We drive by this FedEx Ship Center every week when we go to the Costco store and didn't know that you can drop off any packages. We thought it was only for businesses that have many packages or large shipments. With lots of parking and with an excellent staff, the service go fast. If there are a lot of people ahead of you, the wait time is around 6-8 minutes. The staff are very efficient and hospitable! read more

There is a line of 7 people, the customer before us was waiting for a manager. Should either open up more stations or quickly tend to other customers. Definitely needed to hire more staff. I was there for quite awhile to send 5 packages totaling about 200 pounds on behalf of my company so I let regular customers with smaller boxes go first and they are very helpful with information. So the first problem is, they have merged with FedEx ground so the system was messed up. My package didn't come like it was supposed to because of the system when I went into the building on Johnson Drive the shipping building I was helped by irnesa and ray immediately and although it was a bad start because of the system, they were able to find my package and give it to me, future reference for those who use FedEx a lot make sure they have the right information in the system so that you can retrieve your package. They have great customer service and I was able to be help immediately. I don't know about the cost because the vendor paid for shipping. All I know is the customer service is awesome. read more

Beware of this Fedex location . We were not home for a signature authorized delivery of a package. I spoke to the delivery person from this office through my smart doorbell and he said he would return it to the Pleasanton Ship Center where we could pick it up. He did not leave a delivery tag. When we went to the Ship Center, the very rude counter person made us wait for 45 minutes and then declared that they did not know where the package was. Later, we contacted Fedex 800 customer service and they reported the package as delivered and signed for by some unknown name. Completely undermines the point of signature authorization. Fedex is taking no responsibility since their system shows it was delivered and signed at our address. They said we have to work it out with the shipper. I still cannot believe that they think they can get away with this. Small claims action coming. read more

I can't say enough good things about the team at the FedEx Ship Center, especially Tami Kearney and Chano (Donaciano) Mata-Silva. They went above and beyond for me on not one, but two critical occasions. The first time, I was waiting on an endorsed FDA letter I needed to fly internationally with my cat. The letter was only valid for 10 days, and my flight was early Sunday morning. Unfortunately, the letter was scheduled for Monday delivery, but it arrived at FedEx on Saturday. I went in person on Friday to explain my situation to Tami, who made sure to document everything and pass it along to the manager. On Saturday, Chano spoke with me and informed his team, who were emptying the package containers, to keep an eye out for my letter and set it aside for me. The anxiety of possibly missing my flight and losing hundreds of dollars for the endorsed letter and thousands for the plane ticket was overwhelming, but an hour and a half before closing, they called to let me know they found it. Thanks to their help, I was able to make my flight the following morning! The second more recent time, I was shipping packages across the country, one containing frozen items. I was shocked at the cost--approximately $520 for one package! Tami suggested a more cost-effective option, saving me over $300, and even helped pack my items in-store. Her kindness and expertise were really appreciated. I don't leave many reviews, but these instances warranted it. Tami, Chano, and the team truly exemplify customer service. Because of them, I'll always choose this FedEx location. Thank you all! read more

Update from 12/3/2024: - You might as well wait for the tag on your door & sign it for delivery the next day, because you probably won't make it to the door on time the first time they deliver. FedEx customer service is not up to par with UPS & Amazon, adding to the number of other people who said the same thing. I work in the medical field, so I was relieved that my package was coming in after my work hours. I didn't even have 10 seconds to go to the door and they left a tag. It takes 15 seconds to walk from my living room to the front door, btw I'm a fast walker. For the elderly people out there I would recommend sitting in the front of your house waiting for them, or you will have to go to their location to pick up your package. The time stamp marked was at 5:33PM, though they definitely came at 5:45PM, since I heard their vehicle in front of my door, which mean they time stamped it early, probably to cover themself. I called customer service to let them know and they tried solutions but didn't give any options other than to wait the next day. They also giggled over the phone while I was telling them the details, which means the customer service issue stems company wide. Some of these people don't care about their job and if I acted like that in my job people would permanently go blind. I wish companies stopped using FedEx, because even at my previous jobs they had trouble getting glasses & contact lenses in on time. After this package, I want to notify any company that I purchase from to avoid FedEx and would rather pay more to go through another shipping company. read more

