From eradicating a persistent mouse/rat colony to removing numerous wasp nests and spraying for spiders and ants, they've always been courteous, professional and quick to respond. More recently, while doing some construction, we discovered traces of termite infestation. We've had a problem with squirrels invading our attic and our Spanish tile roof, so I called EcoTech based on their reviews. What ended up happening is that I basically paid $125 to have a guy come out and tell me "we don't do attics" and quoted me $170 for tree trimming. I told them on the phone that the attic was part of the problem, but apparently they have selective hearing. Huge waste of money. They should have been VERY upfront about that. read more

I will never use this company again after their owner yelled at me and told me to go ahead and give him a bad Yelp review. Here's the background: I gave Ecotech two years to fix a squirrel problem in my home (a squirrel living in my attic). After 2 years of numerous visits, some no-shows for their scheduled appointments, and $630 spent with them, all they did was check traps week after week and lay out the occasional peanut. Yet I still have a rodent getting into my attic and subfloor area. Two years into the issue they told me that squirrels are a protected species and they can't kill or relocate them. First, it would have been nice if they had notified me of that in January 2016 when they first came and not in January of 2018. Second, I discovered that you can apply for a permit to lethally remove them, so it's not entirely true that there's nothing they can do to kill or relocate these squirrels. Finally I called today to tell them that I was finished with them and would never recommend them to anyone else. Their owner Ryan was polite at first, asking about my history with the company and my frustrations. When I calmly laid out two years of rodents in my attic, money spent, no shows for appointments, and lack of follow up or urgency by his employees, he immediately started to argue with me. I was not expecting happy resolution, but I was also not expecting to be yelled at by someone who told me he was calling to help. I'm disappointed to say that I did not stay calm either, but am still in disbelief that instead of trying to listen and understand, he picked a fight. I told him I would give him a bad Yelp review and his response to me was: "I don't care--we have plenty of good ones." So Ryan, here's your bad Yelp review that you don't care about. If there were a way to give you 0 stars I would. You have lost at least one customer, and I will never use your company's services again, due to your consistent failure to resolve my rodent issues, but primarily due to the owner's extremely rude response. read more

I've had an ant problem for several weeks. I called eco-tech two weeks ago they sent Will out and he baited my house. The ants responded to the bait. It didn't work quite as well as expected so I called this morning and will was out again within an hour and put out a lot more bait. There are a ton of ants eating the bait and I hope this does the job. Eco-tech did respond quickly to my request and didn't seem at all phased by it. read more

Jose is very pleasant, easy to communicate with and very efficient. We are very pleased with Ecotech! They have gotten rid of rats and woodpeckers in our attic. They treat our pecan trees, which use to drip all kinds of sap onto our deck because of aphids. This also got rid of ants, which were attracted to the sap and aphids. read more

This summer we thought an animal was in our house. It disturbed us every night. It sounded like critters were partying in our attic. We guessed it was roof rats. I called a few exterminators and by very good fortune I picked Ecotech. They did not try to sell me extra services or a year contract, but gave me a reasonable fixed price. For $350 they agreed to set traps and empty them as long as it took to clear the rats from our home. They also included a plan for repair need to keep the rats out. It ended up taking about 6 visits to get all the rats and confirm they were gone. Because only one roof vent needed screening, he made the repair for free. Three months later our house is still rat free. No chemicals were used and they were friendly and courteous. I would definitely call Ecotech again. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I wish there were negative stars you could give, because 1 star is way to much for them. I had them come out to do normal pest control service and clean cobwebs from the eves. When they came out they did a crappie job of removing the cobwebs, half were still there and not even touched. A week later I still had bugs like nothing was even done. I called them back again, and it is hard to get ahold of anyone, they finally called me back a few days later, but couldn't come out for another 2 weeks. When they finally did come out, it was another bad job. I called and canceled service saying that your service has not helped at all. Then 6 months goes by and I get a call from them saying that I owe them money for service. I said I paid you when you came out the first time, and I canceled service. They claimed that they came to my house 4 times and I said no you didn't. I asked for exact dates. When they contacted me again, it was 3 dates. The last date they are trying to charge me for was saying that he met with me and my wife, but those dates we were out of town, and Ecotech never came to the house. So now they have a collections company coming after me for service they never performed, especially when I paid them for service that sucked and did not get. Serious con people. Stay away and use some professional, not a 2 man brother operation. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Ecotech like many of the other reviewers on Yelp. After I called them about our rat invasion problem, the nicest pest "specialist", Tony, arrived first thing in the morning and quickly figured out where to set the HUMANE traps...their policy is to come back weekly until the rodents are all in heaven. In between rodent discussions, Tony spoke lovingly of his three pet kitties which really was the icing on the cake, as far as I am concerned! They charge a flat, reasonable fee and I was so relieved not to lie awake waiting for the Nutcracker to start. A great company!!! read more

This is the second time that we've used Ecotech and I have found the people who do the work very friendly and effective. We have had a rat problem and Jose first did a check to find out where the rats had been in the house, and how they were getting in. Once he'd ascertained that, he set traps and checked them over a month's time to be sure that he wasn't sealing rats into our house. Then he blocked all areas where the rats were coming in.
