The jasmine green tea was strong and had the perfect sweetness to it. The sea salt foam was also really flavorful. No complaints! I always order the Iron Goddess milk foam tea as its strong and fragrant at the same time. Tea flavor is very present and not diluted. Sugar and ice level adjustable, they typically don't do it too sweet anyways which is what I enjoy. I also ask for a sealed lid so nothing gets out as I'm shaking/mixing it. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Drinks are pretty and large, the added bonus Good stuff :) Easy to order with in store Kiosk or an actual person at counter or online( smidge more in pricing). Came in and it wasn't that busy. The place was very clean and music was a vibe. There was a self order kiosk that made ordering easy since I get pretty indecisive. An excellent tea shop to stop by, they are located close by the 99 ranch market. They have tables and chairs where you can sit down a bit. You can order through their kiosk or cashier. I ordered dirty taro without sugar, but I didn't realize it came with ice, meaning I can't set no ice. So after I got the drink, my hubby requested if it was possible to remove the ice. The staff responded she could add some milk after removing the ice, and we said that was good. I like how they try to customize customer needs. The dirty taro was pretty good, even though without ice, and had more milk. I like that even better. My hubby ordered their Oreo milk tea with boba. The drink was good and cured the thirst. It's been a bit since seeing the sign go up and I've been so excited for it to open. On a gloomy rainy day, as I drove by to go to Target... I saw 'soft opening' sign - if I could drift a U legally, that's basically the franticness I had. It was a "must have boba to drown out this gloom" kind of day. The employees were decorating for the Lunar New Year with Tết decor being painted on the counter walls. Everything was very in place and I got my order fairly quickly. As the crème brûlée dirty boba seem to be a popular drink, I had to try (sweetness and ice level as recommended or 'as is'). It's a very nice and sweet creamy mix that isn't too overly sweet. The brûlée top was very nice, a little bit of texture when mixed in. It wasn't too heavy dairy wise to me as have tried some that are just overly thick. Boba topping wise, it was just right with a good amount of chew while being soft at the same time. 10/10 from someone that's lactose intolerant (don't worry, it's cool). Another drink I got was the Citrus Lord with crystal boba, sounded like it's a good refreshing mix. It was a drink that I saved for the next day, a sweet treat for the morning commute in the pouring rain (made it less stressful). The crystal boba holds well overnight in the fridge for sure. I knew that the orange slice would leave a hint of bitterness as the peel was soaking in the tea as well. It was definitely a refreshing drink with flavors as I would expect from a citrus (loved the additional orange pulp chunks). Only complaint is that there's zero tea taste- I'm not too sure what the 4 seasons spring tea is... but definitely too light for me. For the desserts, the strawberry princess drew me in and it held well after a few hours. It's a sponge like cake with a salty sweet cheese frosting on top - the strawberry flavor mixing in - this is definitely something I'd be back for and for sure going to try other flavors. Final Thoughts: I'm definitely jumping between Ume and here now as they're technically in the same plaza (parking in front of here is designated for the shops of that section and not Ranch 99 parking...yes I said Ranch 99, shh). read more

I just heard from my coworker last week who lives in san Jose about how Feng Cha was her favorite boba place near her, so I was super excited to see a Feng Cha store opened in Dublin! Store - it was clean, organized, and had cute decorations. It looked newly remodeled. There were also lots of table for dine-in customers. Service - staff was super nice and friendly. We chatted a bit and she told us about the tea that they made. Food/drink - this boba shop is one of few boba shops that serve tieguanyin (or iron goddess) milk tea, so we knew we had to get it. And it did not disappoint. The drink was creamy and delicious, even with less sugar (25%). The boba was also spot-on - perfectly cooked, still chew, and properly sweetened. Went today to check out this place. Crème brûlée dirty boba was amazing and so was the Bursting Dragonfriut (very refreshing!) I tried the Oreo and strawberry desserts. They were beautifully presented, but from a taste perspective, they were not remarkable. Next time I'll skip the desserts and dive into the various drinks. I've been to Feng Cha before in Southern California and at their Newark location and felt that it was just okay, but this location surpassed my expectations and I really enjoyed my drink and experience! I got the Peach Oolong Milk Foam Tea with added crystal boba as my topping ($6). The drink was nice and fragrant - I opted for less sugar and less ice and it was the perfect level of both. The general atmosphere and space is nice and clean. You order via iPad or at the register with the cashier. What stood out to me was that the person who made our drinks took the time to ask what we thought about it and said that at any time if our drinks weren't up to par, that they could remake them for us. There was so much promise upon entering into the bright, airy and spacious restaurant. Feng Cha enters the Tri Valley boba scene providing yet another option to