This FedEx Center couldn't deliver a package on time for the life of them. I understand why the UPS union is asking for more pay for their drivers as they are the most reliable delivery service at this time. I used to cringe when I saw that a package was being delivered by OnTrac, but they're better than FedEx right now. They miss delivery dates more than 50% of the time. Unfortunately, some of the companies I do business with only contract with FedEx. I may have to find new suppliers that don't solely contract with FedEx. read more

Not the most organized of shipping centers but there was hand sanitizer available at most of the surfaces and the doors and verification of shipping addresses were all touch less! This driver, a caucasian guy, pressed our Ring video doorbell, doesn't even wait one second, immediately turned around with our package speedily walked back into his FedEx truck and drove away while we tried to flag him down to stop! Stopped by yesterday to buy some mailing materials, but I needed to staple something first. I asked if they had a Big Stapler (needed to staple 70 pages) and "manager on duty" T (name redacted) said they do, but he didn't know where it was. He looked in a grand total of one place and didn't find it. Despite the fact that most of their copiers would easily staple 70 pages automatically, he could have offered to do that (as a workaround), but he did not. I left the line and then came back and told him that I found it hard to believe that a FedEx Copy and Ship store would somehow not be able to help me staple something like this (after all, what would happen if they actually got a big copy order; this was a big store, all about copying, printing, and shipping). He then exclaimed "What do you want from me?", like I was pestering him to clean his room or something. All of a sudden getting confrontational. No offer to help, no "I'm sorry, I wish I could help", nothing. The next day I went to another FedEx and they helped me in 2 minutes while not missing a beat. Do not use FedEx Ground for your packages. Their 'contract drivers' are incredibly lazy and dump packages in front of garages in plain view despite being warned about package thieves prowling the area. Apparently it's too much effort to get out of their truck and walk the package around the corner (takes seconds) and ring doorbell to ensure packages is not visible. Had two packages stolen past year within hours of delivery - FedEx could care less since this meets their definition of 'delivery' (it's 'delivered' if driver marked it 'delivered'). Told the neighborhood driver not to do this - he made a show of walking the next package to the door, then when out of sight returned to dumping packages in front of garages/driveways again. All their drivers care about is making quota, not making actual deliveries. Neither UPS nor USPS do this (UPS driver knew right away it was FedEx when I asked if UPS drop packages in plain view). You can tell who made the deliveries by where the package is placed. If you can see it - it's FedEx. read more

My first experience with FedEx deliver services and to be quite frank with you, I am not impressed. I am more like disappointed to the MAX! So, I like the idea that FedEx makes 3 attempts to deliver you package to your house. Although they advertise flexible schedule, I was not able to schedule one when I attempted to do it online. Nevertheless, they returned the following day for their 2nd attempt and I still missed them....Womp womp! Alas, after three attempts to your house, you are instructed to pick up your package, but after the 2 day and it still hasn't been picked up-it gets return back to the sender. With that being said..... One thing I do appreciate is how late they are open! For working people like myself, I don't get home till 'round 530PM and by that time I arrive home, everything seems to be closed for the day. So it was nice to see that FedEx makes an exception. They are open till 6:30PM during the weekdays. BUT.... The service is so DARN slow!! Cum' on people! What's the hold up? I just don't understand. I went to pick up my package at 6PM and I was 3rd in line. No lie-I didn't leave till 645PM. SMH! I heard all kind of excuses from the staff: The computers are slow; opps, the computer just froze; I have to head to the back to get packages. OMG! My review is for Caressa. My company had a project where I had to FedEx boxes to customers individually. I had about 13 to send. I had gone in a week prior and the lady at the counter did not want to help me, she said since I had an account number I should do it at home. I tried, didn't work. I don't have an account I just use my company's account number. I reluctantly went back a week or so with just three boxes, thinking I would do them just a few at a time. This time Caressa helped me. She was so nice and helpful, she even agreed to help me with the remaining 10 that were in my car because I was afraid to bring them in the first time. This week I had to eight to send. She greeted me with a smile, and helped me get my boxes sent! Project done! I will definitely look for her next time I need to send something via FedEx. They have a great employee in her! read more

