I am currently building a new home and have a fairly $$$ large order in process with Ferguson . I went by the Sacramento showroom to take a look at bathtubs. A very quick visit. as I walked in I was greeted by a grumpy woman who asked if I had an appointment and warned me that if I didn't have an appointment I should not expect any service. really alarmed by how rude this person was. I didn't really say anything much to her as I didn't want a confrontation. I would hope that every person walking in would be treated more respectfully. read more

Can I give less than 1 star? First we called this place, we were transferred 4 times before we gave up and got in the car to go there in person. We drove down at break neck speed in horrid traffic to get there. On the door are at least three signs to wear a mask and how we should wear the mask. We masked up, walked in the door and asked for shower doors?? Oh we don't carry shower doors, in stereo from the two ladies at the desk, with matching tones in their voice that made me feel like I was stupid for not knowing they didnt carry them. Why didn't they just tell me that over the phone? Don't bother!!! read more

I'm remodeled my kitchen One year ago and I went to Ferguson and worked with Corey Benham. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me pick out all the appliances and the sink; helped me match colors, styles, everything necessary. He could not have been more helpful. Upon completion, after approximately six months or so, I emailed Corey And mentioned that I was very happy with my kitchen and thanked him for his help. He answered my email and asked me how everything was working. I happened to mention that the refrigerator was a little noisy and the stove burners were very hot. He, on his own, arranged to have repair people come out to my home and fix both those problems at no charge. He was a very good sales person and I would recommend him. Be prepared for headaches if you deal with this company. I ordered a bathtub from Ferguson for a bathroom remodel. I opted to have them deliver it since they would bring it up into the garage while Signature would just leave it at the curb. Big mistake! I waited 4 different days for delivery after I was told it was at their warehouse. The first two times the warehouse supposedly "lost it". The tub was reordered and again I waited, my project put on hold. The 3rd time delivery was scheduled but didn't happen the customer service person said that there was an operator error using the computer system and the request for delivery didn't get to the warehouse. I was told the tub was there in good condition - someone had checked it and it would be delivered the next morning, but to call if it wasn't there by noon. No tub by noon and everyone was at lunch when I called Evidently they called someone special to bring over the tun and it was finally delivered later that afternoon, with a chip out of the corner. I found someone to fix the chip and accepted the tub for a discount. I waited 2 1/2 weeks for the discount to be refund to me then called to inquire where it was. I was told the customer service manager had thought one of her team members had handled that. This place seems to have serious problems in both the customer service and warehouse departments. read more

The task of finding and matching faucets and fixtures for multiple bathrooms was overwhelming. We were lucky to meet Lori who kindly walked us through the process. She went above and beyond and stayed late in order to work with our job schedule on several days until we were able to find all the supplies. I'm a bit amused by the comments of people upset that no one talked with them. Were the receptionists at the front desk when you walked in? Or at anytime during your visit could you have gone to the front desk and asked to speak to a sales representative? I went there yesterday. Walked in and told the ladies at the desk that I was just looking. Walked around and saw a number of pieces that I wanted more information on. Went back and asked to speak to a sales person. They gave me a buzzer as everyone was already busy with customers. (Saturday morning. That's to be expected.) When one became available, I walked around talking about light fixtures for the dining room, bathroom fixtures and other items. The sales person was knowledgeable and made copies of the items I was interested in so I could take the paperwork back home and think and compare. I thought it was great. A complete waste of time. Basically go to there website and figure it out yourself. That's what I was told. Showed up walked around for about 45 mins asked for help twice. Was told to make an account on the website and everything is on there. No customer service at all. The 5 people working the floor can be heard telling everyone "well it's all on the website"..... well then why do you have a store with demonstration products? The One question I got to ask in the 30 seconds of attention I was given was . "I'd like 60x30 alcove tub that has over 16 inches of debth to the overflow".... his answer well have you made an account online. Total joke. Worst customer service. After they take your money you no longer can reach the sales rep you dealt with in the showroom. You get passed on from one extension to the other. We spend $21,000 on outdoor bbq appliances. Omg it was impossible to get the sales rep to call me to help with issues related to product details and exchanges issues. I was wrong. I should have given Ferguson 0 stars, or negative stars if possible. An appliance we purchased from them doesn't work correctly. I cannot get Ferguson to set a warranty appointment for me. They can't handle it even though I am supposed to go through them. I received confirmation from them that the warranty appointment was set and then the technician doesn't show up. I call Ferguson and have no record of an appointment. I wasted four hours waiting for the appointment they never set. I call Ferguson back and they told me to call the manufacturer. What? You now don't want to do your job? Beyond pathetic. read more

