    Fried Shrimp
    Martha J.

Casual seafood restaurant known for its seafood boils. We opted for the Fried Shrimp Po-Boy and Fried Shrimp Basket. Both were very good with just the right amount of seasoning. We were guests at a nearby Hilton properties hotel, and this eatery was within walking distance. I highly recommend it!

Fiery Crab on a Wednesday night in Baton Rouge...

First a disclaimer; the food here has a lot of sodium and spices so caution must guide your consumption if you have certain health conditions that may be affected by spicy and salty foods. I had the crab cakes as an appetizer. They were mildly crabby, a tad bit of sweetness and bold in Cajon flavor once dipped in the spicy sauce provided. They had a firm exterior and soft interior. Overall a good choice for an appetizer. I enjoyed the fried flounder basket and chose sweet potato fries to go with the hush puppies as my sides. The fish was crispy and crunched with every bite with a soft, just done inside. Pretty darn good flavor and even better with hot sauce, spicy sauce or tartar sauce (I used all three plus small dollops of ketchup). I love sweet potato fries and these didn't disappoint me, their sweetness came through as I enjoyed those that were tender without any ketchup or salt. The hush puppies were okay. I expected more but got less in the flavor department. I chose a Modelo to enjoy with the meal and it worked well. Overall, a solid four star experience. The dining area is large enough and I got there an hour before closing. The waitress was a student at Southern and she was very competent, friendly and informative. Maliah (I might be misspelling her name) knew the menu very well and checked back in on us a few times during our meal.

Best music ever, very tasty Cajun mayo and crab salad. Ordered chicken tender basket w/ Cajun fries and sampler basket:4 fried oysters, 4 shrimp n 4 catfish w/cajun fries. Where's the Cajun seasoning or flavor? Fast food restaurant at best. I'm a traveler passing through, definitely don't need to do this again. Oh yeah, the fried calamari-look like onion rings and taste like bad fish sticks. Karmyn decent server $63 w/tip

Get the cajun spicy level. Worth it

Good place to swing by and eat when going though town. Very busy night. Sat at bar and was good quick night foe food and drinks. Crawfish were kind of small but seasoned very well

Of all of the Firey Crab locations I've been to, this one is my favorite! The service is always great. I haven't tried much of their menu because I'm hooked on the Shrimp Special but it never disappoints.

Pros: Catfish, shrimp, pasta, and chicken po-boys were all fantastic. The catfish was seasoned very well and had a great crunch to it. I didn't care for the gumbo at all, something about the flavor was off. Cons: We ordered ahead of time online and the order was still not ready even though we arrived 10 minutes past when it was supposed to be done. Even then when they brought the order, there were items missing. Luckily the food was good enough to push this rating all the way but hopefully their service/organization improves.

Seafood Boil with Snowcrabs, shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn, and a boiled egg

I had this place on a stop through Baton Rouge. I was looking for something good late at night and this seemed like the best place available. It certainly did not disappoint. I had a seafood boil with snow crab claws, sausage, corn, shrimp, potatoes and boiled eggs. I had the Cajun spicy seasoning on my boil and it very good. I loved the heat from my seafood boil. It was very good.

Returned back to this Fiery Crab location with a friend. It didn't disappoint! I got my usual headless shrimp, fiery mix, spicy, with a lobster tail. I ate every bite! The service was great and I didn't feel rushed. I also had two mango margaritas which were good. This experience definitely made up for my previous experience. I love the Fiery Crab. Thanks!

    Fried Catfish Basket

The food was great the shrimp and potatoes and corn were seasoned just right. My flavor was mild with garlic butter sauce. You can choose what kind of flavor you prefer like mild, hot, fiery, or no flavor. The service was fast and the customer service was good.

The food was perfect, the waiter was a bartender named Roy. Roy if you ever read this, thank you for being so attentive to me and my family. He even bagged up my food on a busy night.

Pros: 1) lots of seating 2) decent food Cons: 1) a little pricey 2) some of the food wasn't as well seasoned Rating: 4/5 My friends found out about this place and decided to try it out. I came along for the ride and it was not a bad place to go. I definitely enjoyed my time there. Got a lot of good food for a pretty hefty price. The platter that serves 2-4 people is around 99 bucks without the fries or onion rings, which is a bit pricey for a college student. Most of the food was really good too. The sausage, shrimp, crab legs, and the sauce was really good since they were cooked for awhile in the seasoning. However, the corn, eggs, and potatoes were not cooked jn the seasoning so it was a bit bland. The onion rings weren't bad and the sweet potato fries were decent. Nothing to really write about. The sausage was like a really bomb thing that I got to eat. Other than that, everything else was a bit underwhelming. I think all in all, people should give it a try. I don't have many positive or negative things to say about it but maybe it could be one of your favorites!

Since I stay here yearly for our work Christmas Party, I have become fond of this hotel for several reasons. I don't like that the lounge is closed on weekends, but I do like that status members (platinum and above) get a voucher for a free breakfast. That makes this a great deal for me. At around 30-35 per person, otherwise, it may not be a great deal for you (Louie's isn't that far away). Breakfast here is either buffet style or order off of the menu. The buffet has many different options, including the standards. The eggs are good, the potatoes are very good, and the meats are also very good. There is hot sauce available, and service is always friendly and prompt. Best news? The voucher covers gratuity as well! Note: The bar is also great. There is a solid selection of beer and bourbon.
