I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Fiesta Kia of Albuquerque was so frustrating that I feel obligated to warn others. I walked into the dealership already knowing exactly which vehicle I wanted. I was fully qualified and ready to purchase a brand-new car that day. It should have been one of the easiest sales imaginable, yet over the course of four days I spoke with five different employees--including a manager--and every interaction was disappointing. Instead of the dealership following up with me, I had to call every single day just to get basic information. Communication was poor, no one seemed to know what was going on, and I constantly had to chase people down for updates. After searching for a vehicle myself, I was told the exact car I wanted was on the lot and was encouraged to schedule an appointment for the following day. When I arrived, I was informed the vehicle was actually unavailable. To make matters worse, the salesperson I had the appointment with was "busy." After waiting about 20 minutes to speak with a manager, he simply said he was "at a loss," apologized, and ended the conversation with, "Have a nice day." There was no attempt to find another vehicle, no effort to make things right, and not even a question about how they could earn my business. I've honestly never worked so hard to try to buy a car. It genuinely felt like no one at this dealership wanted to make a sale. Because of the repeated delays, the promotional offer I was planning to use expired before I could complete my purchase. Looking back, I wish I had listened to the numerous Yelp reviews warning about the poor customer service--they were absolutely accurate. 2.4 stars for a reason!!! I went in knowing exactly what vehicle I wanted. From the trim level to the seat colors and everything in between. I was promised exactly what I was looking for by staff. I was given a timeline and told I would be communicated with every step of the way. Mind you, this was after being presented with a ridiculous quote full of "mandatory" markups worth over $10,000 from MSRP because the features were already on the car!!! It got off to a bad start right away. I'd call for updates. Could never get a hold of my salesperson. Location manager tried smoothing things over by continuing to overpromise something they likely had no intention to follow through with. Finally received my VIN number to find out it wasn't anything like I stated I wanted and was told I was getting. 4 weeks after the end of the timeline I was given, finally got a hold of the manager who stated the $1,000 deposit they were so quick to take from me (started at $500 then randomly changed to $1,000 as he was walking away with my payment method) was being refunded. No explanation of what happened which makes me think this happens all the time. Followed up again a few days later as I still had not been refunded to then be told they have to issue a check. Weeks later... still no refund!!! This place is an absolute joke! From sales people to management and everyone in between. They are unethical, they care about the money as everyone is a transaction not a customer. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone unless you want to be taken advantage of and raked over the coals. Want a great dealership and experience? Go to Pitre Kia! Incredibly delightful to work with. Didn't take advantage of me. I only paid MSRP and didn't have any "mandatory" markups thrown at me. PLEASE READ: Will not buy buy another Kia, and certainly will not buy ANYTHING from this place again. Bought a 2025 hybrid with MPG estimates of 39 MPG, yet after break in it never got better than 28 MPG even driving super conservatively (I should of read more about their previous class action lawsuit settlement on fuel efficiency lies). Also shocked that you CAN'T use Android Auto or Apple Carplay without a special cable. Yup, you read that right, no wireless capability here in the year 2025 is mind boggling. Traded it in for a Toyota, and never looking back. Now in regards to the dealership itself, sales folks were decent, but the financial managers pulled all kinds of tricks and confusion on the paperwork & financing, saying one things and entering other things on the paperwork. I caught them twice and had them fix, but still some things slipped past me. Also, under NO circumstances should you purchase a routine maintenance contract (oil changes, etc) with them as it is NOT refundable, unlike extended warranty. They will try and push you for this, tell you it's refundable, but leave out that it's only refundable in the first 10 days after signing. read more

