After years of going back and forth…read morewith Stoneridge Jeep and Jeep Cares trying to get my Jeep Grand Cherokee dash fixed--and getting absolutely nowhere--I was beyond frustrated and gave up. Jeep Cares knew about the Jeep Delaminating -X81 Warranty but has shown little concern--even after I explained that this is a serious safety issue, as it could prevent the airbags from deploying properly in the event of an accident. Definitely, they don't care and closed my case twice. I even reported it to 7 on Your Side but still nothing. They just referred me to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs. On top of that, I couldn't even find a shop willing to take on the job. Six years later... my driver seat torn so I found Craig's Auto Upholstery to repair the job and that came out awesome. Obviously, they saw my dashboard and advised me that they can also fix it. Craig's Auto Upholstery not only took it on, but absolutely exceeded my expectations. Victor was confident and went above and beyond--the original leather had become so hard and damaged that he had to create his own template from scratch. He carefully matched the vinyl and stitching so it looks just like the original, if not better. The process itself was no small job. An electrician had to remove the entire dashboard and then reconnect everything afterward, and it was all done seamlessly. The quality of the work is incredible--my dash looks amazing, like new again. You can tell they take pride in their craftsmanship and truly know what they're doing. And it only took Victor, Jorge and their Electrician a day and a half to complete the job making it seem like this was an easy project to them! After years of stress over this issue, it feels like such a relief to finally have it fixed the right way. If you've been struggling to find a shop that will actually take on a difficult job and do it right, this is the place. Highly recommend! Thank you Victor and Jorge! I had these custom MCM chairs from the 1950's that I had worked on for quite a while but couldn't do the upholstery myself. It was hard finding a competitive price around the Bay Area but man these guys are an insane deal. All of these chairs were done in real leather from piping to side trims, every chair was consistent and completely redone in only 4 DAYS! I expected a week or maybe 2 at minimum but they really set the standard. If you're hesitant to find someone to do your upholstery, don't be, just go here it's worth it.

I simply want to point out the truth and experience and as a recent reviewer wrote I wonder how he gets excellent reviews when he can improve his business in several ways. Let me start with his attitude. Because English isn't his first language he overcompensates by showing confidence in how he talks and comes off arrogant to a normal person. But of course I am willing to overlook this because all I care about is getting the value and end result of my project. I conclude he only talks the way he does because he wants to show he isn't some minority that is ready to be exploited. Ok so I get that.. And his loud voice is simply because he is hard of hearing. I confirmed that because the guy I asked to drop my items off to him yelled back at him and Enrique said why are you yelling at me, and he said because you raise your voice first. Enrique then said its because he is hard of hearing. Now onto the work. 1) I believe Enrique isn't used to dealing with higher end quality cars. I wanted alcantara material on my headliner that matches what I already have. I brought to him my own true alcantara fabric. He wanted to give me some fake material instead and said mine was not the stretchable kind. So I reorder another set of padded fabric and he still says it's wrong but tried the job anyway. Shown in the pics is his incomplete job and the work another shop finished where Enrique couldn't. 2) he asked for a deposit before the job and as someone indicated only accepts cash. Why ask a deposit when you have all my material and it's you who owes me a job done? You have my material so if I don't pay you I have nothing. 3) fortunately he gave me my deposit back because he couldn't finish and I brought it to another shop that got the job done. I believe he's ok for the basic work, but because he didn't complete it I can't give him an acceptable rating. Instead of giving 1 star I give 2 stars because he gave my money back without too much resistance.

Aby did such a great job the first time, we didn't hesitate for her to do it again. I sent her a few inspiration pictures, and when I went to pick out fabric, she already had narrowed down the samples for us, which streamlined the selection process. A few weeks later Aby let us know our bench was ready. It was exactly what I wanted, and the fabric had the perfect texture and color. I'm sure I could have bought a new bench for the price of the reupholstering, but I don't think I can find one that's custom made exactly as I want.

I had to lower the top to fix a telescoping motor on the steering column. It was down for a couple of days and then raised after I completed the fix. Went back to shop, Byron was out of town and I showed the problem to an assistant, who said he would show to owner when he came back in a week. This car has spent most of the time in my garage and only 5000 miles since 2019. Called Byron today and he was upset from my previous review. I sent several emails to him starting 6 days after I got the car home in 2019. I detailed with pictures the issues I found. At the time Byron responded "no excuses you should not have found the things you did. That's not how we normally let cars leave". My review just detailed the issues I found. Today Byron told me the top was out of 5 year warranty and he would not do the job even if I paid him. He protested that they always did quality work.