Not only was she quick, but she also bound my copies of certifications, recommendations etc. Well that helped land me the job! My new employer was completely impressed by how professional it looked. A big heavy box was placed on my front drive that doesn't belong to me. Not addressed to me nor even in the same zip code. Box says it contains 2/2 trampoline. So half a trampoline! I called FedEx and they said they have no record of it though it clearly states a tracking number, name of person it is to go to and their address. Since FedEx claims they have no shipping order on it they cannot do anything. My options are: find a way to get to a FedEx office, keep it or throw it in landfill. This box is extremely heavy! At 6:15, his package was shipped, and as I slowly walked towards the counter, confused (as nobody was inviting me to), I waited while the worker scanned boxes left to ship - as if that couldn't be done when there wasn't a line of, at this point, five people. Making conversation wasn't this lady's strong suit either, as she retorted to my "How are you" with a grumpy "Busy!". She then talked about taking a ten minute break, filling her water cup with ice... As if the center wasn't going to close in 15 minutes anyway. It appears that the people at this center are either suffering from being overworked to the point of not having the capacity of filling out address labels and slapping them on post boxes, or merely poor morale. read more

This is for "FedEx" Ship Center in Pleasanton, CA. I must preface this review with a personal note. I am a disabled Senior and do not drive. I rely on online shopping and count on delivery companies. I placed an order for personal incidentals and something for my "Emotional Support Therapy" dog. I placed the order on October 1 at Target.com, AMADOR Center, Dublin, CA. Sadly, Target uses "FedEx" for shipments. And, this isn't "my first rodeo" with FedUp I mean "FedEx. I started calling "FedEx" on October4. All I got was an automated run around for five days. I finally spoke to a breathing human, "Alex in Guatemala". He was sympathetic to my situation. I told Alex that I NEED the package delivered TODAY. He advised that he would do his best and elevated the situation to a supervisor. In between my tears of frustration, I thanked Alex and said goodbye. I indicated on more than one occasion, delivery person MUST call me to enter the secured building. At 4:23, there was a knock at my door. I thought, "Yay!! FedEx got the message, even though the person DID NOT call me. It was my neighbor who said, "There is a giant package, outside the complex, by the mailboxes, inside. Sure enough, my neighbor had moved the package inside and another neighbor carried it to my door. What happened to "pride in your work" and to strive to deliver "superior service"???? I have no problems with the FedEx center, however there are major problems with the deliveries. First issue back in December. The drop off was placed in my driveway in the rain, in full view for someone to easily help themselves to my new laptop. Before I called the customer service I personally asked my carrier if he could please place all future deliveries on my doorstep like the previous carrier did. He said he would. His next delivery again was left back in my driveway. This time I called the 800 number and of course they apologized and promised to placed on my doorstep the next time. Well that didn't happen so I had to call them again. If you have ever called their customer service it usually take 3 attempts to get passed the lame robot. To date the carrier still doesn't place on my doorstop as requested but in my walkway approx 10 feet away from where he has been leaving it but still in the open, If only he could walk just 5 more feet. I had zero problems with the previous carrier for years left on my doorstep without being asked. So I know this guy is just lazy. My latest 2 issues happen when on August 8th., it was missed delivered to someone up the street and again 21 days later on August 29th my next package again was missed delivered to a house 4 doors down the street. Well at least he could read what street it as to go to but he doesn't know how to read 4 numbers that are clearly marked in the front of my house!?!? There are more issues to write about but I resent having to waste anymore of my time on such incompetence having to write this review, let alone dealing with a stupid robot all morning. read more