I do not recommend getting service here. They charge excessive fees, about $20 or so, above the actual oil change price. For example, they charge $3 to create a PDF in their own systems for their own use. The "inspection" called for things that had already been completed. They did not even look at what they were recommending, they just said to do it. They also harass you with calls trying to get you to buy a new car after you get service there. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at Fiesta Kia. On Friday, I went in and purchased a used vehicle that was located at one of their partner dealerships. The sales team took me through the entire process of buying this car--loan paperwork, signatures, the works--without ever having the vehicle physically present. Looking back, I should have paused, but the team at Fiesta Kia made it sound like everything was secure and finalized. I trusted them. That trust was misplaced. Today, I was informed--casually, with an "oops" phone call from the salesman--that the car I had "purchased" was sold by the other dealership before it could be shipped to me. No contact from a manager. No real apology. No attempt to make it right beyond offering to let me do the work of finding another car myself, and they'd waive the transfer fee as a "favor." This wasn't just a clerical error--it was a complete failure of communication, accountability, and customer service. It feels like I was tricked into a purchase they couldn't fulfill, and they've done little to nothing to take responsibility. I'm sharing this so others can be cautious. Don't let them run you through the full process unless the car is on-site and confirmed. I wouldn't wish this mess on anyone. read more

I had the best experience at fiesta Kia. After years of driving a Honda, I heard really good things about the Telluride and wanted to check it out. Without a doubt, everyone was fantastic from start to finish. But my salesman, Chris Madigan, really made the whole experience for me. He worked so hard to make sure I got what I needed. Because I had traded in my Honda at the Kia dealership, there was a little bit more paperwork involved, and he really went above and beyond to make sure things went through seamlessly. I would trust him with any of my future car purchases. And I will definitely track him down when my kids get old enough to need a reliable, affordable vehicle. read more

I was referred to Fiesta by the Costco Auto Program and they did not show me the Costco price (as required by the Costco Auto Program) when I arrived at the dealership. Instead they presented a much higher price and I had to negotiate down from there. As a result, the price I got was probably several hundred dollars higher than the Costco price. The most HORRENDOUS customer service I have ever experienced. You can't get through to anyone when you need to get your vehicle serviced, the individuals working in the service department are extremely rude and tell you one thing about how long the service will take, only to have them gaslight you and tell you you're wrong about the amount of time they promised you. Apparently the management has changed so I've given this place another chance but it's still the worst experience ever.single.time. Do not buy from here, do not get serviced here. Very transparent about the disorganization and not knowing what keys go to which car, then trying to sell us a car far beyond the budget we had. We bought a new Forte for cash over a month ago. The salesman offered to deliver the car to home because our experience at the dealership was so unpleasant. We signed the docs, handed over the check (now cashed) and we were told that the docs would arrive in 2 days. Since then it the docs have always been two days away. Visits and calls to the dealership result in "the docs will come in 2 days". They never do. The car is great. The dealership is terrible. read more

During the entire negotiation process from start to finish nether the Care Plan nor the Roadside Assistance Plan and the costs associated with them were discussed to me in detail. The packet that I was given contained only the first page of each plan and I had to request that the missing pages be e-Mailed to me. I am requesting that my monies be refunded back to me for these two plans. read more

