    Original Fatburger (1/3 lb.) meal

The Last Great Hamburger Stand. Great burgers and shakes. They carry Pepsi products at the soda fountain, a big plus in my book (I might have a small addiction to Mountain Dew ). Fries come skinny or fat. Shakes are made with ice cream, or they have a vegan option (not how that works). They have chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, banana, and Oreo for flavors. Kids meals are available. Burgers can be customized to a point; a list of toppings are listed on menu or you can get it with everything (called, "the works"). Service is great! If you want to watch them cook up your order, their grill is visible from the counter. Dine-in orders are brought to the table. If you have a to-go order, there are photos and literature about 'Fat Burger' hanging on the walls to keep you busy.

I was looking for a Whatsaburger, obviously I'm from out of state when I stumbled on this place. I ordered a double Fatburger, home made onion rings and a Maui-banana shake. The burger was great! Big juicy patties and a good flavor. Onion ring I'm on the fence in they're really home made or not. Regardless they were good. The shake was excellent less the canned whipped cream which Isla a deal killer for me. Will I return, absolutely. If you're craving a burger this is an excellent choice! Please is clean and the staff friendly. And a perk, they have my picture on the wall

This was my first time trying Fatburger and it was pretty good! Inside was clean and gives a "retro" diner vibe. There are plenty of indoor seating options. The person who helped me was nice, patient and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. While waiting for your order you can look at some pictures on the wall of people who completed a challenge. I ordered the Impossible burger, fries and a vegan milk shake (mixed the chocolate and banana flavors together- yuum!!). Fries and shakes seem to come in one size. The fries were nothing out of the ordinary and the bruger tasted good. For what it is this burger place is a bit pricey. The Vegan shake was 10.99 at the time of writing this review and the Impossible burger was around the same price. If you want to add- on things it's an additional .50 per topping. I feel like the price doesn't really match the quantity and tase of the food compared to other burger places of the same ballpark. But, if you want to try something new then this is a place that you may want to give a go if you're in the mood for burgers and fries.

Jalapeno Popper Burger with a little extra. Their added attitude didn't help.

OK, here's my Fatburger story. Yesterday was my birthday. My wife's in the hospital and I'm dealing with everything. I didn't get a chance to eat and wanted a good solid burger, but did not want to move my butt. My first choice didn't deliver, so my kids said Fatburger would be good. I agreed. Wish I hadn't. On my first bite, I was greeted with paper! The paper wrapper from the cheese slices was left on. GROSS!!! That completely ruined my meal. I called them and the recording said they close at 8 and to call back tomorrow. This was at 7:58. Yes, just about 8, but when I ran a business, I closed things up AFTER closing hours, not before. So, I called back today. After explaining that I found paper inside the sandwich they prepared, the person I spoke with told me to contact the delivery company for a refund. What? I asked again. "I said there was paper in the sandwich you guys made. And I have to contact the delivery company?". And she confirmed that. I asked don't you care about the fact that your sandwich was made bad? I didn't wait for an answer. I hung up at that point. The level that customer service has sunk to keeps hitting new lows. And do people even care about their products any more?

We came here for lunch and this was my first time having it. For starters it was a really cool setup for the location. We came in and everyone was masked up and we were able to pick a table in the corner that was further from anyone. I came in not knowing what I wanted but after looking at the menus the sizes said it all. I decided to go with the large which is a 1/2 pound burger with onion, lettuce, pickles, cheese and thousand island sauce with the fat fries.(They have two sets of fries; the skinny fries and the fat fries. The fat fries are steak fries) The food was cooked to order and came out fairly quickly. The food was very good and has been the best burger that I've had since I have been in California. It was actually better than the in and out burger I had a few days ago. Overall I know what to order next time and when I return it will be where I go for a good burger and it's not overly priced.

    NO GLOVES-NO THANKS!

NOTE THIS REVIEW IS DURING THE PANDEMIC I went in to Fatburger as I was waiting for my phone at the Sprint store next door. Upon entering, I notice they were practicing social distancing, but one of the workers did not have gloves on. She is the "cashier", she took my order, took my card, handed my card back to me, with no glove. At first I thought it was strange b/c she didn't wash her hands before or after, but I ignored it as I had hand sanitizer in my bag. But as I continued to watch her, she bagged my fries in the french fry packet and put them in my bag w/ the burger. She then folded the bag down and handed it to me. I asked her why she wasn't wearing gloves if she was handling food and her response was, I don't have to, I am a cashier. I told her I saw you handle my fries and bag w/ my food. She said "I only touched the paper pouch I put the fries in", plus "I am a cashier". Maybe I am wrong but anyone handling food should be wearing gloves during this Pandemic. Needless to say, I didn't want to make a scene but I kindly walked out, threw away my food and just donated $12.06 to this place. DISGUSTED!!!

