'm being charged bi-monthly and have to pay a $175 fee to cancel a contract I didn't realize I signed up for. Hidden fees and no courtesy to waive the cancellation fee. Extremely disappointing. Highly recommend just buying a can of RAID. It will save you money and the head ache of dealing with Fast Action Pest Control who literally steals your money. Fast at taking your money and not even doing the job. Unreal. read more

Warning - Do Not work with this company! I should have known, as they sent a door-to-door salesman to get my business. But he was polite and friendly and seemed like a good guy. I signed up for a bi-monthly pest control service with them for an ant issue. The salesman said I could cancel at any time, but we ask that you give it at least 6 months. I gave the service 7 months. My any problem never got better, but never got worse. They didn't do any harm to my house, but also did not help. It was like they never came. So, after I gave it four visits, (7 months as they came every other month) I decided to cancel. That is when the issues started! They said I signed a yearlong contract. I said I didn't, and explained what the salesman said to me, thinking at the very least they would understand their salesman was clearly dishonest, and let me out of this "supposed" yearlong contract. Nope. They sent me a copy of what I signed, which looked nothing like the tablet version I signed. I admit, my bad for rushing through a contract and believing what a door-to-door salesman told me. But, shame on them for: 1. Lying to me about a contract 2. Having a tablet contract that looks different than the one I signed 3. Having a service that does not help with ant issues whatsoever 4. Not having the decency to allow me to stop the service, penalty free, after I genuinely gave it a try for 7 whole months. 5. Being incredibly rude to customers via email.
