I wasn't really sure what to expect when I heard of this Italian fast food restaurant but I'm definitely glad that I gave it a try! I ordered the #7 Chicken Parmigano (spaghetti with marinara sauce and chicken Parmesan) and it was pretty satisfying. The combo comes with a drink and two garlic breadsticks. Even if you don't think the entrees are amazing, I would still recommend coming here just to eat the breadsticks because they are so delicious and I can't get enough! So... Today I had the worst experience at Fazoli's. When I went to order I asked for a baked spaghetti with pepperoni on top. This lady looked at me like I was a crazy person. She starred at me and didn't even say anything. So I told her I used to get it and asked if they still had it. She still didn't answer me. So I just said I would take a plain baked spaghetti which is the number 5. Then we finished our order and went to sit down. A few minutes later our number was called. I guess they just stopped bringing us our food. Came back with food and the spaghetti was just plain noodles with a little bit of mozzarella cheese. That was not what I ordered. While driving to Dallas on Wednesday evening, I wanted a different option for a quick meal other than burgers or tacos. Fazoli's provided me with a surprisingly serviceable portion of chicken parmesan, garlic breadsticks and iced tea for a lot less money than I've paid for worse food at a sit-down restaurant. I love this place SOOOO much and I cannot understand why so many of the Fazoli's locations have closed. I used to come here all the time in Louisiana when I was in school. You can't beat a drive thru Italian restaurant!! When I saw this location driving through Waco, I went nuts! I knew I just had to have it. I was so excited to eat Fazoli's that I ordered my twice baked lasagna and a slice of pepperoni pizza! To my amazement, the lasagna tasted better than ever. While we waited on our food, the staff presented us with their wonderful all you can eat breadsticks! Those sticks were full of butter and garlic....yumm! I can't say much about the food here... as I haven't eaten at Fazoli's since I moved to Dallas in January 2005. But on a recent trip home to visit my parents, I drove thru Long John Silvers to get dinner for my dad and I, and thru the drive thru of Fazoli's next door for my mom. I wanted something to drink, and knowing I can't get a BubbleTea in Waco I decided on a Frozen Peach Lemonade. Um, I should give Fazoli's 1 star for the sheer fact that their Frozen Peach Lemonades are soo good that my mother drank most of mine and I didn't even get to drink much of what I ordered. My last review was too generous. Stopped by there and was disgusted with the bland frozen variety Italian food. The dishes for the baked lasagna had a brownish baked on tomato sauce which was unappealing and unappetizing. The kid's cheese pizza has less flavor than a frozen pizza. The bathroom smelled terrible and was right next to the kitchen. I could have saved $20 by getting a Stouffer's lasagna and a Totino's pizza and taking it to the underground sewer. Also the stupid door hit my wife's foot on the way out somebody needs to fix the damn hinge on that thing. If they don't get sued for food poisoning somebody's going to sue for personal injury from that damn front door. Hopefully they will improve and don't run the same luck as the location that was formerly located in Temple. read more

This is always a must-have when traveling south on 35 from DFW. There is almost nothing on the menu that I wouldn't get. I almost always go with the Classic/Ultimate Sampler so I can get a little bit of lasagna, spaghetti, and penne with meat sauce, and fettuccine alfredo, Don't hesitate to ask for some more bread sticks...you won't be disappointed.
