Excellent company. Treated me respectfully and fairly. I have an old home, so all the parts in my house are special order. The plumber who serviced my home was quick to source the right materials for the repair and made sure to keep me in the loop regarding extra costs. Work was done quickly. Out of the blue, 1 month after they invoice my insurance directly, they call me and threaten to put a lien on our property for not being an invoice we have NEVER heard of. She then proceeds to admit that they are behind on invoice "follow-ups" and even still it is OUR fault for our insurance not paying out what they said they would. I expressed that it was completely unreasonable to call me and threaten me when this is the first time I hear about such invoice, and further it was their fault they are behind on invoices and she had no remorse for her threatening behavior continuing to state regardless it was our problem to ultimately fix. I've used fast plumbing in the past without issue, so that's why I'll give them two stars instead of one, but I was so disappointed with this last experience that I feel like I should leave a review (even though it's not something I really ever do). I had an issue with low pressure in my bathroom sink. I had two young guys come out and gave us a very confusing picture about what was going on. They told us we had old galvanized pipes that were the problem (not calcium deposits) and needed to be replaced. One of the young men reassured us that he would let Melissa in the office know everything that he saw and that needed to be fixed, and they left us on a Friday afternoon with no water at all coming from that sink- still don't really understand what they did to worsen the problem. No one called me back. I called Melissa who started talking to me about repiping the ENTIRE HOUSE at which point I said I was very confused and needed another opinion. She said she would talk to the young guys the next day and call me back, she never called me- I gave her two days. **I called another plumber who came the next day, flushed out some calcium from the hot water line, changed the aerator and charged me only $100. It's completely fixed. ** I feel that this was a boldly disrespectful and dishonest interaction with this company and I can guarantee I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. read more

I needed a gas line and water line run to a new gas dryer that was delivered today. I mistakenly thought I had a gas dryer in the first place, so it was a last-minute call I made this morning. Within an hour James, one of the plumbers, showed up, explain to me what I needed to be done and got it done. He also hooked up the dryer and made sure everything worked. The gave me an appointment for the following day in a two-hour window which was convenient for me. I got an estimate over the phone which is also something I appreciated. I had them come out to change three hose bibs because my outside faucets were leaking. It cost $600 and took one hour. I asked for them to put a splitter on the bibs where there hoses were leaking. They did not. They simply put my old splitters back on. The plumber said the leaks were fixed but although the leaks from the bib was fixed it still leaked from the splitter. When I called to complain they just said it wasn't their responsibility since it wasn't their part. Horrible experience. They also admitted than when people complain of low water pressure instead of just adjusting the regulator they try to sell people new regulators. Avoid this company! read more

I called to get a sink drain unclogged. I specifically asked if they had a travel rate for coming to my house in Paige and they said no. So I set an appointment. Got a call a while later saying that they charge 125 dollars to come out along with the fee for the actual work. It's a 15 minute drive. I was specifically told that there wasn't a fee. I called on Saturday and Fast Plumbing had a Sunday morning appointment. Jose and his crew were friendly, professional, and quickly checked and fixed all the issues we noted and gave us a heads-up on some unrelated issues we may have in the future (without trying to sell us anything). Let me start saying that in January I needed assistance with my water heater. I called in fast plumbing was the two guys that came, do not remember their names, were very nice and professional. Then I called again because I had a leaking under my sink. I called them and I said that I had a leak under my sink in my boyfriend was messing with it and he broke the disposal, They send two guys, that my boyfriend said was two teenagers, and they said my leak was my disposal and they glued it. And they charge me $218 for supposedly fixing a disposal that Cost $50. They left my house around 2/3pm when I got back home from work under my sink was full of water again. I called them to come back and fix the leak. they came back didn't do anything told my daughter that disposal wasn't good. They did not even look for a leak. my water filter under the sink was broken and that was the leak. they came two times charged me $218 and did not find it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I called to complain and the supposedly manager called Melissa did not even let me finish my complaint she hanged up on me. Very bad Customer service. read more

Fast Plumbing is the only one who provide phone call for rough estimate after unexpected and hefty estimate from another big plumbing firm near the end of business day and can provide service next day when my house was renovated and before put in market. Nearly all plumbing firms want to come to estimate and say maybe Service next week. At that time I didn't live in Austin and need rough price to be provided on that day and have service next day. Their receptionist lady is really courteous and professional and detailed in information. Without hesitation I hired them to fix and install new plumbing fixtures in newly installed vanity. I had a leak under my kitchen sink. I first called Daniel's Plumbing and Air Conditioning and the guy told me it would be $502 to fix this tiny leak on the valve. I know the valve is just a $20 part. I told him no and then he said he would do it for $400. It was just a terrible sleazy company. the name says it all....they are high priced. the web site shows "free estimates" well the tech plumber came out, gave me a bid...i said "woah that's high" i said "i will think about it and get back to you". he said he would send a quote..he read off my email address...but never rec'd the quote. He then said....it will be $125.00 for me to come out...i said...WHAT!!!! i said the web side shows free estimates and when i called that is what i told them. I said you should know this information....i then pulled up the web site and showed him yes they are fast...fast at trying to get money out of you that is for a service call and not a estimate. i would not recommend this company.....do not use these folks! read more

Be careful with these guys... Fast plumbing showed up to inspect a blockage in our main line. After 2+ hours running a snake and camera they left us with a $550 bill and still clogged line. The team was young and probably inexperienced and although they did work relatively hard, they couldn't get it done. I talked to the manager on the phone for a second but got a lot of short answers. We had a very sour taste in our mouth so we called a different plumber for a second opinion the next day. The other guys got it snaked and unclogged and provided significantly better service at almost half the price. I wouldn't recommend Fast Plumbing unless you know you're getting their top brass. Also, don't feel left like a sucker like we were and don't pay unless they can get it done. I texted the manager to let him know what happened but haven't heard back. read more

Cari was very friendly and helpful on the phone trying to figure out what I needed to do to fix my toilet plumbing problems and gave me estimates over the phone that were accurate. Eric called 20 minuted before he arrived (within the 2 hour arrival timeline given) and showed up on time. He was peasant, knowledgeable and did the job!
