Started out with the loaded Brussels as an appetizer and was hands down some of the best Brussel sprouts I've had. Came with this aioli sauce which was such a great touch! My mom got the great little salad which was delicious! You can make any salad a half salad from their menu which is perfect if you want that and pizza. For dinner got the pepperoni pizza and added olives and artichoke. SO GOOD! Perfect amount of cheese and sauce. The dough was light, not too thick not too thin! Will for sure be coming back! Service sucks. Food is really good but this will be my last time coming here. I've been here couple times let me tell you my experience first person took our order, second person brings our drinks, and third person brings us our food but that's not the only problem nobody came and check up on us like nobody we needed drink refills. Just got takeout from Federal Pizza, I will say the pizza is so-so, at least as takeout. The wings though!!!!!! Those might be the best wings I've ever had. The honey hot sauce has a bit of a citrus taste to it which I didn't love, but the Buffalo is unreal.. roll your eyes back in your head at first bite it's so yummy. I just recently moved to Phoenix and was looking for a restaurant that would accommodate my dietary restrictions. It has been so difficult finding a place here that has (delicious) gluten free options! A coworker of mine suggested Federal Pizza and I gave it a shot. Right off the bat, the atmosphere was great! They followed CDC requirements so that was a plus. My server was Veronica (hope I'm spelling that correctly) -- she was phenomenal! So helpful and walked me through their menu and suggested dishes that fit my craving and diet! The coolest thing about this place is that you can modify any and ALL dishes here so I ended up ordering a modified gluten free Big Star and it was perfect. Our first time. Amazing service! What a great team of people. They are all very attentive, know their menu well and sociable. This made a huge impression on my husband and I. We ordered Brussels sprouts and cheese/risotto balls (Arancini) appetizers, The Magnificent sandwich, Chef's Whim pizza (chicken, collard greens, ribeye gravy, pickled watermelon, cheese), cannoli and Bombolini (homemade donuts and chocolate sauce). We loved everything we ordered. It's nice to find original menus that make you want to try everything. Ari was kind enough to make my wine selection effortless by choosing for me. I had the new Rosè wine. Perfect pairing with my meal and refreshing. Relaxing and casual atmosphere. We were on the patio. I usually worry about patio service but they didn't miss a beat and our drinks were always full. We were even there during a shift change and didn't feel a thing in our service. Pretty good pizza. Wings are better. You can tell everything is fresh and high quality, but some of the attempts at creativity fall short. Some of the pizzas could you a little better sauce flavor or even a drizzle of something on the top. I go to joyride across the way several times a week, and always peak across to take a look at federal. But, I do not find the staff here to be nearly as friendly, hospitable, or welcoming. (specifically the guy with the ponytail behind the bar). I just heard one of the wait staff, possibly the manager, softly laugh with the gentleman, sarcastically, about a guests request. WINGS TRAVEL GREAT. I live 30 minutes away and whenever I'm in the area I always order wings to go. When I get home they are still SO CRISPY!! I'll order wings from a place right near me and they're this crispy even when I specify "extra crispy". These wings, ESPECIALLY the honey hot, are amazing and the ranch is fantastic. I will say that I generally modify orders via adding chicken to pizzas, etc and the expense per visit it high. All things considered, this place is the best pizza & wings Ive had in Arizona. The venue is gorgeous, the hours are fantastic for AZ, and the location is great. I crave the Big Star w/ Chicken weekly... Considerations: The service heavily varies as some staff seem to be more attentive than others. Came into federal pizza on a Tuesday night with my wife and we did their specialty pizza and a bottle of wine special for 20 bucks. Insane deal! The pizza was a great size and the Chardonnay that we got was nice. Our server was a really awesome guy and he gave us so many great suggestions and tips. He let us know that we could do half and half pizzas to try more then just one pizza option which we did. I got the patata Bianca pizza which was good overall but unfortunately a lot of the potatoes were not cooked on the pizza. A lot of them were actually pretty crunchy for not being cooked all the way. My wife got the Casanova pizza and she said she really enjoyed that. We also ordered the wings and polenta fries. The wings were actually really good. I wasn't a huge fan of the honey hot, it was too much honey and not enough hot. The buffalo wings were good though. Polenta fries were crispy and had a nice dip to go with it. I would highly recommend going on Monday or Tuesday night after 8pm to get that pizza and wine special. Great deal. read more

Wanted to love this place and was so excited for the pizza/wine special. However I got my pizza it was undercooked so they made me a new one even more undercooked. When talking to the waitress she was very understanding and tried to correct it after making sure "it just wasn't their pizza I didn't like". Just looking at them you could see the dough was raw. I ended up just getting a margarita pizza which was ehh. Was told the manager would come over and he never did. Then our waitress switched over, the original one said we're not going to charge you for the two pizzas and take 15$ off your total. When getting the check they had only taken off the two extra pizzas and not the 15$ off so basically I was charged the regular price as if there was no issues with the pizza. When bringing this up to the new waitress she didn't correct it. Overall was pretty disappointed, with the service and food. read more
