Can't say enough good things about this restaurant! I was on business in Sheboygan for 2 weeks straight, and my team of 8+ ate at this restaurant everyday we were there, and were usually the first ones in the door when it opened! The food is so incredibly fresh (as the name suggests) and extraordinarily tasty! We were in Wisconsin during January and the only reason I was sad to leave was because of this restaurant. Eating here started my morning of right. The staff was super friendly as well, and since we went there so much they knew all of us by name. I debated between giving three or four stars. Four won out because I enjoyed the food. However the service left something to be desired. I was here for a brunch with a bridal party of 9 and for some reason our servers could not figure out how the checks needed to be split even though we told her multiple times. She was a nice girl but it was a serious hassle. It seemed like she was rushing too much. The food itself was good though. This restaurant is part of Il Ritrovo; it's their breakfast and brunch side. I love the atmosphere, and the food selection was nice. I ordered the vegetarian burger and it didn't disappoint. The addition of the raw juice bar is a nice touch as well; their selection was good and exactly what I would expect. read more

I like this restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and I really like the philosophy of "field to fork" with the locally sourced and fresh ingredients. However, the food is a bit hit-and-miss. It's usually really good, but every once in a while it's not. Last time I was there, for instance, the cheese curds were SO SALTY. That's not usually the case, but it put a damper on my experience. Love the fact this place tries to get local and organic foods. The food was very good as well as the atmosphere. We went for breakfast and had the Tico , Buckwheat pancakes, and the breakfast tacos. The breakfast tacos were excellent and everything else was very good. The reason this place gets four stars and not five is because service was slow and could be improved and the prices even though it is local and organic are still a little high. read more

This place is a gem! Lovely atmosphere, nice variety of breakfast options. My boyfriend had some sort of skillet that involved eggs and homemade polish sausage. It was a lot of food - he is usually a member of the Clean Plate Club and he did not come close to finishing. I had the creme brulee French toast. Also, insanely delicious, but a LOT of food. We were just in Sheboygan for a couple of days, but if we had been there longer I'm sure we would have circled back and come again for breakfast! read more

I stopped here alone for lunch one day. It is a crowded place, even on a weekday around noon. I sat at the counter and service was pretty fast. The food came out and it was only ok, while the price was a bit high (compared to the area) for a sandwich. I understand they are going for local ingredients and such. I don't give many 5 star reviews because I equate 5 stars with perfection. Field to Fork has nailed it! It's clear the chef has put a great deal of thought into each dish - the menu is varied - burgers, salads, soups, breakfast, fresh juices - all focused on local, fresh, homemade ingredients. I had the walnut veggie burger with house made aoli. My husband had the quiche and homemade chili. Even the greens are yummy - they tasted like they had been picked that day. It is always a hit or miss. My sister and I like to eat at organic-y places and this is one we might stop by a few times a year. The food is either amazing, or not very good at all. The only thing that is consistent is the hummus and pita. That is amazing. Sometimes the food is a little too spicy or too bland. It is also a little more classy than usual places I go. Awesome place! We had a large party abd had a reservation, service was great, food was anazinf and coffee was amazing! They have non dairy milk and roasted fair trade coffee to make a great cappuccino. I ordered the bison burger with vegan multigrain bread. Mmm so good. My hubby ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich and cheese curds, he said both were extremely good. I can't eat dairy, otherwise I would've eaten his! :-) yes it's pricey, but the quality is great and you're paying to support local businesses! While staying in a near by area, I searched the web for the best breakfast place in Sheboygan. Field to Fork came up and we decided to try it and all we could say is, "WOW!" What a treat! The breakfast menu contained novel items and a wider range of veggie than any restaurant anywhere in the world. It was difficult to order because each time a waiter walked by with food for another table, I changed my mind. While not one of their healthier items, the deep fried French toast looked terrific and would definitely appeal to kids. Atmosphere is friendly and warm, especially the upstairs dining. Service was prompt, but we arrived before 9am. By the time we left, there was a short wait. However even that is not a problem as the connected speciality market is worth a visit. Can't give high enough praise for this place. I had the oatmeal with bananas, raisins, brown sugar and jam. I don't even remember enjoying oatmeal more! My daughter had the deep-fried French toast and my husband had the breakfast bison tostada special. Both were highly satisfied with their breakfasts.
