I ordered 3 windows for my residential property. They installed them, but 6 months later one cracked due to a defect. After contacting them , they came and assessed the problem and agreed to replace it. Nothing happened for 6 weeks. I have been attempting to coordinate a repair and the customer service department is absolutely horrible. They take their time to respond to emails after giving a quote. When I call and they don't like that I am frustrated with them, they hang up and the manager says I have to be professional. Then they give an excuse they are extremely short staff and are dealing with not getting product in. At the end of the day, I am sorry you are dealing with all of that, however it is not my fault and your current employees shouldn't be treating the potential customers like crap. read more

I hate writing a bad review but I really want to warn folks about this place. I had an appointment to have my windshield replaced and was assured they had the correct part in stock. In order to make the appointment I had to take a half day off work, unpaid. I drop my car off and take an Uber home since they said the job would take about 3 hours, only to get a call back 30 minutes later saying they did not have my windshield in stock. I had to Uber back to get my car. All in it cost me about $250 in lost work and Uber fare to leave my car there for half an hour without getting anything accomplished, and nobody even apologized. I tried to talk to the person at the desk about this but I was simply handed my car key and the lady literally shooed me away with her hand. I should also note that while waiting in line to drop my car off I witnessed an employee on the home glass side tell a customer on the phone that they were rude and hung up on them, then the employee shouted about what a "f*ing a*hole" the customer was for the whole building to hear. Which honestly is the general vibe of this place. Not a good look. Seriously go anywhere else. I was able to get an appointment at another shop where they were really nice on the phone AND it'll cost me $100 less. Idk if whoever is in charge there reads these reviews, but if you're reading this, y'all need to do better. read more

Alan Forman, David Forman, Mark Forman, Evan Harkey, and S. Clay Jorgensen. These people and their insensitive "business" are clearly NOT Good Neighbors. Fast Glass, your customer service and disrespect to Veterans sucks. Fast Glass is clearly not a Veteran Friendly business. Fast Glass' lack of professionalism and discourtesy, and their inconveniencing we Disabled Veterans contributes to why Nevada is so much staggeringly higher than the rest of the nation for Veterans succumbing to illness and suicide. As we are a family with Disabled Veterans, we don't support any business that fails to support Veterans like Fast Glass rudely and with uncaring and lack of sensitivity did to we Veterans. I've been to this place multiple times for automotive glass, and I've had great experiences with them. The staff is attentive and helpful. Recently, my mother visited Fast Glass and was helped by Mark Forman. She mentioned that he and the rest of the staff was also very helpful to her for her glass repair. The rear view sliding window of our 1990 truck was broken into. We decided to replace it with a solid window. I didn't realize that the solid window would come with a different size gasket. The gasket was just enough smaller that I was unhappy with the fit. MARK immediately suggested that he could order a different gasket to see if it would fit better and that if I still didn't like it they would replace it with a slider like the original which would have the same gasket fit as the old one. We preferred to make the solid window work, so Mark ordered the gasket which did fit much better and I'm happy to have the non standard window work in the truck. We also had our 2002 Honda CR-V windshield replaced. Looks great. Unfortunately when I pulled the tape off I wasn't careful enough and it broke a roof rail screw cover off. I asked Mark about it and he said no problem, they have those, but when I took my broken one in, Sergio hunted and hunted and couldn't find the right one so he offered to order the right one. It will be in next week. I'm very happy with this also. Yes, it is ideal when things go smoothly and I'm sure most of their jobs do. But you know, what really matters is knowing that if YOUR job doesn't go smoothly, there are people at Fast Glass, like Mark, who will do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy before they are done! read more

