I have been to Feed twice. Same girl wearing a beenie at front taking orders. Beyond rude. Both times. I come in to a place and expect to be treated kindly. Three of us asking questions and figuring out what to order and treated like we were irritating her and she barely answered our questions and actually started arguing about certain orders. Excellent food, good service and great environment. Feed Cafe has become my go-to breakfast spot. Their coriander lattes with black salt are to die for. Their baked goods look amazing although I've never had one. Love the green juice and selection of Bellocq tea. I always get the same breakfast sandwich. I love this place. We go to Feed a minimum one to two times a week. We really enjoy the food, the staff, and the environment. We have tried almost everything on the menu and our favorites are the elk burger, the chorizo omelette, the soups, and toast specials. I am obsessed with the cold pressed juices they have. Try the lotus it's so refreshing although spendy. Their coffee usually is also very good! I am only giving four stars instead of five because when we go at busier times the service and food suffer greatly. They need more seating and the food quality just isn't as good when they have a rush and ticket times tend to take a lot longer if your on a time crunch. The food is pricey but it's also high quality food. I think this offsets. I wish soups were available consistently before ten because they usually have some awesome ones on the menu. Great quick service casual restaurant. You can order drinks and food at the counter then seat yourself (sometimes very limited room at busy times). I've been here a few times and the food is always flavorful and delicious. It can get noisy in the restaurant so not really the quiet breakfast/ brunch place to study more like a meet with friends or grab a quick bite establishment. The only things holding me back from the full 5 stars would be the limited seating and slightly high prices on some of the menu options. It can get very busy so definitely a popular spot. This place is incredible. The food is high quality and high concept, the portions are perfect and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. We had toad in a hole, the green stuff sandwich and split an oatmeal. Everything was super tasty and perfectly crafted. First stop out in Montana and found this gem! Food was wonderful and farm to table. My sister had the chorizo omelette and it came loaded with an avocado salsa that was delicious! I had the monte cristo that had homemade hallah bread and a strawberry siracho sauce that was hmm hmm good. I chose poorly! My wife and kid got breakfast items and I got lunch. My pastrami sandwich was OK and nothing more. Went again the other day jut around Noon. The place is not real convenient for two people....we had to sit a a big farmhouse table filled with other folks, some on their computer.....I am not antisocial and it is a cool table, but I'd prefer more of a personal ambiance. They only have one table that I could see, designed for two people. My wife had their PLAIN (and small) Grilled cheese for $6.50.....would be $8.00 with bacon added. Not impressed. The Ultimate Grilled Cheese at the Garage, on the other end of town is MUCH (WAY) BETTER, for $9.85, including bacon and tomato. I had the Monte Cristo for $7.50 and it was tasty and satisfying and well prepared. We might go back, but not chomping at the bit. Same owner as the Nova Cafe (we love her!) which we used to frequent often, but it is a bit pricey, as this place is too. Don't be discouraged by my review. It IS what it tries to be. If you desire the more light/fufu side, this is your place. Some folks love it. They see good coffee! But we both much prefer Main Street Over Easy. read more

I was extremely disappointed with the lack of vegan options available. There are no completely plant based options on the menu that provide nutrition. It is understandable that every restaurant has not caught up with alternative dietary needs, however it is unexpected in a "hip" college town such as Bozeman Montana.