Ordered a small wall oven/microwave GE Cafe Series (fancy) May 2021, I know manufacturing is backed up from the pandemic etc so I've been patient. Arrival of my appliances was pushed back, pushed back...living without a kitchen this whole time. Called after 6 months not in yet, at the 9 month point was told it would take a few more months. One year later called them, not in. I was told it would be here in November! That's A YEAR AND A HALF LATER. OK nothing I can do, here's where it really went SOUTH: I randomly call end of September, AND MY MERCHANDISE WAS THERE AND NO ONE EVER CALLED ME! WTF???? NO EMAIL,NOTHING! I WAS WAITING FOR OVER A YEAR, AND NO ONE THOUGHT TO LET ME KNOW MY APPLIANCES HAD ARRIVED, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!??? I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel. I visited this store several times. I could not be more displeased with their customer service. I've purchased more than $3k on faucets and towel bars from them. Each visit has been a disappointment. The sales staff acts as if you are interrupting them if you have the gull to ask a question. I literally had to wait as one of the sale people completed her Facebook post. On two seperate visits I was told by two different sales people that an item I was looking for was in "pause production", after repeated plea's to find out when they thought the item might be available I was told the item was in fact in stock. This was a $1500.00 tub filler. I was told by the sales rep which valve I needed, which was another $250.00. When the plumber was doing the install, sure enough we had the wrong valve. Since the plumber had tried to modify the valve to make it work, they would not allow us to exchange the incorrect item. I had to pay an additional $250.00 for the correct part. On my last an definitely final visit I was literally ignored. I'm not a Karen... I have always be courteous to the staff regardless of their lack of customer service. I worked with the Grass Valley location. I've always had great, friendly, and impeccable service from both the Sales side as well as the Parts side. Corey Benham's customer service skills are outstanding. I always felt well taken care of as I was buying all the plumbing hardware while I was building my new home. He listens well and doesn't try to push the most expensive items. His years of experience were really helpful. On the Parts side, I've always found the counter guys to be just as professional and helpful. I never had a bad experience at Ferguson's! read more

Poor customer service. Two women were sitting in front as you walked in, and both failed to offer me an appointment. They seem only to want to accommodate old clients who they think may have more money. I have a 5,000-square-foot house I'm renovating, and I'm a designer. A 60-year-old man walked in after me, and as I was standing there, they offered to check him in and schedule an appointment to be helped, but not me. When I walked in, nobody bothered to offer me an appointment even after we exchanged my needs, only an offer to walk around. This is the second time they have done that to me, and twice they have disappointed me. I'm going to go with build.com they offer way better customer service for my design project and they offer one on one support for builders and contractors. She explained, in depth, the differences in sizes and drains. She also guided us through picking out the shower hardware and made suggestions for things the contractor might need on the job. Came here to the showroom on a Wednesday about a month ago. Ordered over 7000 worth of appliances and stuff for our new home. Was told by Lori if we came earlier we could get most of our sfuff by the next day but now we would get everything 2 days from now which was supposed to be Friday anx ghe rest would be by the following Friday. This was not true. Been a about a month and and still waiting for more stuff. On Friday was not contacted so waited till Saturday. Called and said they had majority of stuff so come and pick it up. Came and was told it was not at this location and we were not told when speaking over the phone. Had to go to different location to pick up but still missing lots of stuff. Told the rest will be latest Friday but we will be contacted on Tuesday to let us know. We were not contacted. When they said they will contact us they never do. We called today which is about a month now and was told to pick up some stuff and other stuff still now ready. Arrived to pick up and they said they did not have it anx do not know where it is. They made us drive there to pick it up and sent us home so they could figure it out anx get back to us. Horrible service. The biggest problem is that this is all causing a delay on the house construction. Do not tell is a date and be weeks late without an explanation. Hope we end ip getting out stuff soon.... read more