I took my truck in for a windshield replacement. When I got it back I noticed right away the lane departure warning system was not working. A little experimentation determined the emergency breaking was also inoperable. I called Fast Glass and they said that faults showed prior to the replacement. I'm not sure why they didn't call me to discuss that, it seems that should have been pretty important. They said I would have to take the truck to Nissan to get it fixed. After paying United Nissan $215 for a service fee I discovered that according to the people that built the truck, Fast Glass installed the wrong windshield. When I called Fast Glass I ended up speaking to someone named Mark who claimed to be one of the owners. He insisted that Fast Glass had done nothing wrong. He offered to refund the Nissan service fee, my original $495 for the windshield replacement and I would then have to pay for another far more expensive windshield and labor to install it. I pointed out to him several facts. First, the prior mentioned systems worked before I brought the truck to Fast Glass. Second, they didn't work when I got the truck back. Third, according to Nissan, Fast Glass installed the wrong windshield. I asked if he was going to do the right thing and install the correct windshield. He refused to admit to any fault and told me I was being hostile. Well of course I was, his company broke my truck. Again he offered for me to pay him several hundred more dollars to fix his mistake. I then told him to just return my money and I would take the truck elsewhere to get the correct windshield. Why on earth would I give him more money? What if they still didn't get it right? Would I then have to pay even more? This company claims to be family owned and to stand by their work. I obviously disagree. My next step is a BBB complaint and also to see if this type of company answers to the contractor board. I know their home window division does. This entire experience has been very frustrating to say the least. This company offers a veteran's discount which implies they respect and honor veterans. My 2008 Jag had a damaged windshield and I was having trouble finding a replacement. As it was an insurance claim I originally went with SafeLight and they weren't able to find the replacement, so they dropped the whole thing without even a phone call. So I looked up Fast Glass and checked what the reviews said about them and called in. The staff was incredibly helpful and efficient and was able to get my new windshield ordered and delivered to their shop in a single day. I had a next day appointment and they immediately noticed that the windshield in the car was the wrong one and that the one they had ordered was the correct one. They had the car for 2 1/2 hours and installed the new windshield beautifully. I am incredibly impressed with the team in sparks and will go them the next time I need a new windshield. Even though it was clear they wouldn't be doing my repair, they put a piece of plastic over my broken window. They had done a good job when they replaced a broken window at my house years ago. Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! Screens cut to small, they were falling out and would not stay in the window. Rubber already came off of screens and windows only after less than 2 months. While taking out windows they damaged, dented, scratched the wood window sills. Deep chunks taken out. Broke glass in our back yard in the grass and left it where our kids and dogs stepped in it. Fun night with the tweezers that was. 8 screens cut too short. Also chipped our brand new tile countertop while trying to measure for a mirror. Mark got the perfect glass as promised and it went downhill from there... initial installation was completed and sealed up except the windshield molding was installed in a wavy pattern vs a straight pattern. Scheduled follow in business and repaired a second time. Now it's still wavy across from the top and now have a air gap causing whistles inside the car after the second attempt. Insurance says you picked the shop.. the second car won't be coming here due to poor work quality. Good part and poor installation performance on both the initial attempt and 2nd try to repair the seal which was made worse on the 2nd attempt.. The third visit Mark said it would take 20-25 minutes to replace the seal. 1 hours and 40 Minutes later after rRNA sun went down Mark delivers the car with the seal and then swapped the windshield out with the inferior cheap one and tries to brush it off. Buyer beware.. they will make you sign a release after they have done the work the glue is not fast glass responsibility!! read more

Called for a quote and provided details of what I needed. Quote sounded great. Took the glass in and it was slightly thicker than they expected and the price tripled! (strike 1). I accepted the higher price as I didn't have time to shop around since I had already taken time off work to bring the glass in. They offered to transfer the hardware from the old glass to the new at no cost (Thanks?) but they had to special order. (Not sure why a slightly thicker version of pane glass wasn't in stock). "It should only take 4 or 5 business days, but probably faster since it's pretty standard." Not great, but I can live with it, I guess. 3 business days go by and I haven't heard anything so I call for a status check. "It's not here yet; maybe tomorrow or Friday. We didn't order it until Monday." They will call me back with a firm date. No call back so I call them the next day. (strike 2) "It will be done on Friday." I can't take time off work on Friday so I tell them I'll pick it up on Monday. Got the impression that they felt they rushed the order and I wasn't appreciative. Weird! Sorry that you close at 5:30 every day and I can't just drop what I'm doing. It's bad enough that I had to change several plans caused by this delay. Went to pick up the glass on Monday and the finish on the edges was kinda rough. I could have done that good of a job. Didn't match the rest of the doors but now it's really too late to do anything about it. (strike 3). All of the good reviews seem to be for vehicle glass. February 18, 2021 This letter is in regard to a windshield installation in our Monaco Dynasty motor home on the 15th of February 2021, work order #WSPA141073 at the Fast Glass facility 1650 Greg St, Sparks, Nevada 89431. My wife and I drove to our appointment at 8am and arrived early at 7:50am. We were told that the installer would arrive shortly. We were guided to the install location at approximately 8:05 by Levi, the installer. My wife had handled the phone conversations to arrange the install and the only person that I had contact with was Levi. Levi was very courteous, polite, and did a very professional install. My wife and I stayed with the coach as it was cold outside and there isn't really much to do in that part of town. At about 1:15 pm the door of the motor home came flying open and a man named Mark, someone said he is the manager there, attitude in tow started into a rant about insurance issues with us being in the coach and in an elevated voice told me that "we were told 2 or 3 times that we were not allowed to be in the coach while the install was happening". At that point I began to get irritated and told him that we had never been told that, whereupon, he reiterated that "we had been told 2 or 3 times". When I responded that that was a lie as we had never been told, he told me that I had no reason to become upset. When someone tells me a lie, I have no tolerance for it. He could have asked every employee at that facility if in fact we had been told not to be in the coach, before he went off on me and he would have found that, in fact, we had never been told that we weren't allowed to be in the coach because of insurance reasons by anyone that we had dealt with there. Had we know, we would NOT HAVE BEEN IN IT! I am not one of his employees and will not be treated like that! I would normally expect an apology for having to deal with this inconsiderate and unjust person, but I do not believe he is a big enough man to do that. That is the reason for this letter, which will be sent to the facility in Sparks, The main office of Fast Glass, Safelite Solutions, who issued the contract for the install to Fast Glass, and to my insurance company AAA of New Mexico. Mark has no customer service skills and does not belong in a management position. We were never told by anyone before he went off on us.
