Asked around about a good place to eat and was referred to this place. Very glad we took the suggestion. My food was absolutely delicious, I ordered the cedar planked salmon with a baked potato and sweet potato casserole. Everything was cooked superbly. My friends indulged in entrees that included fish & chips, steak, and seafood. Everything was fantastic. The key lime pie was amazing. My fiancé and I went on a busy Saturday night so our expectations wasn't too high due to the volume of people they were handling. But surprisingly the only thing that we had to endure was the wait time to be seated. After that everything went smoothly. We got the triple dip app. Which was a good food to just snack on while waiting for the entrée. The chips was subpar but the salsa, spinach, and queso dips was not bad at all! I saved the last bit of queso for my fries and crispy chicken sandwhich that I got. While my fiancé just got a bacon burger. Though both of the entrées wasn't huge portions, overall the quality on both was excellent! With an app and entrée we somehow had room for their "freshly made" key lime pie. The acidity was a tad bit to much the sweet raspberry sauce on the bottom of it really saved it, just wish there was more of that with the pie. Overall food was fantastic! Our waiter wasn't the most pleasant happy going server, but did a great job on refills and getting to us when needed. Little key factor that is different with this place is the sweet tea isn't really sweet but if you get an Arnold Palmer (which is listed on the menu) it creates that perfect balance!! Was hoping for a nice meal to match the ambience. We were greeted promptly, led to a table. We sat in an area that had 2 small tables with people already eating. The waiter walked past us and didn't even speak. We waited about 5 more minutes, then left. No one even noticed. Only thing I would suggest is on the old fashion.... dont fill the glass with water, invest in a bourbon soaked cherry instead of a red ice cream cherry and the orange wasn't burnet like the description said. I love FD'S Grillhouse! We meet a few friends for lunch. Tried the 3 dip appetizers, mushroom burger, kid's chicken tenders and grilled shrimps. Everything was so so good! I can taste real corn in it. The mushroom burger was cooked tender and had real good flavors, as well the chicken tenders. The grilled shrimps were cooked perfect, and matched the broccoli, flavorful rice and baked potato, to die for! We'll be back! read more

I cannot believe how good this place is and the prices are great too! My husband had the Crawfish Étouffée and ate every bite. It came with fried crawfish as well. I had the Chicken spinach pasta and it was amazing! Ask for extra red peppers. My daughter had brisket tacos and said they were rather bland. The crispy fried chicken salad is huge. The house salad has walnuts and apple slices with a sweet dressing. The wait is long at night but we did lunch on Saturday and walked right in. read more

The service was great, the food was excellent and the price was very affordable. My family had various items from their menu and we sampled each others choices. We have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. In Fact everything we have ordered has always been excellent. I can strongly recommend this salmon and my husband almost always gets the Hawaiian chicken, but honestly you can't go wrong with anything here. Timing though is everything. Now this is an experience... We called to reserve a table for 6:45 earlier that day. We all sat down at 7:00. the server had came by and got our drink orders while dropping off two more waters for the two people who already sat down. while brining the rest of the waters she brought two more waters. she got our appetizer order. At this point it is 7:10 there are 10 waters on the table for 5 people. the one star is deserved for our hydration. our waitress disappears... she is no where to be found. we are waiting and waiting for our server to come. finally a different server come and takes our order at 7:30. our appetizer comes a bit later. at this point we are contemplating on leave. we are waiting and waiting for our food. the new server is no where to be found. EVERYBODY around is has are and leafy already. we are so hungry and annoyed that our food is taking forever. we go to the front and ask where it is at. our server finally comes and says it will be out any minute. 20 minuets later our food arrived. Our food does not come until 8:30. we asked the food runner for the ticket. the food was not put in until 7:45. 15 minutes AFTER we order. 2 of our meals were wrong. I ordered brisket tacos with flower tortillas and my friend order shrimp tacos with corn. the tortillas were swapped. so now it has been an hour and half since we sit down, and our food is wrong. My friend was okay with flower tortillas, I asked for the waitress to just switch out the tortillas. (no biggie) so she comes back with a big tortillas with mozzarella cheese and 1 pice of pork. i said i ordered the tacos and she said this is the flower tortilla tacos. i said you have smaller ones can we do that? she said no we don't have smaller ones. i pointed to my friends taco and said you sure do he has flower tortilla tacos. she said she doesn't know. I said this is not what I ordered. please take it off. so now it has been an hour and 1/2 and no food. This was an awful experience and not worth it. they should of comped more after the 2 hours we were there with awful service and nobody around to help. read more

This place is a hidden gem and I wish there was one here at home in Waller, TX. Phenomenal food, the best priced steaks in my opinion and perfectly done.
