    Salmon salad

Feast and Fareway was a special place my fiancé and I went to the day before his deployment. We had good salads and THE OVERALL BEST calamari I've ever had! Only thing was the plate was too small. I wish I had more!! Then we went for brunch and had a nice big bowl of Greek yogurt with berries and the bacon was a bit more burnt than we'd like, eggs were awesome though! I'd go again and again for the calamari and truffle fries!! Perfect crunch!

My cousin and I wanted to get brunch with views and I'm so glad we found this place! The view of the golf course and the Coronado bridge at the same time is unbeatable here in San Diego. The downside was that the service was extremely slow and our coffee was not as hot/warm as I expected it to be. It was good, but I like my coffee coming out extremely warm. I didn't get a picture of our food because we waited long and we were hungry. I ordered the avocado toast and she ordered the chilaquiles. Both meals were very enjoyable!

The host and waitress were very friendly. Love that the entire space is dog friendly. The view is mostly of the course (which is lovely) and you can see people golfing or driving by in carts. They serve brunch until 3pm and I got the blue crab and crawfish Benedict. My egg was a bit overdone (the yolk was hard). We also shared truffle fries which were delicious. My husband got the Cobb salad which looked pretty standard and was good. Our waters were also never refilled during our meal.

Just went here for a reunion event luncheon. The place was amazing! Great food, great service, and a cool upscale vibe! I had their Cheeseburger and it was totally delicious. As were the fries. I fully intend to be back, on a regular basis!!

My friends and I sat outside on a perfect day for a Friday brunch when there was no wait, and the views of the water and Navy ships were gorgeous. I ordered the fresh squeezed OJ, American breakfast, and split the french toast. The potatoes were a bit underdone, but the French toast was the best I've had in a long time. I'd go back for the French toast and views 100%.

Years ago I had the best fish tacos here. Guess this is new restaurant/chef or??? Totally inedible! The batter was just a soggy mess of "something" but can't describe it. I scraped it off and found just a tiny bit of fish inside. It too was barely OK and not much flavor/taste. Now I wished I just sent it back to let the "cook" be aware of this failed dish. Instead, I'll just won't eat here again! Just get a beer and enjoy the view....what a shame!

Great Lunch Alternative to Hotel Del Prices My wife and I drove over to Coronado to explore the area and grab some lunch. After cruising around the island for a bit, we found a parking spot and walked along the beach. Eventually we got hungry and thought we'd check out the Hotel del Coronado. We looked at a few menus but quickly realized the prices were just way too high. I understand it's a high-dollar area, but dropping $100 on lunch wasn't what we had in mind. So we jumped in the car, pulled up Yelp, and found Feast and Fairway--figured we'd give it a shot. I didn't realize it was located at a golf course until we pulled into the lot. The restaurant was fairly busy, but we were seated right away. Our server quickly took our drink order while we looked over the menu. It was a Monday, and we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonably everything was priced. My wife ordered the Cobb salad and I went with the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. The food came out looking great, and everything tasted just as good. The burger was cooked perfectly, the onion rings were crispy, and even the pickles were solid. While we ate, we enjoyed watching people play golf--until a surprise downpour sent everyone running for cover. Some kept playing through it, which was fun to watch. Even with drinks and tip, our bill didn't hit $50. Feast and Fairway is a great spot if you're looking for a good meal without the steep Coronado price tag. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

Enjoyed the Eggs Benedict here, the eggs were perfectly poached! The service was good as well. Very nice atmosphere with patio seating available with view of putting/chipping green and water/bridge out further. Great prices for the food as well!

My family and I came here on a Sunday for brunch. I think we got the last table because other people had to wait. The service was so bad. My cousin's food came out way before everyone else's. She was done eating about 15 minutes before the other food came out. Food wasn't good. The traditional benedict was bland and the egg wasn't as runny. Potatoes and pancakes were dry. The fryer was broken so nothing fried like the fried chicken sandwich, onion rings, or fries could be ordered. Won't come back again.

Chefs special of the day, beef gyro type with a pita bread

We came here for lunch during happy hour Ambiance: Outside is a nice and relaxing. It's a great outside patio area. It's right next to the golf course Food: We got the chefs special for the day which was a beef gyro type in a pita bread and the goat salad with chicken. It did the job but next time I would want to try other items.

Perfect place for a relaxing breakfast away from the 4th of July crowds. Beautiful views and great food. Kids love coming here.

Our server was Chris and he was OUTSTANDING...very attentive and very friendly. Both managers visited our table several time to make sure we were good. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that what I had was just a bit underwhelming. We ordered the braised beef potstickers, california roll, and grilled and chilled shrimp for appetizers. The meat in the potstickers was very mushy. The california roll was decent. The grilled and chilled shrimp were fine. My husband had the filet - ordered medium well, served medium...the twice baked potato was very small and seemed to be overcooked. I had the lemon chicken entree - the taste was good, but was just a bit dry...it was served with fries, which was fine. The other couple ordered the skirt steak and the braised short ribs which they seemed to enjoy. My drink was amazing - the Amalfi Spritz. For dessert, we tried the butter cake...again, a bit underwhelming and not really good on flavor...I did taste the toffee and caramel, but the cake itself had no taste. Overall, I would go back because of the service, the drinks, and the ambiance.

