Took my Mom here before a show at the Bob Hope Theatre. Super close, 2 blocks away, so that great location in that regard. The inside of the restaurant was really nice, big brick wall and cool looking bar area. Our server was a little iffy despite us being 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant. We weren't informed of happy hour or specials (overheard another waitress telling the table next to us). The wings were excellent, as was the shrimp pasta. The ribeye was very large, and the vegetable serving was plentiful, although the cut of the steak wasn't uniformly thick, so the outside of the steak was basically well done while the middle was as ordered (medium rare). The steak was $42, so expectations were higher than what was served. However, it might have just been a one off and the rest of the food and ambience was solid so I would give it another chance. read more

Nope. Very expensive place to dine, first of all. We got 2 burgers and 2 beers and it came to $70. I should have taken a picture of the receipt. Nothing worse than leaving a place feeling like you've been ripped off. When we got there, there was another couple eating there and a few guys finishing up what looked like after work dinner and beers. There were also 2 guys at the bar, who the bartender was very attentive to. (Cool) But as we left.... Us being the only patrons in the restaurant (besides the 2 guys at the bar) they bartender and waitress didn't even notice. If they noticed, they cared not to tell us "Thanks for coming in" or any type of acknowledgement that we were leaving. I thought that was kind of rude No one else ever came in to eat while we were there. A lot of mingling at the bar though. Burgers were tasty. Not worth what we spent tho. read more

My first time here and it was for a birthday party. Not too fond of the location so we made sure not to stay out too late. The restaurant is small but the ambiance is presented nicely. From the decor, tables, chairs, food, cleanliness and staff. I decided to order the Angry bird burger (I think that's what it's called). It's basically a spicy chicken sandwich. It was delicious however, it was super spicy! If you can't handle spice I suggest maybe having the habanero sauce on the side. Also, it has sliced jalapeños on the burger. I could barely finish half of my burger because it was so spicy so I took the rest to go. I chose regular fries which were good too but a little salty. My boyfriend had the mushroom burger with sweet potato fries and he enjoyed it! Overall, we had a good dining experience. I would come back. read more

Decent chicken sandwich. Awesome vodka shrimp pasta. Bad service imo. All aspects of that were bad. The tap beer I ordered came out an inch low from being full. Honestly I don't think the kegs are kept cold enough. Beer wasn't that cold. All good. I drank it because I love draft beer. But get this..., no one asked me once if I'd like another. Or even if my wife and I would like more water. In fact no one checked in on us after our meals were brought out. My order was wrong and I had to flag someone down for help. I asked for no mayo, I ended up just scraping it all off. I asked for new lettuce, pickles tomato since it was globbed with mayo. Only lettuce and pickles came out. I asked for Tabasco and tapitio and only tapitio was brought out lol. Right as the bill came the waitress asked if my wife wanted another drink. But didn't ask if I wanted a beer lol. I mean come on lol. I got the short end of the stick for sure last night. My wife's shrimp pasta was excellent. The bun and crispiness of my chicken was excellent. I think the blonde red haired waitress must have been clocked out in her mind because it wasn't busy. I counted 5 tables of people and there was 2 people handling them. All good. I usually don't take a break from a place, but honestly, for a $70 meal, I'd like to be checked in on and given a little customer service. No beer, no water, no seeing how the food was. Mistakes happen and can be fixed. But not if you don't see how your customers are doing. I think I'll try that new hot chicken place in town for an actual spicy chicken sandwich. I like spicy and even if you order it Xtra hot, it's like a 1/10 on spicy. Not to pile on. While I was eating, I watched a girl at the bar take 10min to make 3 drinks. It was kinda insane lol. I watch to much bar nightmare and kitchen nightmares I think. The speed and skill sets on these employees are like they have 0 training or are extremely new. The girl who sat us was excellent tho. It was a lady manager that afternoon, very rude to the customers. We dined in for lunch on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, we had a Cesar Salad salad & Steak Sandwich. The steak was not tender and the salad my 3 year old could have made. We chose the Cesar because it advertised home made crouton.. wrong even the waitress said we don't make them anymore. Had a wonderful experience here last night. Our server was wonderful, great personality. Ambiance is exactly what I look for when dining. It's a fun, inviting and intimate environment and we really enjoyed it. The food was great- asada fries, shrimp skewers and FED burgers were enjoyed by my group. The Clean AF drink was delicious as was the blueberry martini. The gummy bear shots somehow really taste like gummy bears. We didn't care for the jolly rancheria and our server changed it out for another drink, which was awesome of her! The steaming old fashioned, not sure if I got the name right, was also amazing. I discovered this place through my foodie girlfriend. We initially went to a sold out comedy show. The vibe was nice from the moment we walked in. Everyone was friendly and energetic too. I've had a second opportunity to come during brunch. It was also great. Had the pleasure of meeting Ashley and Jose. French toast with fresh fruit and a Bloody Mary was just what the doctor ordered. we selected the FED for our wedding celebration luncheon mainly for convenience. it's walking distance to the county wedding chapel and the parking structure is next door. i talked to sylvia the floor manager about what we wanted in terms of number of guests, appetizers, table set up, tabs handling, etc. our instructions were followed to the tee. the food was excellent and came out in a timely manner. our special drinks requests always on time. what made our experience special was the TLC and added touches they provided without the asking. the decorations and customer service made our wedding day extra special. thank you for the added the touch of asking what type of music we'd like to hear throughout the evening. congratulations sylvia & crew on a VERY successful 1st wedding celebration at the FED! we highly recommend your restaurant for any special occasion. read more

My husband, son, and I dined here over a month ago. I didn't know what to expect before I arrived but as we walked into the restaurant we took the in the scenery. There's a big bar and limited seating, but I can say we liked that and the lighting in the FED. My husband and I ordered the prime rib, mines came with a salad, and his mashed potatoes. My son had a hamburger. All in all nice vibes, good food with a menus that's not to busy, and nice customer service. I hear they have a live DJ on Friday and Saturday.
