Exceptional service today (Friday afternoon) from Fast Glass! I had just a broken pane in my old wood frame window. They were able to do the job within the hour of my call (3 other LB businesses couldn't get to it until after the weekend) and they were charging $50 less than the other companies! Can't beat that. I am motivated to write this review as I am, and was completely blown away by the superior customer service I received. I called Fast Glass and there was no answer so I left a message. Shortly thereafter I get a call back from the owner. They were closed that day, but he agreed to meet me to make a couple kitchen cabinet replacement glass panels. This was a very small job and not an urgent need, but he was willing to help me regardless. He made a whole $9.00 for coming in when they were closed! On top of that, when I asked directions to the nearest post office his charming and gracious wife offered to give me some postage stamps. I researched other glass companies and Fast Glass was the most reasonable (1/2 the price of other shops) and fast, they owned up to their name... I was able to give them the measurements over the phone for a glass table top at noon and ready the same day, no waiting a week like other companies quoted me. I had clipped corners added to my table top they told me how to meaure the corners and when I did it wrong, they were able to figure out the correct measurements based on what I gave them. Amazing response. We had a broken window in a commercial building we manage on a Sunday morning. Saved my bacon! I cracked the glass in our 1950's Bel-Air door's window trying to persuade it open with a wood wedge. The wife wasn't very happy with me. wow. really? nothing like being lectured by a glass guy at 8am on your way to work after he was rude to your wife. what happened to "the customer is always right?" all i wanted was to order a new mirror, have the old broken one removed and the new one installed. i asked him to move the new mirror position up a few inches. I guess he didn't bring the stuff he needed to do the job or something but he ended up GOING OFF on me about it with some freaky glass guy stuff about how the railing would bend or had too many holes in it or something?? I guess he didn't bring a new one for the new mirror? anyway, so my mirror is now glued to the wall way too low so i can hardly see myself in it. thanks fast glass. and thanks for yelling at me too. that was fun read more

Needs to improve service. Called in morning about getting some glass and was told to call back to be sure someone was in the office when I was ready. A few hours later I called back and was told it was OK to come in 15 minutes. They gave me the address and even parking info (go through the lot of the Mexican restaurant next door). I was there in 15 minutes and no one was there! I called the number posted on their door and spoke to an impatient employee out-in-the-field who wanted nothing but to blame me for the mix-up. I'm sure Saturday is a busy day for them, but they won't make more of an effort to improve service unless customers speak up! read more

Recently called Fast Glass and the guy that picked up the phone answered with a "Hello" to which I replied "Hello?" not sure if I had called the right number and then after a awkward pause he quickly said "Fast Glass, what can I do for you?". I asked if they sold window treatments and he said very abruptly "No" then I asked if there was someone he could refer me to and he again very quickly and very rudely said "No" and proceeded to hang up on me. He seemed to be in a rush and didn't even stick around to talk to me long enough to know that I wanted window treatments AND windows. I just wanted to know if they offered window treatments as it would have been more convenient to purchase both at the same place to assure they match well. Due to the many great reviews I decided I would give them a chance to work on my windows even if they didn't sell window treatments. Fast Glass sure missed out on a willing customer and easy sale. read more
