Came for happy hour oysters and wine. Was not disappointed. Well priced, and the oysters were shucked perfectly (no shells).

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I came for a late lunch with a friend during happy hour, and we ordered a two happy hour items and two mains. The waitress asked if we wanted to have the happy hour items come out as appetizers, and the mains come out as entrees, and I agreed. After around 15 minutes, our two happy hours items came out -- mini fish and chips, and 6 oysters. The oysters were fine, but the fish and chips were absolutely tiny. It was 1 piece of fish, and a couple of fries. After quickly finishing our happy hour items, we waited over 30 minutes for our server come to our table and clear our plates, and the server showed zero concern for us waiting that long. She instead pinned the blame on me, and stated "you wanted the mains to come out like a second course." After asking twice about an update on our mains with nothing done to help with the situation, i ended up waiting a total of 42 minutes AFTER receiving the first few plates before asking for the check. Once I asked for the check for the two happy hour items ONLY (since that was all we ate), our waitress came over and informed us that our mains were ready if I wanted them to go, and I refused. I ended up spending OVER AN HOUR in this restaurant, and only ate 3 oysters and half of a piece of fish with some fries. Once I was starting paying for the half of a meal I had, the server began chatting with us and acting incredibly friendly. It was so off-putting, especially after having such a negative experience with her dismissing all of our concerns earlier. I would not recommend coming here. The atmosphere is fine, the service terrible, and the food is okay at best, if you even get a chance to eat all of your food. There are definitely better restaurants in the area where you can have a much better experience.

Everything was wonderful when we went to Ferris Grill and Garden Patio for their happy hour. We took a seat on the nice patio in the yard. Great atmosphere. I like how inviting and nice it is. The hosts offered excellent service. We had a few of their white wines, as well as shucked oysters and the mini fish and chips, all of which were delicious. All of the flavour were on point. We'll come back to try some of their additional dishes. Highly recommend!

We made a reservation ahead of time for two through Google. When we arrived, our table was tucked away in a small corner. We requested a table in their lovely courtyard in the back and the staff was accommodating to our request. We did have to wait thirty minutes but It was worth It!!! The courtyard is a dream and was just the aesthetic we wanted. We ordered the Blackberry Spritz and the Dull and Windy cocktails while we waited for our dozen oysters and mushroom poutine. The Fanny May oysters arrived on a plate of melting ice and the mushroom poutine needed a bit of salt but others wise delicious. The oysters are mild in flavor but meaty and there was an array of accoutrements provided. The fries for the poutine were perfectly thick and crispy. We then moved on to dinner with the Pacific Rim Bowl with poke tuna and the Bouillabaisse. Both were absolutely delicious- rich in flavor and the perfect portion. The staff was very friendly, gave wonderful recommendations and attentive. Definitely check this place out during your trip to Victoria BC.

The food was mediocre. The best thing was the appetizer of ahi tuna nachos. The service could have been a lot better. We were visiting from out of the country and the waitress was very dismissive and unhelpful with menu choices.

We went during happy hour. The food was delicious. The buck fifty per shuck oysters were fresh. I especially liked the bacon and cheddar arancini. The mini fish and chips were tastey too. I would go back again!

Cute restaurant and good service! The wine list was good and the oysters were great! My favorite were the raw oysters

Definately recommend this as a great place to eat while in Victoria! So many places to choose from it makes it hard to pick when you only have a few days but this should be on the list of must visits! We sat out on the patio and what a cute place. Reminded me of being in New Orleans. And the food was some of the best I have ever had! We started with pan fried oysters and they have to be the largest I have I! Then I had the seafood laska and I have to say, it was. By far, the best noodle dish I have ever had! The sauce was amazing! My husband had the jambalaya, it had a nice spice and was full of seafood! Service was fast and super friendly. You gotta try this place!

I found this place on Yelp when we were visiting the government building. It's located in downtown area, so it might be a bit difficult to find parking. I was stoked when seeing oyster Rockefeller on the menu. I stayed in Boston for 4 years. And this is the my favorite way to enjoy oyster other than eating it straight up raw. The oyster was really "fatty", in the good way of course. It was fresh and delicate. And the spinach and cheese topping was a perfect addition to the oyster. Fantastic! The entree was for sure the highlight of the whole meal. Both of us had the bouillabaisse. It was everything I expected, and even better. The soup base itself was flavorful. And each seafood was cooked to perfection. My top 3 favorites were -- fried fish, salmon and oyster. All of them had a juicy center. And I was over the moon when finishing the meal. I only wish there were more toast on the side lol. Would recommend it for anyone nearby!

4 stars for fresh oyster happy hour. My hubby also ordered draft beer which was so aromatic and light. The service was slow

You're not coming here for an authentic food experience (coming from Hawaii, I can certainly attest to that), but they do offer some of the dishes that speak to the spirit of Hawaiian fare and so "mahalo" to Kahuna for honouring the Hawaiian culture and ways in Victoria - thousands of miles away from its inspiration! === 2. FOOD The dishes may not necessarily cater to those from Hawaii (things have been adapted for the mainland - like all other ethnic foods brought to North America) but the creative dish names do provide some reminders of home. Of note, they have a few standard desserts including a lillikoi cheesecake and a haupia pie that they make in-house. Today, I tried the Loco Moco and it's perhaps a healthier (?) but very different interpretation of a typical loco moco one gets in Hawaii. Perhaps it's a local adaptation of the dish (for Hawaiians: note that there is a lot more vegetables on this, much less gravy and portion size, and different macaroni used and no brown/fried rice available) - but overall the dish is tasty. === 3. SERVICE Soft-spoken, well-mannered, it's like the Canadian version of Hawaiian service: caring but without any of the fun sarcasm and localisms one finds in a local Hawaiian joint. I noticed they were attentive to dine-in patrons and everyone wears a brighter-coloured shirt that speaks to the aloha shirts found in Hawaii. === 4. ENVIRONMENT Good, bright, modern, and clean, the Hawaiian motifs are visible throughout be it in colour palette, light fixtures, decorations, and even the t-shirts on sale. While it's not ginormous, you could bring a sizeable party of perhaps up to 12 here. Groups of 4 or less would be best served on a daily basis. Those with wheelchairs and baby strollers would find get in and out easily. Parking appears to just be up to your luck with a street spot or in one of the private paid lots nearby.

Located on Fort St, there's several shops, restaurants & bakeries on this street. BC knows how to do Smash Burgers right! Taste, presentation, flavour ALL on point! One of the bestest burgers ever indeed. While we don't have In-N-Out Burger up here in Canada - this is probably the next best thing. The thin cut fries are excellent. Get an order of regular fries. OMG the Chocolate Shake here is absolutely sensational! It looks small & unassuming, but don't be fooled - it's the real deal when it comes to quality shakes! Be sure to tell the cashier you want your shake after you finish your burger. I do not recommend you get it to go - have it right away once you've finished your meal. Also if you are one to carry around your own metal or plastic straw, bring it here! This shake should not be associated with paper straws = sadness! I usually get a single burger, but if you really love that beef & prefer a double patty, then go for it. The beef is right here at BC!
