I called legacy and spoke to them about my situation. They had a tech call me to go further in depth to make sure they assigned me the right tech, especially being Bosch. Omar was dispatched and immediately did his general inspections once arriving. Then he went into the attic where he started doing his diagnostics and found out the blower motor itself was dead even though proper voltage was being sent to it. (Common with Bosch units). After just owning this new home for 2 months, Omar was able to help with cost of the repair from the unit and work out with our independent home warranty to get the job done right. Omar was very thorough and explained and answered questions I had in regards to the parts and a/c unit, I appreciate his honesty and going out to get our blower motor and return to complete the job on our intricate bosch unit. They replied quickly and we agreed on a time. They specifically said the time worked and they would be here. Then, without any other explanation, they simply said they were booked and couldn't make it. Nothing other than that: no message apologizing, no message saying they're prioritizing rescheduling as soon as possible, nothing. I waited to post this 9+ hours after their last message to see what the owner said, but I've gotten nothing in reply. So while I should at least get an apology, I'm not surprised to see zero accountability. If they can't simply apologize, I'm not sure how they think they can be trusted to do any actual work.

Well, I wasn't going to roast in my house all night (luckily no pets or kids live here). So I got on Yelp and found this company, now called Lee's. They had a technician (shout out Diego!) out before 7pm to diagnose the problem. In an hour, he realized that I either had a huge repair or a complete HVAC replacement on my hands. He called his supervisor, who came over within 30 mins. Mind you, it's now 8:30pm on a Saturday. Ray gave me all of my options and did not try to upsell me at all. In fact, he told me I did not need to even consider the two most expensive options, based on my house size and system. He explained everything very carefully and let me ask all the questions I could think of. And he told me that he could have a team at my house at 8am on Sunday (the next day!) to replace my entire HVAC system and it would be done by dinner time. They showed up at 8:04am and were done at 4:20pm. And the most unexpected thing was that Ray lent me his personal portable AC unit so that I could sleep in my house Saturday night and then have a cool room to hang out in while the team did their work. (I don't remember the names of the two men who did that hard work all day Sunday, but massive thank you to them. They put tarps down to protect my floors and they cleaned up everything after they were done.) The warranty comes with a 1-year warranty on labor, 10-years warranty on all of the parts, and for the first year, three complementary inspections. After that first year, for only $140/yr I can continue those three annual inspections (which I will obviously be doing). I now have ice cold AC and I could not be happier with this experience (even though a new HVAC is very expensive but obviously required to live in Vegas). You need HVAC work? These are the people you call.

As a result, the system was not performing properly. There was a leak in refrigerant, was short cycling and wound internally shut off, and was not configured properly for zoned system. The existing system was installed when we purchased this house new in 2018 but was contractor grade. Ryan provided a couple of solutions but decided to replace. Very good price for a better quality system. The install techs, Roger and Dom, completed the install today. Very professional and went extra to be sure zone system was functioning properly. After she left them for whatever reasons, getting somebody to pick up the phone or respond back to leaving a voice message can be hit or miss, especially during the busier summer months. Don't waste your money to buy their extended warranty because Alpha Air won't be there for you when you really need them for that expensive covered repair job. My AC died during a 100+ degree day, and I called Alpha Air several times and left a message but no answer. I finally decided to just call another AC company that came the same day to fix the problem, but of course, I had to pay out of pocket instead of being able to use the pre-paid warranty. I also had a sick, elderly parent suffering in a sweltering house so I wasn't going to wait for an unreliable company that didn't pick up their phone and will likely just say that they never got my phone call or voice message or that there was a glitch in their system. Alpha Air can do the job well if/when they want to show up so I give them one star for that and one star for Terry who no longer works for them. Based on my recent experience, however, I won't be using Alpha Air anymore and wish we had never paid for their useless extended warranty. They got their extra profit back then, but lost a long-term customer as of now. Businesses that truly deserve all their positive reviews have consistently excellent communication/customer service so they don't have to give after the fact excuses or apologetic explanations.