C-Level never disappoints. We were seated right away after about a five minute wait. I did have a reservation on OpenTable but when we got there, there were several challenges I believe in the seating area. Once we were seated, I noticed Chef Deborah walking around. She was greeting customers and being her very friendly and professional self. I was so impressed. We ordered.: Tempura Artichoke Appetizer, Fish and Chips, and a Chicken Caesar Salad. Everything was DELICIOUS! It was also awesome because Chef Deborah came by to greet us and talk to us and I had a chance to express how much I really like her Casa Gabriella restaurant in La Mesa. I told her how I have been a fan of her restaurants for a long time and I absolutely miss Bo Beau that used to be in Hillcrest, and then Ocean Beach. She updated me that it is now located in Long Beach, which is still good to know. Being able to dine and speak with the actual executive chef of this brand was awesome. In my opinion, the true measure of a business is how it handles things when something goes wrong, and this restaurant handled the situation exactly the way a quality establishment should. Here's what happened: I stopped in briefly to use the restroom and grab one of the spritzers they make here. First off, the spritzer is absolutely delicious -- light, refreshing, and something I highly recommend if you visit. Unfortunately, my interaction with the host was less than stellar. I asked about ordering the spritzer and was told two things: 1. He didn't think they made it. 2. He "didn't have time." That response honestly caught me off guard. A paying customer walks in asking to purchase a product your restaurant does in fact make, and the answer is that you don't have time? Serving guests is literally the core function of hospitality. Thankfully, one of the waitresses, Rachel, who had helped me during a previous visit completely turned the experience around. I asked her for the drink and without hesitation she smiled and said, "Right away!" Within moments she returned with the spritzer in hand. Professional, courteous, and exactly the kind of service that keeps people coming back. I explained the interaction to her and she looked genuinely puzzled. I later mentioned it to the manager, whom I've met before and always found to be approachable, professional, and kind. He was clearly appalled by what happened and handled the situation with sincerity and care. That's exactly why this place continues to earn high marks from me. Problems can happen anywhere. What matters is whether management and experienced staff know how to recover -- and they absolutely did. The seasoned staff and management here understand hospitality. Based on this interaction alone, I honestly think the host may simply be better suited for a non-customer-facing role.

It's typically packed with kids and tourists, but it was a beautiful day and we wanted ocean views without the drive. We grabbed a corner spot with a $175 minimum, easy to hit when the menu is priced like everything was flown in from Monaco. Water: asked three times, never came. The fourth time we finally got it, and only because the manager dropped it off himself after my husband spoke to him. Water is the bare minimum. It shouldn't feel like a favor. The food came out in five minutes. Five. That's not a kitchen, that's a heat lamp. Lukewarm at best, some of it cold. The giveaway: they brought us a kids' chicken fingers plate, realized we'd ordered the adult portion, took it back, then sprinted off to grab the bigger version. That's a steam tray with a hostess. And the lobster Cobb? The lobster was cut into little circles. Circles. Lobster has never been a circle. The servers moved around like expressionless robots. When my husband politely asked to speak with the manager privately, out of respect for the staff, the manager came over looking like he couldn't care less. Somehow the service got worse after that. He comped a burger and one other item. We still walked out near $175. The cherry on top? His apology was throwing his own employee under the bus. "Yeah, he's had a lot of complaints lately." That's not a manager. That's Gossip Girl with a clipboard. Be a leader. Handle it behind the scenes. This is exactly why the staff is the way they are because leadership comes from the top and if that's broken the whole operation is broken. We left and went to The Dive rooftop at The Bower Hotel. Sat down, and within a minute someone dropped off water. We sat there genuinely grateful, which is when it hit us how badly we'd been treated. Save your $175. The view is free!!!!!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by an uplifting open-air environment, truly a breath of fresh air that felt like stepping onto the observation deck of the USS Enterprise. The amazing views of the bay were nothing short of spectacular, bringing a serene beauty that rivals the finest star systems. Over the years, my wife, her girlfriend, and I have become frequent travelers to this culinary haven, beaming back for nearly 15 years--a testament to its enduring allure. The selection of IPAs and mixed drinks is impressive, catering to even the most discerning palates in the galaxy. The choices are vast enough to satisfy anyone embarking on this flavor exploration, whether you prefer a refreshing drink to toast a successful mission or something bolder, like a phaser on stun! The menu features a delightful array of options, including fresh salads, tantalizing finger foods, and, of course, their famed burgers. My wife's enthusiasm for the offerings has always been infectious, and during this visit, she and her girlfriend were on a culinary adventure of their own, indulging in the flavors that have made Nicky Rottens a local favorite.