I've checked out this showroom a few times. It's a decent place if you just want to take a look to see what's out there. However, the barely have any staff. The staff they do have are more like order takers - they don't actually know much about the products. They have to go to their computer and print the specs out when you have questions (which I can do myself online). Twice I was promised a follow up about a dishwasher, and I did not hear back either time. I was also told that they do cooking demonstrations with various vendors. I asked if I could be notified the next time there was one. Gave them all my information. Never heard a thing. I wanted to buy lighting, but again their "lighting guy" was busy with some lady who asked a million questions but didn't buy anything. While I was here ready to spend serious money. I waited for an hour. The lady left. Then the guy was on break. So I waited some more. When he came back he seemed annoyed when I asked fo help. I had photos of the kinds of lighting I wanted to buy, measurements, and specs. I was ready to order and buy that day. Instead of helping me he basically pointed me to their website and to a manufacture's website and told me to look there and come back after I picked out exactly what I wanted. Foolish me was expecting the "lighting guy" to make recommendations and actually steer me to the products I should buy. I thanked him for his time, and left. I ended buying about $20,000 worth of lighting fixtures, smart switches, home automation switches, etc... from various other light sources including Lumens (downtown sacramento), online, and through B&H photo. I ended up purchasing my kitchen appliances at AA Appliance on Folsom Blvd which is a much smaller show room but the customer service is much better. I did end up buy a few faucets and other items at Ferguson, but I was super disappointed to find out that I can buy the same exact item on Amazon or other websites for 30-60% less. My mistake for assuming that they would have semi reasonable pricing. I don't mind paying more to a local business, but this place really does not deserve the premium. The staff is aloof, the prices are ridiculous, no follow up, and little to no help or expertise. I did an extensive whole house remodel ($350,000), and I ended up buying most of my items from AA Appliance, Furnitalia, Amazon, and a lot of custom work from local artist and trades people. read more

You spend 50,000 on appliances and they take over a full year to come in and even when all the pieces were not in this place called us and told us they could no longer store the appliances so with no option left we stored them in our garage, when it was time for instal I tried to get someone to move them from the garage inside BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT KEEP THEM ANY LONGER and no sorry that's an extra fee? The gentleman I spoke with, Dennis, was very nice; said he'd get a showroom salesperson, Bob, to call me back because Bob was busy at the time. It is now 3:30 p.m. and no call back. I will not shop here again. My husband and I were in the market for a few 'up lights' for our great room and we were told this was the place to shop for lighting in the Sacramento area! Sure, it is a great showroom but the customer service is quite poor. The store is pretentious. First they determined that we couldn't afford their product (based on the fact we were in gym clothes?) and were told 'the product was expensive and we might need to look at some less expensive options.' Not cool. We (still) ordered four lights from them on Nov 7th. We were told it would be about a week. About two weeks later I called to find out where the lights were. We had already been charged in full at this time. I was told that there was a 'mix up' at the factory and they were being held because of a price dispute. He said he would send them out and they would be there within the week. Two more weeks passed and I called again. This time, they had somehow lost my information (email, phone, address, etc) although they had no issue processing the payment or emailing with me back in early November. I gave them all my info AGAIN and we finally received the WRONG lights the week before Christmas. (6+ weeks after we ordered them). We just went to return them today and instead of them quickly processing the return (I had the receipt in hand) they questioned me on if I had already installed them (we had not) and if all the parts were there (they were). I waited as they called over a 'lighting consultant' to verify they could process the return. After quite some time (and more questions) they decided to process the return. For such a 'high end' store I expected much more. I recommend that you take your home improvement needs elsewhere. read more

