These 2 cuisines share zero in common yet someone decided this is an experiment worth pursuing. Listen Ive been an avid loyal customer of Pita Jungle but this concept is fitting for the Chipotle crowd not Pita Jungle. The first time I ate here had the beef bowl and it was ok the flavors were super bland and the ingredients in the bowl were a bit trying too hard to mix multiple items that normally are separate plates. Second time it was catered to the office for a spicy chicken bowl which ended up coincidentally making me very sick that afternoon. I thought the original Gyro was the best deal. It was so enormous that I almost didn't finish. It tasted authentic. The interior is very cool. There were arrows on the floor guiding you to the ordering station. The interior is dark and red which makes it cozy and special. This would be a good date night place. But it is also family friendly either way it's deep and roomy booths. The prices were fair and the menu extensive. Beer and wine available. Plenty of strip mall parking. After seeing the reviews and hearing its a spinoff from pita jungle, I wanted to stop by and try it out. It's definitely different and the same concept as a chipotle. Decor is super cute and the vibe is energetic! Since I didn't know what to expect, the guy that helped me behind the counter was very friendly and offered recommendations. We ordered the Gyro bowl, Brisket kimchi burrito and hummus and it was all good. Went here shortly after opening on a Monday. The place was clean but had an overwhelming smell of kimchi when we walked in. The staff was sweet. She quickly greeted us and explained the ordering process. There are a lot of options so there is something for everyone. My friend and I both did build your own bowl. For my protein I got the cowboy meatballs which are made to order. I thought it was going to just be 2 or 3, but it was about 6 of them which I appreciated. It's a lot of food. I think I paid $16 which is ok if you consider you can get 2 meals out of it. The only downside is if you just get lettuce as your base, you can't really eat it later so recommend getting rice if you don't have a big appetite and may end up taking it with you. And the to-go containers aren't sturdy. All of the flavors I got went together. The only thing I didn't like was the cauliflower. I thought it was roasted but it wasn't. It was literally just raw cauliflower but I guess that's my fault for not paying attention. This place is worth a try. The feta freak sauce is so good! And so is the lemon vinaigrette. read more

5/24/25: Short version - just happened to find this place while running some morning errands so decided we'd hit it for lunch. There's plenty of parking, the portions are huge, and I was super excited to see their containers are compostable! Except for the lids, which sucks, but it's a start. There's only one size for drinks & that's super duper large, I'm guessing 44 oz or more. The food was very good. It's not an overly large place so I can see how seating could be difficult to find during their busy hours. There is a substantially sized patio on the south end, and yes, I saw misters. They were not on which I attribute to no one sitting out there. Long version - You walk in the door & there is a stand immediately in front of you with the menu (it looked like their electronic menus above the ordering counter were on the fritz). To the right is the trash bin, also where the metal trays go when you're finished. This is a bad set up because as we witnessed, people coming in were congregating in front of the door reading their menus and blocking other people from getting in. We at least stepped aside to a table to stay out of the way until we decided on what to order. You follow the red line of tiles to place your order. It is a wide enough aisle that you could line up there AWAY FROM THE DOOR to read the menu, and other patrons can sneak by you to place their order. The food set up reminded me of YC'S Mongolian Grill, in that there are labels for the dishes you are looking at. You do not load your own trays, however, the people behind the counter do. I only point this out because I was too busy looking at the food that I didn't notice until later the labels until later. There was music playing, and although it was not overly noisy inside, I could barely hear the gal behind the counter asking me if I wanted this or that. She had to repeat herself a number of times, until I got frustrated & just kept saying yes, not knowing what I was agreeing to. This is why you should be aware of the labels, so you can know what you are agreeing to, or know what to say no to. Better yet, give the servers megaphones so you can hear them. I feel for any customer who has a hearing impairment and tries to order. As it happens, whatever I agreed to for the Spicy Chicken Bowl was delicious. It was def spicy, but not overly so that it burned my mouth; it did, however, limit how much I could eat in one sitting. Point of note: the spices in the bowl did not go well with the pink lemonade; it left a slightly bad taste in my mouth. :-) You know how drinking water after eating cantaloupe tastes funny? It was like that. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her Brisket Kimchi Burrito. She, too, had a hard time hearing the gal behind the counter. Although not an extensive menu, we both agreed it's a place worth visiting again to try something different. There was no dessert or drinks listed on the menu so know this: at the register there was baklava, a pistachio cookie, and my sister says a choc chip cookie. Don't quote me on that though, I am only 100% certain of the baklava. The drinks were self serve, Pepsi products. There was also root beer, the pink lemonade mentioned earlier, as well as a green tea, black tea, and I think regular tea (all teas unsweetened). read more

Most of the menu items are unique and you must read the ingredient list to know what's included. I ordered the Kimchi Brisket and they let me modify the ingredients due to my allergies. The brisket was moist and the Bbq sauce had a little kick. I loved the dipping sauces for the included pita chips. My wife ordered the salmon bowl and she loved it. Gluten free is not a problem, but you need to watch the staff closely so you are not contaminated with any items going into your meal. The staffed changes their gloves and were very careful. The choices at first were a bit overwhelming to me, but I love that they allow you to build your own. I had the gyro with a side of brisket and the brisket was tender and juicy and so flavorful. Overall the pita was dry and really lacking in flavor and the meat was overcooked We went in on a Saturday after 1 PM and it was not really busy but it did seem like they are still getting the bugs out the system as it appeared to be reasonably staffed Love the concept and having been a big fan of Pita Jungle for 20 years, I know the owners have the skills. Nevertheless, I think this needs some real proper tuning to get things firing on all cylinders. I think they were lacking employees on our second visit because there was only one woman taking orders and making the food but she was in the back for the first 5 minutes of us waiting to order because she was helping the cook replenish empty containers on the line. The food was great! I got a brisket kimchi bowl! I was in the area for work staying in a hotel so I ordered it through the yelp app which has worked in the past while in my hometown Tucson. But this time I never got any updates on my delivery and it never came. Which is not their fault but the awesome thing was. I called them and they were willing to make my bowl again and then I came to pick it up and they were so sweet. they left me a note saying how sorry they were that I didn't get my food And then they gave me a chocolate chip cookie and some baklava (both desserts were yummy) and a free drink! Totally not necessary, but that's what real customer service is like! They serve teas and lemonade that don't have any sugars or bad stuff in them and that was really good. I got the green tea and then also a pink lemonade to make an arnold palmer. The brisket and the bowl was so tender and yummy. I really love the kimchi, I wish it had more! I love kimchi. Everything was good. The sweet potato in the bowl was tender and not mushy. The hummus was super good. It also came with a couple of slices of pita bread. I mixed everything together and chowed down since I had been waiting so long, but the food was really good. And the workers greeted me when they found out who I was and went out of their way to help me. The other thing worth mentioning is that I was suffering from a Fractured foot and had to wear a medical shoe so it was uncomfortable to walk and so one of the guys offered to get me whatever I needed.
