A few months ago I learned of a business by the name The Perfect Packer. I called Suzanne, the owner, and explained that we were in the market for a new house in South Carolina. We needed help and she said that she could take care of all of our household goods. This morning Lisa, Dawn and Michelle arrived, on time, cheerful, with all needed supplies and ready to pack! They evaluated the project, broke into packing teams and began the arduous task of taking care of our belongings from house to box. Efficient and always in good humor these ladies were able to pack most of a 2400SF home in less than eight hours! Their professionalism and attention to detail in all that they did was apparent as they used their knowledge and expertise in packing and protecting our things. TOTAL FLAKE!!! UNPROFESSIONAL I called Suzanne a couple of weeks ago and explained that I needed some help packing for a move. I provided her with the date I needed her help. She explained she would like to come to my house to get a sense of what she could do to help and provide me with an estimate. We booked an appointment for the estimate but she FAILED to show up for the estimate. I had to call and text her and she FINALLY responded to me almost an hour after the appointment was scheduled. I would like to note that I stayed home from work so I could meet with her for the estimate. When she finally responded to me she told me she was TOTALLY booked the day I had requested service. If she was booked on the day I requested service, then she should have made that clear to me when I spoke with her originally. Then she has the audacity to tell me that it is not HER fault because she is booked on the day I needed service. If she was already booked the day I needed her service she should have told me that when I first talked with her a couple of weeks ago!!! Then I would have found someone else to help me. This person is a total flake who does not have her act together. She cannot even keep track of her appointments nor can she keep track of when people need her services. read more

I really needed some help as organization is not my strength, and I need to move a bunch of things from one house to another. The perfect packer was a huge help. My wife was not interested in having a bunch of random guys going through her things so these women made her much more comfortable. The reason they get five stars however is for service. Not only did they work with my tight schedule, they unpacked quickly, and in a way that made sense. When I went to look for things they unpacked, they were right where I thought they should be. She helped me sort through 2 garages and a full outdoor covered patio to help downsize and prepare for a move. I remember on Day 1 there were so many things I wasn't ready to let go of, yet when the items were revisited after multiple weeks I was able to donate and get rid of much more of those Day 1 items because she took the time to talk through things with me and remind me of my end goal. While I was overwhelmed and frazzled trying to pack the house with 3 kids "helping", Suzanne came in restored calm. Efficient, professional, and kind, she took charge where I needed her. She brought specialized tools and boxes. Perfectly sized picture frame boxes, she taped/secured items that could open during transit, she showed me tricks to moving large amounts of clothes faster and more effectively. Suzanne is FANTASTIC! Not only is she terrific at packing but she also provides expert advice along the way. Immediately I felt as if I had a new best friend. I appreciated all of her purging and packing tips and expertise. One of the best things I did was have her help my 27 year old daughter purge. My daughter listened to her and the whole activity was painless. Suzanne even gave advice on pets and what moving does to that whole aspect. What a wonderful lady. Suzanne is "the perfect packer". We were originally going to pack ourselves. Thank God we came to our senses and hired Suzanne. She was fantastic. I love how she organized our boxes and the contents so that we could find things easily. I had to find a suit jacket for my son the day after we packed the house and it was so easy to go to the exact box where Suzanne had packed. She made the whole move so much easier - thinking of things we hadn't thought of, providing materials for packed and wrapping our furniture and having a calm presence in the midst of our chaos. Best packing service and affordable! We have known Suzanne for a while but have never needed her services. We needed help packing. She made an appt with us in just a few days. We went over everything and any type of extra boxes we would need for odd items. We then had to move up the date in a days notice. She moved things around and her crew showed up a few days earlier for us and on time. Its was a stressful time but her and her crew were so nice and made it seamless. I highly recommend the Perfect Packer team! My experience with the Perfect Packer was "PERFECT". My job relocation was unexpected and I had very little time to get my belongings prepared for the move. Sharon went the extra mile fitting me into her schedule and I received an estimate within 24 hours. She and her team of expert packers came to my house on time and were so friendly and professional and made the chore of moving actually seem fun! Everything was packed securely and boxes were labeled clearly. When the moving company brought everything to my new house, the Perfect Packer labeling system helped expedite placing the boxes in the right rooms making my unpacking process go quickly and smoothly. I would not recommend The Perfect Packers to anyone. I have moved 3 homes in the past 5 years. I chose to hire The Perfect Packers for my most recent move. It was the absolute worst packing job I have ever seen. Very little packing materials were used. I do not find a piece or two of packing paper thrown at the bottom of the box to be sufficient to protect those items inside the box and believe me they were not sufficient. Two examples: One item I received damaged was a 28" floral wall hanging which should have been carefully wrapped, padded and packaged. Instead it was used as the padding between a ceramic statue and a rod iron wall hanging with nothing in between to protect it. Needless to say is was broken into 5 pieces. Another item was a floral centerpiece for the dining room table. This was not boxed because they did not have the correct size so it was wrapped in paper and a small amount of bubble wrap around the top. This arrived not only damaged but destroyed (see picture attached). I will say that the unbreakable magazine rack from the office was in its own box and was wrapped in a lot of paper. When I contacted them they told me that they were insured and would need original receipts for the items or some information on what a replacement cost would be. After searching the internet for the closest "like" replacement items they were unwilling to reimburse that amount. Instead they sent me a check for less than half of what it will cost me to replace the items. If you decide to use The Perfect Packers I would strongly recommend that you obtain 3rd party insurance to cover any damages. read more

Suzanne and a team of two more packer/unpackers did a great job. They worked for 5 hours and by the time they left my heart was singing. Although they didn't pack me up for the move (I wish I would have hired them to do that), they did a great job unpacking the kitchen, a child's room and an office, and getting my items put away and/or sorted. They also went above and beyond helping me move some light furnishings back into place. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to both PACK and UNPACK your items. read more

I recently had the opportunity to try their services and I have to say Suzanne and her crew were wonderful. They came in and worked with me to completely pack my house and arrange my move professionally and in a timely manner.
