Ordered the Ohh La La, which was a crawfish cream pasta over angel hair with a fried soft shell crab on top. This dish was OK. They have an AYCE crawfish special which looked interesting. I also ordered Mama's bread pudding which was delicious. read more

Food is good. But the service is worst than awful!!! A group of 3 of us sat down to eat with sandwiches and chicken nuggets. It took almost 2hrs!!!!!! Every time we would walk to the bar area to check on our food we would catch the people watching the football game. That have us some boiled shrimp for the trouble, but I don't think we will ever go again! Update: My aunt went last week and after never getting her drinks, she rote a note on the table and walked out!! read more

Girl's Night out with my favorite adult daughter Thursday. SO happy we didn't have to go out of town for a fun dinner. We went to Fatty's and sat in the bar area. It was packed and the restaurant was almost empty. Made for a very festive atmosphere, everyone celebrating the end of a workday with a baseball game playing on the tvs. Carrie, the bartender/server, was very busy but didn't skip a beat. Daughter loved the frosty, frozen mango daiquiri and I sipped on a LaCrema Pinot Noir while we nibbled on the delectable Seafood Nachos full of crabmeat, shrimp, and ooey-gooey melted cheese! The nacho appetizer is large enough for a crowd. We had Carrie pack half of it up and ordered the small rib eye steak to split. Perfectly seasoned and served with sauteed fresh squash and some potatoes we didn't care for but I have to say, the steak is wonderful. Tender and full of flavor! Loved it. read more

Well it is 820 on a Friday night. I fully expected them to be busy. Well they could've been a little better suited for a busy night. I didn't even make in the door. It was my niece's graduation and we had planned on going there for her graduation dinner. Well my sister and two nieces made it there before us, at least by 15mins. Well my husband, Mom, Dad and son waited outside for them to tell us to come in. We watched multiple families go to the doors and just stand there. Finally 15mins later most of the people that were outside. After that my sister and two nieces walked out. My sister began to tell us that they just told her that they had no tables and didn't know when one would be available, and basically they'd be closed before any table came open. So, we're now on our way to another restaurant to celebrate my nieces graduation. I don't live her, but my sister my z does so she's been here before. I come and visit every few months and I can say with confidence I WILL NOT be back. This is ridiculous. I understand them being busy, but they waited for 35 mins to tell her all this. I was not particularly sure about this place based on the pictures posted; however the menu items made the restaurant seem appealing. The staff was friendly and prompt. The restaurant itself was clean. Proper Covid-19 protocols were taken (staff wore mask, sanitizing stations strategically placed, social distancing of customers). As far as the food is concerned; everything I had was delicious & filling. I ordered the stuffed catfish; which was seasoned well. My partner had catfish with a topping. His father ordered the fish and fries and bread pudding. He wasn't deeply impressed with his order of fish; but the bread pudding was amazing! If I were not so full from the entree serving size, I would have indulged more than a spoonful of the bread pudding. I really wasn't expecting it to be that good! It was so good, I really thought about it days later. I will definitely be back! Looking forward to bringing friends & family here when they visit. read more

The appetizer was good although after the fact, I realized I didn't get the "signature jelly sauce" that was supposed to be served with my bacon wrapped shrimp. I had the cajun Alfredo for my main meal. The crawfish were good but there were no peppers in the fettuccine as advertised. I did the pick up service because of the Covid 19 going on. Our Mac & cheese was missing. We called and advised them. When we started to eat saw that the food was not very appealing. Yummers! I ordered a fried shrimp platter, my mom had the fried catfish platter and it was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The establishment is clean and doesn't smell fishy. They have an awesome game room attached to the restaurant for entertaining the kiddos, a great touch in a small town! The menu was short, but everything on it looked great! I would rather have a short menu full of tasty items than a long menu of meh. Conviently off the highway with ample parking. read more

Slidell location- service was horrible. Ordered gumbo as ap, never got it. Wrong food brought out. Had to go to the bar to get my own lemons. Seafood batter was just spicy. The soft shells were like chewing on paper and over fried. Offered us a dessert they didn't have. Just a bad experience overall. Will not be going back. read more