the continued burgeoning market. It is Christmas Eve and a favorite nearby spot had already closed by 5 pm and I was in search for my boba. By the way, they're open too on Christmas day when it appears many establishments are opting to revert back in time when Christmas day was truly a day to spend with family at home. So I was feeling hopeful I'd have an option for a diversion the next day after all the presents were opened and food and drink consumed. Unfortunately, the good stopped there. We ordered a hot oolong milk tea and a Strawberry Breeze. Both were disappointing. The tea was bitter as I've never had before with oolong. It was more like jasmine tea. It was hardly creamy enough. I am planning to consume it at home adding some creamer to hopefully make it more enjoyable. The strawberry drink comes with lychee jelly, and not even an option to select a more suitable strawberry jelly to our liking. Was craving a coffee milk tea boba and saw this place pop up as new and hot so I thought I'd give it a try. Ordered online for pick up, so just had to wait a few minutes when I arrived for my drink. The drink itself was ok, it was very water downed and somewhat room temperature... I was expecting an ice cold drink with bursting off coffee flavor. We recently visited during their soft opening. The place has taken over the Subway shop next to Ranch 99. The drinks were prepared fairly quickly and it wasn't very busy. I ordered a hot ginger milk tea. The drink was only slightly warm, very watery, and didn't have that warm and spicy ginger flavor. We ordered a Crème Brulee drink too. Felt like it barely had any brown sugar tbh, I wonder if I had gotten 100% sweet if it would taste like real brown sugar boba. On top of that, the boba was super soft and a bit mushy, I prefer mine with a chewier texture. The foam was good, but don't forget to mix it before you drink it. We got the strawberry breeze and the basil kiwi! The strawberry breeze was SO good! It tasted fresh and not like artificial flavoring which I appreciate! My boyfriend said the kiwi drink was also super good and he enjoyed it lots. (He's not a huge fan usually but said this was really good) They have menu drink options you can choose from, but you can also opt to create your own tea. I loved the fact that they had unique tea flavors that you can choose from for this and not the typical just green or black teas. I thought this was so cool! We ordered with the cashier, but they also have kiosks that you can order at, which is nice. Parking is also super easy in the plaza. I don't know why they close restroom and I asked can I use restroom? female employee replied "sorry restroom is closed " but its human nature... wth restroom front of me.. So I asked again I know you guys closed the restroom but Is it ok to use restroom ? And guy named " SKY" replies NO restroom is closed and I was urge and desperate so I asked his name and he replies " WHY YOU WANT MY NAME? " Very violent way and no greeting customer at all type talk. I simply replied because I want to report this matter to the owner.. I'm assuming because it was close to their closing hours they won't let you use restroom. I myself own 2 restaurants and customer always comes 1st. But I guess Feng Cha has to follow rules no one can use restroom after 830pm when they are still Open. Be aware... Guy named SKY is very rude young gentleman. Please, Don't let bad emplyees pull down your business. He talked as if he wanted to fight me or something. Very aggressive with no customer service manner when I have a 9 year old child next to me. It would not be a bad place to chill there and get some work done. I'm really glad they have food there! I did not try any but I feel like more boba places should provide food. I got the Classic Milk Tea with Iron Goddess. The tea itself was tooo creamy and milky. I did not really get any tea taste in my drink. I think they put too much. However, boba texture was very good. Since it opened, I have been there 3 times and enjoyed their drinks and snacks. Though I haven't tried enough products to give the final verdict...so stayed tuned. Glad to have this added to west Dublin boba tea selection. Place is nice and clean and brand new, and it's got tables and bar stools for seating. Service a bit slow but good in general. We got two drinks the first time: strawberry overload and citrus lord. Both drinks had nice fruity flavors on top on the tea aroma and we enjoyed them. Do note that the tea drinks are not overly sweet; I ordered citrus lord at 50% sweetness and I could barely taste the sweetness. Just FYI. Some inconsistency regarding the snacks: we ordered calamari and popcorn chicken twice; the first time was excellent and amount was big but the second time the snacks shrunk in size and had a bit too much batter. We appreciate the fact it's NOT just...boba tea, more choices including my plain hot tea, freshly brewed not overstepping alike most Taiwanese boba bars. Bitter w/o sugar and even milk teas to coverup. That's their style and that's fine. But their is a reason why you stop steeping in a few minutes, not hours. Great team here and they listen and educate. Snacks are not all fried alike Q Cup that was second here in Dub first is over 15 yrs ago in plaza on San Ramon valley Blvd with Korean butcher and paris baguette next to just east of bagel shoppe. Popcorn chicken was my favorite here; the breading was light and crunchy, not dense. The chicken pieces were perfect bite size but not minuscule like at some other places, and the meat was tender and well seasoned.
