Such a fun, relaxing restaurant with great views of the bridge and golf course. We sat outside and enjoyed the shade and view in the beautiful December afternoon. It was quiet on a weekday lunch and we had basically the entire outdoor area to ourselves. It was very casual and you can come in any regular clothes to have lunch. The food tasted great and the drinks were refreshing and well-priced. This place is really quite a hidden gem. The salmon salad was delicious and the appetizer of Quesadilla with salmon and guacamole was also good. It is such a lovely area and bright and happy. Would love to go back. Emailed Katie Bartlett - the corporate director of sales, to get some pricing on having a party there, I was shocked at how little she cared for my business. She seemed uninterested, and provided a guesstimate on what my price would be without even asking me anything about what I was looking for. Almost like she thought I was too poor so why waste her time. You would think that for a potential client a with a budget of $20k, she'd show a little more interest. But then again it's Coronado, maybe she only likes to work with clients who are worth millions. Definitely didn't book there, and of course she never followed up. read more

We got items from their brunch menu and these were the items we tried: Sampler: maple bacon and lemon raspberry pancakes (lemon raspberry was my favorite out of the two) and banana foster french toast. Shrimp & Grits: so good! Flavorful shrimp and love the corn pieces Meatloaf Hash: Pesto sauce and not the typical hash that I'm used to and not much meatloaf in it Overall, everything was very good, staff is super friendly and you can't beat the views of the place. I've been here several times now. The food is always amazing, the prices are great! Especially for Coronado. But almost every single time we've come, it's been on a week day when there's maybe 5-6 tables seated and it takes FOREVER to get a waiter over at any point during the visit. They're always very friendly but the service is incredibly slow. Which I don't understand when there's three waiters for 6 tables. I love coming here bc the food is always amazing and the prices are great but the service is very lackluster and honestly just sucks with the speediness. read more

We held a celebration of life at the venue. The planning and response from the team was timely and very well planned - right down to calls to plan the layout. The view from the patio and the table set up - allowed us to enjoy the gorgeous sunny day but also be covered and cool with a gentle breeze. We chose to do hot passed apps (high praise for the fried ravioli and bruschetta) and a buffet with sandwiches, pasta salad, charcuterie and hummus for 50. The food was good. The issue we ran into was service. I never actually met or could find the day of event coordinator. The food on the buffet ran out - and I had to chase down the servers to get it refilled but things were not ready to immediately put on the buffet (e.g. pita bread had to be prepared?). The hot passed apps came out slowly from the kitchen - which I think distracted the servers from being able to ensure the buffet was filled. We had preordered a Vegan meal and had to follow up 3 times before the meal made it out to our guest. Was disappointed with the flow from the kitchen. I might go back as an individual diner - I'm not sure I'd book another event at this location. read more

Looked for a brunch spot to go to while my daughter was at dance practice, and this place had some great Yelp reviews and the menu was very reasonable considering the location. When we drove into the parking lot, I didn't realize the restaurant was actually part of the public golf course, which was a pleasant surprise. Seating was open, so my hubby and I opted to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful mild winter weather and the view of the Coronado Bridge and the bay. It was very relaxing and serene, and the brunch cocktails made the experience ever more enjoyable. I had a couple of grapefruit mimosas and my husband ordered the candied bacon bloody Mary. My highlight was the shrimp and grits, which were so flavorful and creamy. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and I added a few dashes of hot sauce since I prefer my food a little spicy. Located at the clubhouse, Feast & Fareway offers a plethora of seating indoor as well as outdoor. The dining room takes advantage of the views its high ceilings and large windows giving you views for days. There is a walk up bar on both sides of the facility with a nice selection of spirits and craft beers. They have an excellent menu specifically the Golfer Menu available from 3:00PM - Close ranging from steak & frites, wings, calamari, nachos, flatbread and burgers. For this after round meal, I went with their cheeseburger and fries. I enjoyed as its served on this large heavy cutting board, cooked to order with all the fixings. The fries even come in a cute frying basket. Overall a great dining experience with attentive staff, good food and awesome views. This is a hidden San Diego gem! Not huge, but well varied menu, and very reasonable prices. The outside seating views are FANTASTIC! Not only the Coronado golf course in the foreground, but San Diego & the bay in the background. On the S side, even the shipyards look good - lol. I'm a Rueben connoisseur, and they do it right. Hamburgers with the meat actually made the way it was ordered, salads with a good helping of protein, and tasty, full-pour, reasonably priced drinks. Excellent breakfast menu, too. My husband had a tee time at the Coronado Golf Course and we decided to have brunch at the restaurant on site. I had made reservations prior to our arrival but it didn't seem too busy since it was a Thursday afternoon so you could get by without one if you're visiting during the week. My husband ordered the fish tacos and I had the Italian sausage omelet. Both dishes were good and we have no complaints! We find patio dining at a golf course patio hard to beat, and this is the case with Feast & Fareway. This is a municipal golf course (BTW the course is incredibly flat!!) located on the south east side of the island and open to the public. While I'm a terrible golfer, I do enjoy hitting balls at the driving range. Of course, the view is great (see the background on my beverage drinks pic). We had the Eggs Benedict and Cobb Salad. The Eggs Benedict were okay. The eggs poached just right. The Hollandaise sauce was understated and skimpy. The country fries were simple and lacked flavor. The Cobb Salad had fresh greens. The flavorful items: bacon, ham and blue cheese, were okay. The avocado was fresh. The view and weather were great, and our food was okay. If you are biking the island, their bike racks are conveniently in the front. Next time, we'll be trying their sandwiches for they looked and smelled fantastic. read more

Having a dog friendly area is a huge thing for us as we have two mini schnauzers that we always take out with us on our weekend outing. I always thought dog parents were crazy until I became one lol. We planned an outing to Coronado and like always, I checked out Yelp to see where we would end up eating. I chose this place due to the dog friendly patio, the food, the ample parking, and the ambience. Boy oh boy, did this place hit the mark on all of those areas. As well as an additional one: service. Huge parking lot with plenty of available spaces. All the staff were very kind and accomodating as far as the dogs went. They brought them individual water bowls and gave them lots of pats. There were a couple of other dogs enjoying the patio as well. The food was fantastic. I had a blue crab and crawfish benedict, and BB had shrimp and grits. You can see in one of the pictures the bright orange yolk from the poached egg. That is a sign of a farm fresh/pastured egg. The taste was great. BB's shrimp and grits were good too as I had a couple of spoonfuls of it. They have their house label ketchup and hot sauces on the table, both were excellent. The waitress was attendant, positive, and provided superb service. The view was out of this world. As this place is located inside a golf course country club area, there are lush greenways which extend out to the bay. Absolutely stunning. The only downside to our visit was the coffee, which was lukewarm and bland. Next time I will bring it up if it occurs again. This is definitely a place worth checking out for all the aforementioned reasons and definitely a place that we will be returning to. read more