Remodeling can be fun and hell at the same time, but when I was advised by my contractor to go to this place because of his discount (read: "kick back") I listened....wish I went to Lowe's instead - seriously! After about 3.5 hours of picking out fixtures (there are a million options, it's worse than shoe shopping), I finally got excited over all the fixtures and faucets matching and left feeling so happy. I even ordered all my lights from here to make it "easy". PROBLEM: 1) They failed to remove the faucets that are now illegal (starting 2010) due to their lead content. Yep, you guessed it, mine was one of them. It was confiscated at the warehouse - what am I buying drugs now? I ended up with a faucet that I did not like during my initial picking because of the time restrain of ordering another one. Everything is back ordered here...why sell these things then? 2) The light sales rep sold me the wrong canned lights, I am remodeling and she sold me the ones for new construction 3) The light was back ordered for 2 months and she failed to tell me Basically, I found almost the same fixtures around the same price at Lowe's and highly recommend you try them first! Go here and get ideas and then go buy them there, I guess you live and learn but this remodeling business can cause couple therapy at some point! read more

One cautionary tale: there was a huge puddle of water that surrounded a warning sign - right in the showroom. I almost slipped. I love this showroom. No, there are not sales people hounding you for assistance and I liked that. They let me look around comfortably and when I was ready for assistance, they were more than willing to help. Jeremy Ellis went above and beyond to help us find a tub when our Contractor said our original selection was not going to fix. He did the same thing with our shower head selection. It was on back order for months, gave us a loaner to use so we could finish our remodel. Then when our selected shower head came in, he told us to keep the loaner. Smooth as silk. That is how I describe our experience with Ferguson's Appliances. We did a complete kitchen remodel and my gourmet cook husband wanted all Thermador appliances. There was a deal going with Thermador where you got several of them free for ordering others, but we upgraded the freebies a bit too. Gavin McClure was by far one of the most personable, knowledgeable sales person we have ever met. He has been there for us no matter how small the question and how frequently we changed our minds about something. On the day of the planned installation, our contractor let us down and announced his installer couldn't make it for several more days, but Gavin got on the horn to find another installer. Despite the fact I was spitting mad at our contractor for not addressing the fact that we had already sold our fridge and would waste a ton of frozen items, Gavin understood our concerns and made things happen. Great showroom, beautiful selection of items and quality service. Any business is only as good as their sales staff. We just got lucky and got a winner. Period. read more

I ordered a black stainless steel oven over 2 years ago. The staff never updated me. I constantly had to call and ask for an update, sometimes the staff would not get back to me and I would have to call the next day. The staff would tell me to learn how to be patient and would be very short with me over the phone. After over a year of waiting, they ordered me a stainless steel oven to see which one would come in on time. It arrived and I placed that oven on hold because my original oven was supposed to come in the next month. After waiting and not hearing from the staff, I called for an update and I was told my original oven was not in and had a new estimated delivery time of 2-3 months out. I unfortunately decided to go with the stainless steel oven even though I waited over 2 years for the black stainless since all my other appliances are black stainless. I went with a product I did not want because not having any oven or microwave for over 2 years has really been challenging. The only staff member semi responsive was through email, and even then she did not seem to care I ended up with a product I did not want. The only offered me my install fee back. Horrible costumer service and I will never go back. read more

Absolutely the WORSE vendor ever- first they ordered the wrong product and then twice more we received the product damaged. When we called to request information they basically indicated it was our fault and that our plumber probably damaged it in transit. They were not helpful, not friendly and not compassionate at all.