The Flamin Smash had jalapeño, pickles, American cheese, and chipotle spread. Big flavor, gentle kick, & hella satisfying. They use angus beef for their patties. You can also split your fries which I love! I got to try the onion rings and sweet potato fries. I wish the sweet potato fries were crispy. They were more on the soggy side. The onion rings batter was a lil thicker than I like. The batter overpowered the onion. We also got the Cajun wings to try which was nice and crispy! They give you a few sauces on the side so you can dip it. I got the ranch which was so good with the wings, fries and burger. The milkshakes are pretty delicious! We got the classic vanilla one. The Maillard reaction still produced a very juice Brgr with a soft tasty bun. The juices soaked into the bottom bun making it a soggy mess. A little salty, but, good. 2) Mushroom & Swiss Brgr: wife ordered this, but, got full on the Beef Loaded Fries (more on that later). Yet, she brought it home and reheated in microwave and she loved it!!! The Brgr reheated well. She said it was still juicy and well seasoned. Must have been good because she ate the whole thing!!! 3) Beef Loaded Fries: well, my wife also loved this and ate half at the Shack. The fries are thick chips, topped with crumbled Brgr, grilled onions, cheese and pickles. This was a favorite for us. The meal was good and filling. Something happened with the order and the kitchen didn't get the order slip. Had to go up and asked and the cook profusely apologized for the mixup. He quickly put our order together in a little over 5 minutes and the counter person also apologized for the inconvenience. Brgr Shack comped an order of plain fries which turned out well because we used those chips to scoop the toppings of the Beef Loaded Fries. The fries underneath got soggy quick. And there was no forks to be found. Stars subtracted for lost order and no forks. Will try again of course. The dining room was clean with ample tables and chairs. I grew up eating Balkan…read morefood and my first bite of the cevap (minced meat sausage but there is no casing; just the meat hand-formed and grilled) tasted like "the olden days" and tears started flowing because of the happy memories and flavors it brought back. Bosko and his family own, operate, and create the menu at this restaurant and they are friendly and welcoming and passionate about the food and service they offer, and it felt like coming home. The Food: I had the Mixed Plate, which comes with grilled minced meat sausage, grilled pork shoulder and a side of coleslaw (prepared the Balkan way with oil and vinegar). I chose the Balkan toppings, so the meat was served on a naan type bread topped with the Balkan toppings which consists of white onions, kajmak (feta cheese/cream/butter spread), diced bell peppers, and ajvar (bell pepper and eggplant spread). The sausage is perfectly seasoned, the pork shoulder tender. A friend and I also shared a half-order of Balkan Fries with sausage topped with Balkan toppings. The combination of the fries, sausage and toppings is a tantalizing, mouth-watering marriage of flavors. Bosko brought a sample of the chicken since we hadn't ordered it and it was full of flavor and oh so tender. If you've never had Balkan food, you are in for a very delicious treat. The first time you eat here, I suggest you get the Mixed Plate with Balkan Toppings. Ask them to add a side of chicken to your plate so you can sample that too. I think you'll find you've died and gone to Balkan heaven. If you want to know what every person of Balkan heritage grew up eating, this is what we were eating. The Drink: They offer a good variety of beers on tap, both local brews and name-brand. Soft drinks and iced tea are self-serve. Nice. The Ambiance: The restaurant is located in an older, tiny little shopping mall almost at the end of East Valley Parkway. Bosko's father bought the building back in the 70s so this is a location that is near and dear to Bosko's heart. As you first walk up to the restaurant, the first thing you notice is the wonderful smell of the smoker filling the air with the unmistakable scent of good-meat-things-happening. Taste buds, get ready for a grand ride. There are picnic tables outside but it was a warm day and we wanted to sit inside. Inside you are greeted with a clean, open and welcoming space, newly decorated with bright white tile in the kitchen and service area, and rustic wood boards on the wall. Seating is at either picnic-style tables or taller tables with stools. Two TV sets were airing sports programs, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The ceiling features open duct work that's shiny and new and there's corrugated metal sheet on the bottom half of the walls, which all together makes the place feel fresh and warm and comfortable. The menu is easy to read and straight-forward. While we were there, a softball team was hosting their end-of-year party. The place was full to the rafters but we never felt like it was too many people or too loud. Value: The prices are extremely reasonable. Let's just say my eyeballs didn't pop out of their sockets like they do at some restaurants. Everyone in my party was pleased with the portion sizes, and we all felt like we got more than what we paid for in terms of the quality of the food and the taste of the food. Catering: Bosko was telling us a little about how he came around to opening the restaurant and we learned that before this he did catering, serving whole roasted pig, lamb, sausages. He shared that they are going to cater for an event that will have 1,200 people!! The softball team I mentioned in "The Ambiance" section had their food catered in-house by Bosko. They had hero sandwiches which looked fresh and delicious and fully loaded with deli ham, turkey and toppings. These were served with fries and a green salad. Old World Meat Co also caters the traditional Balkan foods they serve at the restaurant, which would make any party a hit with guests. Bosko is passionate about his food and culture and is eager to share it with people, so if you have a party coming up, give Bosko a call and see what he can do for you. Take Some Home: You can purchase a package of frozen sausages to take home with you. I forgot to ask if they come pre-cooked or if you grill them yourself. But either way, they would be a great addition to any meal you serve at home. Final Thoughts: Do yourself a favor. Come and partake of this oh so delicious food and I think you will find yourself wanting to come back again and again. The food. The ambiance. The value. The nicest people you'll ever meet. Old World Meat Company is the whole package. A five-star experience for sure.

Take away: I would definitely come back opt for the triple and double up on the rings and leave with a concrete which they will prepare at the end of your meal.
