The young ladies who were working for their parents are SO NICE! Such sweet girls. The female owner was really rude. I spent $10.50 on a 'grilled combo' for lunch and it's kind of tasty but jeeze... there's hardly any food here. Maybe I'm a fat kid, but I opened the container and wanted to cry. I'm used to Chinese food being plentiful, cheap and getting two meals out of it. His is my second time getting Chinese food in Keene. Last time I went to Kings Garden, and I got SO MUCH and spent less.... so needless to say the food is good, but if there was more of it, that would be great and they'd get five stars for sure. Lower your prices or give more food with he orders ‍ I'm not sure if I'll go back. I guess if I want tasty food, that's expensive but a very small portion, I'll go back. There's a monster can next to the container for size reference.

I'm surprisingly disappointed by their service. Two of the four meals we got to go were wrong- them not putting noodles for a meal that specifically mentioned noodles on the menu. The pork fried rice was poorly mixed and tasteless. I found clumps of white rice stuck together in mine. The egg roll was more roll than things inside of it, making it difficult to chew. The best part of my order was their rangoons. Don't waste your time.

    Where's the egg, veggies, pork?

I live near here and have ordered a few times I'm done with them. If you dissect the chicken fingers, there is almost no chicken. If you put their beef sticks up against any others in the area they about 1/3 the size. If you order pork fried rice, it is pretty much only rice. (See picture). They do not deliver for orders under $15. The food tastes ok, but there is absolutely no value and never leftovers. You'll pay about $10 for a standard meal and get about $1 worth of ingredients.

Best Chinese food in the Monadnock Region. I especially enjoy the hot and sour soup and sesame chicken.

We stopped in for dinner and got: - "Pan-fried" Peking raviolis - Beef with ginger and scallion hotpot. First, the raviolis came out deep-fried, not pan-fried. Which is fine, but there is a difference and should be reflected on the menu. They were good, but being fully fried, the texture is different from a pan-fried dumpling. Next, the beef hotpot. It came out in a sizzling bowl. It was a large portion of beef, mushrooms, and vegetables (mostly onion). The flavor was okay. Certainly nothing offensive, and it was good, although a bit oily, but it was lacking an OOMPH. I wish it had more ginger flavor. Or maybe fermented black bean - that would have kicked it up a notch. There are actually two separate spaces here: 1 is the dining area, and 1 is a bar and lounge. Both spaces can order the full menu. The dining space was clean and casual. The staff working there were very nice and super friendly. From our experience, it's a middle-of-the-road Chinese restaurant, a place I'd go again but not a place I'd go out of my way for.

Known for a stem sum, we certainly enjoyed the dim sum offerings as well as traditional dishes . We've been there several times. This night, we had a table of 10 including a visit visitor from Germany for the World Cup. Unfortunately, I was so excited about the food. I missed several photos. It is all about the food. You can get some less common dishes. Two of my young adult children had friends who were eager to try the scallion, pancake crab Rangoon they had learned about on social media - it lived up to its reputation albeit a little messy! Dumplings of different varieties were amazing. Salt & pepper calamari was fresh, tender and a big hit! The generous portion of Chinese broccoli with garlic was amazing. The beef filet with pepper was one of the most popular dishes at the table and went quickly - the beef was tender with the right amount of spice. Every single dish was fully consumed. Most of all, it was a great value. Had I gone to the north end or anywhere else in Boston? It would've been 30 to 40% more expensive. We got great quality, food and service and an experience in the process. We didn't stray far except for Jelly fish appetizer that was crunchy with cucumber and a vinegar sauce that was tasty. The service is consistently attentive. As soon as you are seated, we had hot tea and drink orders. As food arrived, the table was always cleared. Nice to have this energy.

The chicken feet are not as good as Ming's or China Star, but still flavorful. I love the pineapple bun, with it's runny custard filling and subtly sweet dough. I would have to try again earlier in the day.
