Why does this place only have 3 reviews on YELP?? Also - I'm not sure who Lisa B. is, the reviewer who left 1 star... but, c'mon - sounds like a disgruntled customer who wants to go out of their way to be nasty. I've dined at many, MANY, MANY middle eastern restaurants...so, I feel like I am absolutely qualified to give this place a very fair review. The food here is fantastic. It's super fresh and you can tell that each dish is prepared with care. The owner is always there, and goes above and beyond to make sure that the meal is prepared EXACTLY how you like it... I have YET to have a bad meal here - and I've tried COUNTLESS dishes...I expect at some point I will be served something I don't love - but, it hasn't happened yet! Also, a huge plus is that there is ample parking and it's well-lit - you can park literally in front of the restaurant and watch your car if you are so inclined. To be fair - the ambiance needs some work - so if you are going to ding this place, it's going to be for that reason. The lighting is very bright, which gives it more of a cafe/fast food kind of feel rather than offering softer lighting that draws people looking for more of a dining "experience" or date night. The decor needs some work too - it's very sterile with bright white walls and there is a random television hanging in a corner. But, people - PLEASE don't let that deter you in any way...because those are NOT the things that make a great restaurant... the food is what counts - and this place NAILS IT. They do a lot of carry-out - so just know there will be people coming in and out often - a GREAT sign of great food. read more

Went there today for the first time with my son and granddaughter. The food was fantastic. The beef Shish Kafta was amazing on a wrap. The flaffal was amazing. Had rice pillaf and it was a light and fluffy, a big hit with the little one. If you are in the area and like mediterraian you have to try this place. read more

My husband and I walked into this restaurant at 7:20 on a Wednesday night and were informed they're only doing carry out. There were a few people seated and eating and I looked at the door for their hours...they close at 8:00. So my efforts to support a local business is gone for this place. We ate at Victoria's instead. read more

Best lemon rice soup I've had in Michigan! Used to live closer to Detroit and nothing compares to this soup. I also got the almond rice meal with lamb and it was amazing. This is the best restaurant in Oxford by far!! The restaurant is also super cute, love the energy in there! Our family of 9 tried this restaurant and I will say we are Middle Eastern Food snobs. One of our favorite foods to eat and this place had some of the best food we have had in the area (Rochester, Troy, Bloomfield Hills) We called in advance to make sure they could accommodate us. When we got there the table already had waters for all of us and was set up. The hummus was awesome as well as the tabbouli. My daughter ordered the whole chicken and she was able to share it with her husband and 3 kids with the rice. They all loved it. The salads were great. All our food was fresh and well prepared. The waitress was Tessa, she was awesome taking care of our party. Wess the owner also came to help Tessa and wanted to be sure we were all happy with our meals. I talked with Wess when I was checking out. He said his father hand picks the fresh food daily and it is always fresh, you could tell. It is more of a diner type atmosphere, but I loved that about the place. Easy to get to from Rochester and Lake Orion. If you love middle eastern food this is the place to go and were we will be going from now on. Be sure to meet Wess such a kind and friendly man and hope Tessa is your waitress. Enjoy. read more

Fell in love with the deboned chicken. Love the Fattoush salad and lentil soup too. The Turkish coffee is divine, and comes in a beautiful cup, with a lovely serving sets. I was in pain after a move, so a member of the owner's family ran out, and got me some Xtra strength Tylenol. She said of course, you are family to us.The food and the genuine family atmosphere are the best!!!!! read more

This place is amazing. First of all you can dine in which I love. The meat is cooked perfectly. We always get lamb, kabob and tawook chicken. The flavor explosion in your mouth is unreal. Their hummus is amazing and the garlic sauce well I could eat it with a spoon! The fattoush salad is lemony and light and is the perfect addition to the meal. I also heard the fries are very good. Yuck...........totally horrible Chicken Gallaba - should have called it pepper stew with a heavy hand on Turmeric. I have had lots of Galabia all around the city and this was a total miss for me. Went right into the trash along with the strange tasting crushed lentil soup (heavy curry). read more
