Although the burger is clearly homemade, it was bland, as if they had forgotten to season anything on the burger. I had the mushroom and swiss burger, and could barely taste either. Hmmmm, I really liked my burger that I had here but the service was utter crap. I mean really, when your job is taking orders how do you screw up 2 out of three of them? And if your job is dealing with customers at least try to fake like you are enjoying yourself. Another complaint is the price, 3 meals shouldn't cost over $30 when it is burgers & fries. being from san francisco, i am totally used to spending at least $12 for a lunch like this. so it being around $15 seemed like a total deal for the quality and taste of the food. the veggie burger was awesome and i liked the option of choosing a salad. i also tasted the sweet potato fries, which were also delicious. my lunch date told me that the salmon burger was 3/5 stars, but they did have beer which made up for the salmon burger. what surprised me the most was that this place was clean, well designed and no bums hanging out (sorry, used to SF). also, they seem very green. there is little to no trash at the end of your meal - most everything is recyclable or compostable! awesome! read more

If you are hungry you need to order two or three on the cheeseburgers and two of the bison burgers. The value of the cheeseburger is 2.99 and of the bison burger 4.99. They screwed up our 'to go' order and we didn't realize it until we were back at work and couldn't get away to fix it...so they fixed it for us! Immediately, I mean as soon as the words came out of my mouth to complain over the phone they were on there way to my place of work to deliver the correct order with a gift card for future visits. This place was pretty good. They have a very large selection to customize your burger and choose which sides you would like. I had a bacon cheese burger with sweet potato fries and the fries were very delicious. The only thing I thought was lacking was when I tried to find a seat, all the free ones were pretty dirty, and it took awhile for someone to come around and actually wipe them off. B-ham burger was really good especially considering I don't like egg. Jealous I didn't order the ranch chicken sandwich because when I took a bite of someone who ordered it, the chicken was delicious and perfectly fried. I have been coming here for a few years and the fries always bring me back. They are crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. They have plenty of house made dipping sauces for them. The B"HAM" burger is my favorite with egg and ham on it. The pulled pork is great for a sort of fast food place. Tangy yet a little sweet. They have just now been open for breakfast for about a month now and it is great. I have had the Pork n Hatch hash. Which is pulled pork hash with hatch chili's. It has a little kick to get your day started. Served with 2 eggs on top. I don't usually rave about coffee but it was the strength i like, really strong! All in all this place is very good. Went there last night with three adults and seven kids. The place was packed and the atmosphere was fun. The staff was amazing! Even as busy as it was, they were very attentive and kind and patient. We let all but one kiddo order their own food and almost every order had something special about it. When we got our food, every order was correct. The food was delicious! Yes, you can find a cheaper burger in this town. No, you cannot find a BETTER burger in this town. In fact, I'd say Fiamma Burger is high in the running for best burger in the state. The thing that sets them apart from everybody else is the quality of their ingredients. Everything that goes into their burgers is top shelf: high quality local beef, artisan buns, gourmet house made sauces etc. And the variety can't be beat. We usually get the Elk burger, but they also have salmon, turkey, chicken, pork, lamb. It's a virtual Noah's Ark of delicious burger meats. Another great thing about Fiamma Burger is the ambiance. It's got kind of an art-deco-Ferry-Kalakala meets fine-craftsman-carpentry meets clean-crisp-airy-Scandinavian vibe. I love it. And I love the large communal table in the middle of the place. Bottom line, yeah it's not the cheapest place to grab a bite downtown, but it's hands down one of the tastiest joints around. And it's one of the best VALUES in town, because it's made with premium local/organic/sustainable/artisan good stuff. We usually spend about $22-$25 for two to dine here. The food was decent taste wise for the price of the food. They have a HUGE variety of burgers to choose from! Also a wide variety of dipping sauce at their sauce station. The large fries order was enough for four of us! The staff was very friendly and courteous at our visit. This was my first visit here: I love the location! However, I do feel that the cleanliness of the restaurant could be better. The bathrooms were messy, the floors were dirty and the tables didn't look like they were wiped down very well. I came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I got the Southwest Burger with a Veggie patty and some fries. They have a wide variety of burger and fry options. The place is a order at the counter and they bring the food out you sort of setup, all the food is reasonably priced and the food was out fast but it was not very good, nor was it bad it was just kind of bland. This was one of my favorite spots in Bham! I was excited to try the Fiamma Burger, and disappointed I didn't get to try their pizza! I ordered a regular Fiamma burger with onion rings on it and a side of garlic fries along with a soda. It came out to twelve dollars which I thought was pricey for the portions I was given. The food was yummy but not as outstanding as it should have been for the cost. I did like their menu selection though and the atmosphere of the restaurant was neat. Cool place.
