That man was Umed. Umed is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, communicative, and friendly. One of the kindest humans I've met. He examined the sink and provided an estimate, which was VERY competitive and an excellent deal. He and his brother, Saba, came by the next day with the right parts and went straight to work. Saturday 4th of July first company to respond to "project" request. Meal prep for bbq done, but needed a working kitchen sink for cleanup! A thorough exam of problem and complete resolution of my clogged old main kitchen sin line. I met cleaned up the work space thoroughly and demonstrated to me all lines drained. I would have zero hesitance to use this business. I expected a Saturday fee on a holiday to be extreme and was desperate, but the fee was far lower than I expected (and I have had a lot of work done on this old house!). Umed was honest and used his own materials for free even when I offered to purchase the material. He thoroughly verified that the leak is gone. Our 20-year-old gas water heater had a leak. Since the plumber at the time did not install a drip pan, the water was soaking into the wooden board. It was not good. We heard about the incentive from San Jose Clean Energy for gas water heater to heat pump water heater replacement. So, we opted to hit two birds with one stone. Urgent request sent out at 2 AM in the morning. Umed of Peak Home Service was the first one to respond early in the morning and followed with a site visit right away. The clean uniform and clean service van interior set them apart as the first impression. After comparing with other plumbing companies which have longer history and with more user reviews, we decided to hire Umed for the project based on these factors: * He is always quick to respond to my questions before, during and after the project. * In general, he is a nice person. Certain plumbing company owners reacted with an attitude when I pointed out issues in their original quotes. I don't have time for that. * He is familiar with incentive rebates and knowledgeable on local regulations and the permitting process. * Given that a heat pump water heater is more expensive than a gas heater, his price is competitive. * Although his company is relatively new, he has 4-year experience working in other well-known plumbing companies. And he is eager to earn your business with his professionalism and hard work. The new water heater has been operating well for about two weeks now. He was able to pull in the city inspection date ahead and got it approved last week.
