This review is way overdue! I was planning a vacation at Lost Pines Resort with family. I called Fayette with a request for a wheelchair. I was able to reserve the correct size wheelchair delivered to the hotel. Saved my vacation! The resort is huge, requires being ambulatory, without a wheelchair I would have spent the whole vacation in my room. Where do I start? From the friendly voice when I scheduled an appointment, to the end of my appointment when I walked out with a mask that actually fits, this was a positive experience. Plus, I now know how to take advantage of my CPAP's many options. Let me take this opportunity to commend Crystal, Cindy and especially Jean. Five stars all the way for customer service, but I would give Jean 10 as, thanks to her, not only will I get a better night's sleep, I may live longer. Having a mask that fits makes all the difference. Not only do I highly recommend Fayette Medical Supply in Bastrop, but I've also convinced a friend to schedule an appointment as she doesn't use her CPAP because her mask doesn't fit. When I first went to get my machine, Connie was very rude. It took a long time to get my CPAP due to covid and when I was finally able to get it, all it seemed like what she cared about the money portion of it. I went and ordered supplies online like they ask you to do. It took 3 months to get a phone call back about the supplies. Her response was "I just saw you ordered supplies." 3 months later!! She chastised me for my use of the machine (sorry sometimes I fall asleep before putting the machine on. Sleep meds work that way.) Here it is the CPAP will not work without a filter and I wonder how long it will be before I will get that. read more

I broke my ankle on February 13, and my friend broke hers the next day. We both had terrible experiences with Char at the Bastrop office. People who are seeking medical equipment already have enough problems that they do not need to deal with someone who is rude and argumentative. Went to fill a prescription, waited ten minutes before I was acknowledged or even asked how I could be helped. The lady at the desk was too busy chatting with the a customer in front of me and never once bothered to say, "I will be right with you." When I was finally acknowledged, the lady was short and rude. I just thank you and left the business. I would avoid this location if at all possible. I will gladly drive into too Austin before I spend any of my money with this business. read more

I have never felt more unwelcome at a place of business! I attempted to bring my business from Apria who I was not happy with to FMS. It was apparent that because I had been an Apria customer I was not welcome to do business with FMS . Connie M. the Bastrop manager of Fayette Medical Suppy was loud, aggressive and dismissive in my attempt to understand why they would not accept my business. She proceeded to make an embarrassing display in front of customers and staff the moment I walked through the door. This is a public place of business and all I was asking for was a consultation in hopes of receiving better care than my experience with Apria. I spoke with Jane in the La Grange office who seemed understanding and apologized for Connie M.'s behavior as she had been on the line during some of this encounter.. The following day I received a call from the owner which I requested, he placed the blame for his managers rude and erratic behavior on the Sleep Lab that sent me there, huh? "Well sometimes misunderstandings happen" is what he told me. It all was extremely embarrassing, at no time was I threatening or raised my voice to this Woman. Al Hernandez CEO of FMS confirmed this having reviewed video and audio of the event. I had promised to hold off on a negative review prior to giving Mr. Hernandez the opportunity to explain why this could have happened and maybe apologize on behalf of Connie M. I felt he merely tried to place the blame on the company who sent me there while excusing his managements behavior. I've been going through a long process of trying to get a cpap machine through my neurologist and it's been such a hassle. So I finally just asked for my prescription and decided to venture out on my own to find the place that would suit my needs the best. Fayette Medical Supply was quick and efficient. I dropped my paperwork off on Tuesday afternoon and within 2 hours Diana called me back and scheduled my appointment to pick up my machine on Wednesday. I then had an hour meeting with their respiratory therapist who answered all of my questions and was very thorough. I went there to buy a cushion having surgery. They suggested a particular kind that I was not familiar with, but did not have it in stock. When it came in, my fiancé went and bought. I called and said that it was not what I needed and wanted to return it. They told me they had a no return policy. I told them that it did not say that on my invoice, nor was it posted in the store. As it was not cheap, I drove there the next day (an hour drive) to plead with them for my money back, but they pointed to a freshly printed "No Returns "notice taped to the counter. The two ladies were rude and the company is too rigid. read more
