This was a cute place! Love how it is uniquely decorated, very clean and well staffed. The food was tasty! They offer breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal (sweet and savory) and other breakfasty treats. They also have baked goods for sale. You order at the counter and then they bring you your food to the table. Only thing I wished was that they served milk with my oatmeal (a common thing right?) and that they had brown raw sugar available for coffee, not just the white processed stuff. But id go again. Totally sucked! Ordered shakshuka and the eggs for hard boiled when I asked to send it back the waitress told me they were over medium when they were clearly hard boiled! Amazing service and the food was bomb. Got the chop chop sandwich which was vegan (!!!!) and one of the best vegan sandwiches I've ever had hands down. Amazing side salad comes with it too. So impressed! We called in our food to pick-up, and when we got there the place was packed. Hey have an expedited line for call-in orders and it was fast and fresh despite their business. Staff was welcoming and seemed to be enjoying the rush and rocking it. Food was AMAZING, light and refreshing. I guess Feeds only objective is to cater to the tourist. We loved the food at Feed but they Recently raised the price of the breakfast sandwiches by $2 and also decided that if you wanted to substitute salad or fruit instead of potatoes for $2.50 or $3.50 respectively. Oh my! This is my go-to for breakfast, brunch and lunch. I usually order from the breakfast menu everytime: micro-greens (egg sandwich), fungi (egg sandwich), daily quiche, and/or toast special. Something for everyone, including baked goods, decent coffee, grilled cheese. I love being able to see the chefs and the kitchen. Reasonably priced exceptional food. Noise level can be high during busy times, but that's because of people having fun, and lots of open space. read more

Overpriced for what you're getting---a breakfast sandwich with more bread than ingredients. The bread should be toasted. Flavor is good, but fruit cup is meager and not a lot for what you're getting. Coffee/mocha had no chocolate flavor and was burned. Dessert macaroon had good flavor, but for over $24 you aren't getting much. Nice interior. Overall, pretentious and over priced. read more

