This is a great company. The owner Hugo is so patient, accommodating, pleasant and generous. His employee Jose is the same. I'm a retired senior and it's so nice to find a totally honest and generous plumbing company. I had my garbage disposal installed (at a great price) and when I made the appointment I had forgotten to mention about my toilet, which was intermittently running at times. Before he left I asked Jose if he could just check it out. He fiddled with it for a while and, of course, when I watched as he was there it was fine but then began acting up the next time it was used. I called Hugo and got a callback within a few minutes. I couldn't believe it but as soon as Jose was finished with the job he was working on, he came back. He ended up replacing the fill valve with a new, better one. When I ask how much I owed him, he said "Nothing". Of course, I had paid for the disposal installation but figured I owed more since he had to come back, but he said "Nothing". We had a problem with the faucet in our bathtub that was leaking water so we called a plumber out that we've used in the past. And he quoted us $1200 to fix the problem. So, we decided to get another opinion and was referred to Hugo with Fast Repipe and Plumbing in San Jose. Hugo arrived at the appointment time a little early and communicated via text that he was a little early and he could wait if that was better for us or could come in right away. And we told them to come in right away. This was a positive first impression because it was a totally respectful way to treat a potential client. One of the things that we liked about Hugo is he was an excellent communicator. He asked good questions and listened carefully to our answers. He then took apart the faucet and described the repair process and any potential problems that might arise to getting the plumbing repaired. Basically, the 'cartridge' that controls the faucets on, off & flow of water needed to be replaced. Because of hard water deposits, the first plumber could not remove it and hence the $1200 quote. Fortunately, Hugo was able to remove the old 'cartridge' & make the leak repair that was substantially less than what we were quoted by the first plumber. In summary, Hugo is a good guy. He's easy to deal with. He's an excellent communicator and we highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs. We will call Hugo again if we need any plumbing work done in the future. read more

Mainline sewer was overflowing in yard at our rental. A drain company tried to snake it and lost the head of their snake in the pipe, saying it was broken and needed to be replaced. Their bid was more than we could afford (4 more months' rent!), and so I searched for another local company. Hugo has my endorsement as a licensed and insured plumber with experience, good crew, and integrity. best decision we chose to work with to help upgrade our home. i made a few appointments, shopped around, spoke to different people, got some estimates and whennit was all said and done, Hugo and his team was the best choice for the job! his first impression was not only accommodating but it was like calling up a buddy you know and having em see what they can do for you. We had asked Hugo to examine for leakages in our house as we had noted a puddle of water. Hugo was very honest. He checked out and explained to us there was no leakage and the water was residual water from an earlier event. He went on to explain how it happened and at the end did not charge us a dime for his inspection. His honesty stood out as he did not unnecessarily do any work or charged for anything, even though he spend considerable time inspecting for problems. Hugo is fantastic at his trade and an incredibly kind person! When our weekend project turned into a leaking valve under a bathroom sink he was able to come in a few hours. Hugo fixed it in no time but when we went to turn the main valve on it broke too! In about an hour (in the dark) he was able to replace our main valve as well. We had a leak from our water meter to our house this morning, service line was five feet down and leaking profusely. The water company came out and said we were losing 100 gallons an hour and they shut off our water until it was repaired. I searched and called Fast Repipe based on the great reviews. They had someone out here within an hour to assess the damage and hook up a bypass so my family could have water again. They'll be back soon to re-pipe and fix the issue permanently. This company is top notch, great customer service and absolutely ready to respond for emergencies. We'll be doing a lot more business with them based on our first experience. After stressfully dealing with homeowner's insurance and our home warranty (which if you have Fidelity Home Warranty, they are awful!) because I had a couple of leaks in the hot water pipe lines, we discovered we had to repipe the house (out of pocket). This review is a little overdue, but I waited to make sure that everything was working well. At the end of September we found that we had a slab leak. The only feasible option was a repipe job as opposed to tearing up our hardwood floor and slab concrete. We got several estimates and discussed the various options with different contractors. Hugo impressed me right away as he got to the heart of the problem and the pipe routing that he suggested was the best solution. On repiping day his workers showed up on time and began the process. His team of four knew their tasks well and worked efficiently and cooperatively. In the afternoon, Hugo brought lunch for the workers and also for me! I kept checking on the progress and all my questions were answered. The repiping job was finished around 5 pm that day. The next day a different person came to patch and texture the walls.
