We ordered three pizzas and had them cook them for us instead of take and bake, it was only a dollar more per pie. The pizza was decent, it has more cheese than I would like, which made the topping part seem like it needed to be cooked longer even though the crust was nice and crisp. We chose the original crust and it wasn't too thick or too thin, but there wasn't much rise to it on the edge of the pizza. This place is great in a pinch. The staff are lovely. The service is great as they are quick and helpful. I would eat their pizza again and just ask for less cheese. read more

Fat Cat pizza is ok for a quick dinner when you don't want to cook. The pizza is ok. The wings are really good. There Jojo's are good but I always cook them a little long when I get them home. I like there delivery service but it takes 1.5 to your food. Biggest complaint is getting them to answer their phone. It either rings off the hook for hours or it's busy. Very hard to get ahold of when wanting to order delivery. read more

I remember the pizza was good, fresh, hot, and they must have gotten the order right or I'd have a less pleasant feeling when I think back to our experience. I know we ordered 3-4 pizzas and they were yummy. Decent pizza for less dough. Ha. IMHO thin crust is the best. I like to get it right out of the oven and eat it in the car before it gets soggy. Staff is kinda 'whatever' they close when they feel like it, so you can't rely on the hours listed. Like today. Website says their open till 9pm. but no answer at 8:15 pm. Wild River pizza is a little better but costs double! Fat Cat you can get a medium with 1 topping or 1/2 and 1/2 for like 10 bucks or a large for 12 or 13. Sweet. Had one guy who was pretty surly with me on the phone one day. I'm 6'2" 250lbs. He couldn't even look me in the eye when I picked up. Ha! Woos! We have ordered Calzones every time we are in the area, and it continues to be amazing. The marinara and ranch are also great, and for $36 we can feed 4 people. 2 calzones, 4 waters and delivery fee. Not including the tip. Def a must try. read more

Amazingly fresh pizza right here. The staff is super friendly and we had our hot freshly made pizza in 20 minutes. The calzones are extra EXTRA big and tasty with plenty of ranch and fresh tomatoes on the side. We originally went to Brookings harbor but the wait was over an hour for a to go pizza. I'm very pleased it worked out that way. We have a new favorite pizza place now. They'll cook it for you or you can cook it at home. Did I mention the awesome staff? I did. Twice now. read more

Fat Cat never again!!!! Very disappointed. Was looking forward to a quiet dinner in for valentines at home with my husband. We had taken the combination calzone home (they baked) we had a few bites with marinara sauce, onions, and extra toppings only to throw it all in the garbage. It had a horrible flavor. This place has good pizza. Stopped in for a large Bbq chicken on thin crust. It was perfect. The service was fast and friendly. You can even take pizzas home to bake yourself. Just stopped in last week to check out this new business, being saddened by Figaro's departure, I was skeptical but I figured I'd give them a shot anyways, and I was blown away, the second we stepped through the door my girlfriend and I both had smiles on our faces due to the incredibly unique and amusing decorations, we looked at the menu and were extremely pleased with the prices, the girl who helped us was very polite and courteous and seemed genuinely happy with her job, which is rare for any business. We got home and were surprised with the coupons that were printed on the box, both the quality of the paper and the offers they provided blew Figaro's away. The icing on the cake was that it was the best damn pizza I've ever had. I am so happy that Fat Cat Pizza replaced Figaro's. If you're in Brookings, and you like fluffy dough, generous toppings, great prices, excellent service, and a highly-amusing, yet briefly experienced environment. Make sure you swing by this unique business, they deserve to succeed. That being said, it is a smaller place, and it's not meant so much as a family sit-down pizza joint. There are other places in town that offer a more "stay and relax" sort of environment. But I will say, if you walk into this place, and you like both cats and pizza, you will be extremely satisfied and amused with your decision. I walked in expecting disappointment, ridiculously high-prices, and lower quality pizza like the other two pizza places in town (in my opinion, quality does not mean flat, nor $30 pizzas, I'm not trying to start any wars here), but I could not have been further from the truth.