Nice little modern bucolic airy cafe with an open kitchen serving staple dishes with refined green-healthy-innovative-simple & delicious twists. The food is great, but the service stops at the counter where your order is taken, which is pretty typical of a cafe. And while the natural lit open spaciousness of Feed provides a good amount of atmosphere, that atmosphere is filled with sounds of the kitchen, of Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix, of tables talking over one another, and of people walking through the door, standing in line, making their orders then waiting and taking their orders, which all suits the cafe very well, but leaves the meal feeling a tad bit overpriced. I got the panzanella, which was great with bacon, feta, cubed sourdough, and a sunny side up egg on top it's a solid breakfast salad complimented well by the sundried tomato vinaigrette. My friend got the Monte Cristo, pleasantly suprised by Feed's twist, he regretted requesting the strawberry sriracha on the side after seeing me enjoy it on the grilled country bread toast that came with my partner's pastrami hash (The strawberry sriracha is not too spicy at all, well balance, just a perfectly mild aftertaste of sriracha). Eating at Feed made me want to move to Bozeman. I had their breakfasts two days in a row (I was only in town for two days) because I loved it so much. First, the design of the space is beautiful. It makes me sad to write this review, it's really more of a farewell. We've been regulars at Feed since they opened their doors. When family is in town, visiting from other parts of the state, this is our spot. When it's a special occasion, this is where we gather. My wife and I have been sharing breakfast here every other Friday, post swim, before work, for years. We still haven't eaten out (sat down at a restaurant) since COVID, but Feed was the first business we supported when they reopened their doors, purchasing gift cards and ordering food to go. And then they did it. They got rid of the gluten free flatbread--the legendary gf flatbread that made The Muff the best breakfast sandwich known to man, woman or child. Even my wife who isn't gf favored the flatbread over the bread The Muff usually comes on, and for me, this sandwich was the stuff of legends. They even put the gf flatbread on the Panzanella, another family favorite. And then they pulled the plug--after five+ years of giving us the best breakfast sandwich of all-time. A soggy piece of bagged (Canyon Bakehouse from T&C) gf sliced bread just doesn't cut it for a $12 breakfast sandwich. So, it is with a heavy heart that I write this review. Is Feed a great cafe? Absolutely! Did we love the low-key vibe? Most of the time (the bro scene can get pretty heavy after 8 AM). If you're not gf, I can't recommend this place enough. But for those of us on The Muff train, devout followers of Feed Cafe, and the once legendary GF flatbread (gone but not forgotten), I've got to say, you guys are killin' us. First Lot G pulled the Brussels Bowl (same owners), and then you guys do us like this. I guess we've still got the Turkey Hash at Nova, for our once a year Winter Solstice dash. It was a good run Feed Cafe. It's not often you see restaurants like this take backward steps, but from our perspective, I'm afraid that's what we've seen with Feed Cafe and Lot G. We were brand loyalists, always sang your praises and wish you all the best. We wish you wouldn't have done us like this, but all is fair and game in love and breakfast ya. We hope you guys can ride the wave and stay in business. We're rooting for you from afar (down the street), but sadly, we're no longer on the Feed train. Take care, be well and do good things. Hands down: the best meal of the trip! We walked from our hotel here for breakfast. Glad we skipped our free breakfast! We both had breakfast sandwiches.... I had the truffle egg on sourdough. It arrived at the table and the mushroom arugula smell was divine!!!! It was equally as delish. Hubby asked for no egg, and the lovely greeter helpfully suggested that they could sub avocado. Coming from Portland, OR, I didn't know what to expect for food here and was very pleased to find this cafe. Excellent food with exceptional service. The atmosphere was very welcoming with small touches like the sign suggesting picnicking on the lawn and the order placards with kitchen items instead of numbers. We have been back since the previous review, to pick up a variety of lunch items, and did have a better experience which warrants another star. Order was ready, and pick-up relatively quick. The food quality and flavor is good, but I still feel like they could work on the overall value of what you get for the money. That part of town has many great lunch options. read more

Fun atmosphere, but very loud! I tried the roast turkey sandwich. It was no different than one I could make at home. Any type of creative sandwich dressing would have been good. Ordered a side of home fries- they were very good, would have been even better with good old fashioned Heinz Ketchup, but Feed Cafe had made their own really gross homemade ketchup. Ugh. There is a reason Heinz is popular. It happens to be GOOD. Music super loud, hard to converse. Sometimes one wonders if the loud music is for the young staff or for the diners.... loved the display of water jars, and thank you for providing cold water, since Bozeman restaurants have pretty much stopped serving ice for some reason?!?!? read more

What an unexpected find! I can only review one item as my husband and I went off course and ordered the same thing, the elk burger. Never have I had a fried egg on a burger, and never have I had a burger on an English muffin ~ it all works! The sauce, the cook, the taste, all perfect. If I lived in Bozeman, this joint would be a weekly stop. The baked eggs were delicious, silky and perfectly prepared with just the right proportion of ham under the hood. My boys had the French toast with a light syrup that were delicious. And the atmosphere was chill and bright. My only quibble was with my wife's oatmeal, which has a bit of a burnt flavor to it. The staff is friendly and the coffee is great. Their toasts and jams are delicious. However, I want to love Feed, but on my second visit I am still not feeling it. I ordered the hash and basically got fancy smashed potatoes and eggs. Literally there were only 7 tiny pieces of the pastrami sprinkled through out the dish. So probably atypical visit based on prior reviews. We came on a Saturday at noon (which may have been part of the problem) and it took an hour to get a single grilled cheese sandwich to go. We had to ask about it twice and the second time we finally got it. My brother's elk burger (ordered separately right after me) came out in forty-five minutes. The food was good but it was hard to enjoy it given the wait. The cashier was somewhat apologetic and offered us a couple of slices of carrot cake; I would have offered to comp both meals in this situation. read more