I had already received two quotes to replace the ductwork in my home when Ranier came out. From the beginning, the level of customer service was above and beyond -- he even offered to grab me a coffee on his way to my house! He gave me an incredibly thorough and honest assessment, took tons of photos, and showed me exactly what was going on in my attic. He also told me that my insulation level was great, which I really appreciated because both of the other companies had tried to sell me additional insulation. On top of that, Super Service's quote was about $2,000 LESS than my lowest estimate. Between the price, Ranier's honesty, and the great customer service I'd already received just scheduling the appointment, I was sold. The installation team was fantastic as well. The job ended up taking two days, and on the second day, with my permission, they stayed until 10 PM to make sure everything was completely finished rather than leaving it for another day. They did have to cut a hole in one of my walls during the installation, and Super Service arranged for another company to come repair it. I fully expected them to patch the wall and leave me to figure out the painting afterward. Nope! They repaired it, matched both the paint color AND texture perfectly, and even left me the extra paint. You genuinely cannot tell there was ever a hole there. Super Service also included an AC and plumbing maintenance membership at no charge. They cleaned and tested my AC system and showed me photos and video of everything they checked. They even told me they'll come back before we turn our heater on for the season and service that too. Huge shoutout to Lorenzo for the excellent service! Today, Luis came out for the plumbing tune-up and was just as great. He drained and inspected my 7-year-old water heater and told me it still looks great. Another company had previously told me they couldn't service it and that I needed to replace it, so once again I really appreciated Super Service's honesty and the fact that I never felt pressured into replacing something that didn't need replacing. Luis also showed me some optional upgrades, including an automatic water shutoff system that I didn't even know existed. Every person I've dealt with at Super Service has been professional, thorough, friendly, and honest. They've consistently taken the time to explain things, show me photos and videos, and give me options without making me feel pressured to buy something I don't need. After dealing with several other HVAC and plumbing companies, that kind of honesty is incredibly refreshing. He took photos of everything he serviced, offered to have me tag along so I can understand the processes he was completing & thoroughly answered any/every question I had. His findings were similar to the other two companies I received two quotes from... a new a/c system is need (oy...). The difference was, he was very thorough in explaining why he felt the replacement was needed & showed concrete facts of why. Even emailed me a copy of his photos/videos and notes so I could show my husband when he got home. Jamal completed his professional service, made sure all my questions were answered and scheduled for me to talk to a manager abut options and pricing. I was hesitant to move forward, but the replacement was inevitable. I could have rode it out until the unit was on its last string, but this is Vegas. I wanted to be preventative. Plus, 3 neighbors' units crapped out within the month. I didn't want to be the 4th in the height of a hot summer. Queue in Larry. He was beyond professional. Personable even. I was ready for the upselling and pushiness, but the experience never came. He went over Jamal's findings with me once more. Explained his recommendations for new units & even suggested an extra vent install for better performance. The kicker? He didn't deviate from his initial guesstimated price as he continued to include various extras that would help us put our best foot forward. Who does that? Bumble Breeze apparently lol. After everything was said & done, I told him I wanted to talk it over with my husband & make sure we can afford the financing. No pressure or pushiness on his end. We even agreed on a date of no contact if he never heard from me to ease the indecisiveness. He followed up with me & offered an additional incentive where I couldn't say no. BumbleBreeze with the install, maintenance/extended warranties & extra razzle dazzle of free dryer vent cleaning and sanitization ended up being almost $10k cheaper than my other two quotes!! No brainer. We came up with a comfortable number, finance plan/budget and the appt for install happened in no time. Jesus & Curtis came in and completed the install. Just like Jamal and Larry, both gentlemen were courteous, professional & friendly. They were mindful of my home and their mess during the whole process. They kept me in the loop as the process went on too. They gave me a tour of the finished product & explained filters and my new thermostat. Curtis made sure any of my questions were answered and explained how beneficial the new unit will be overall before they left. They explained a tech will be in contact complete the process with a duct sanitization and cleaning as well as the promised free dryer vent cleaning. Devin came a couple days later to finish the job. Just like all the rest, he was professional, courteous and friendly. He completed the vent cleaning & sanitization process. He took before & after photos/videos that I got emailed a copy of for my records. He made sure the team prior was thorough with the initial tune-up, inspection and install.