I will do everything in my power to avoid returning to Fiesta Kia in Albuquerque. The service was slow, the quality control was shoddy, and the communication was nonexistant. I took my vehicle in for brake repairs on Tuesday, 28 May and was told they needed to order a part, but the work would be completed on Friday, 31 May. I provided my phone number and email address as well as giving them permission to contact me via text message. More than a week passed with no word. On Wednesday, 5 June, three working days after the repair was supposed to be complete, I called Fiesta Kia for an update, but could not reach an employee, so left a voicemail. My call was never returned, so I called again on Thursday, 6 June. An employee told me he would call back in 15 minutes. He did not. Two hours later I called the dealership again, was transferred again to the same employee who again promised to call me back in 15 minutes. He again failed to follow through. On Friday, 7 June I called the dealership again, was transferred to voicemail, and left a message which, again, was never returned. On Monday, 10 June, I called and was told that my vehicle had not yet been diagnosed. Tuesday, 11 June, I called the dealership and escalated the issue to a service manager. The service manager informed me my vehicle would be ready that afternoon or the morning of the 12th at the latest as they wanted to quality check the repair work. I recieved no followup to this, so I waited until 11 AM the on the 12th and left a message for the service manager. The message was never returned. At noon, I called the dealership again and was informed that my car had been ready to pick up all morning. Despite the extra time devoted to quality assurance, an employee found another minor issue with the vehicle while bringing it to reception, necessitating another half hour wait. Happily, I was finally able to recover my vehicle. Given the unbroken succession of incompetence and unfulfilled promises, I will be taking my vehicle to another dealership to check the work. Delays in repair work are understandable. Persistent failures to notify the customer are not. I have always taken my vehicle to Kia dealerships for maintenance. I am willing to pay the premium for dealership service because of the presumption of professionalism and competence. Every other dealership has done an excellent job fulfilling these tenets, and notified me proactively about my vehicle's condition and repair progress. Unfortunately, Fiesta Kia has provided a sad outlier in an otherwise positive Kia dealership experience. So, if you want your vehicle to disappear for two and a half weeks with precisely zero communication from the dealership, feel free to take it to Fiesta Kia. Otherwise, look elsewhere. read more

I will never go back to Fiesta kia on Lomas in Albuquerque. I was quoted $1700 for a break job and was told that my rotors were shot. I got a second opinion from a local mechanic and he did my breaks for $340 and was able to resurface the rotors they were not too bad to resurface as the guy at Kia had told me. Routine service bill was missquoted by over $250!! Verbally and on email it was suppose to be around $300. And that was with the included free oil change. When I paid it was over $500 plus a 3% additional charge for using a credit card. Nickle and diming the customer after completely misrepresenting the cost of service. I will never return here and will tell every person I meet to avoid any Fiesta Dealership if this is how they do business. The labor charge was $440. Even if they only charged me for labor, how did they miss it by this much unless they just want to take advantage of customers? read more

I was not impressed by my first use of Fiesta Kia to service my new Niro PHEV. It was a simple oil & filter change and multipoint check. Quoted $139.95 and estimate 1.5 hours. Ended up costing $171 after added "Shop Supplies", "Env Fee" and "Digital Fee" plus sales tax, all that in addition to the $54.95 in parts (for an oil filter????). Also took almost three hours because "they didn't have the special oil the needed on hand." For a car they sell and supposedly service regularly, and with an appointment made for said car? Terrible after sales service on a 2024 Kia (used). Problems immediately arose after my check was handed over. Tried multiple times to have the problem resolved. Phone calls and emails were Never returned. In person meeting on 3 occassions further led to frustration as action was inmplied but inquiries as to the results were not returned either by phone or email. Was told I would hear from them by noon next day. 6 days later I had to call myself for an update and they STILL hadn't even pulled the car in for a diagnostic. Then they told me that the tech was super backed up and made it seem like I should have know that. Perhaps you should tell your customers a realistic timeline, and/or call them the day before your tech is ready so that you r customers are not out of a vehicle for a week! read more

Making an appointment for service here is a joke. We made an appointment and brought my mom's car in for a recall issue and were told we would have to leave it for 5-6 hours for them to inspect it and then they would order parts and then we would have to bring h it back again for another 5-6 hours for repairs. This is for the service side of Fiesta Kia. I heard some squeeking/whining on the braking for my 2017 Kia Rio. Brought it in and asked the service shop to take a look at the brakes. I was close to positive that I needed new brakes. But they got back to me and told me I still had a ways to go. And I respect that. They could've easily sold me on some brake job I didn't need. I understand if you look past this review because it is a 5 star review. For the most part, I do too, have the same regard for the emotional ups and downs of the extremes of the reading system. Seems as if almost all one or five star reviews are based in almost all emotion, rarely giving you any usable Intel into the real practices of that business, whatever your preferences, are we looking for a dealership, or service center for that matter Well, let me tell you a very brief description of what happened while I was there. Over the course of three days of waiting out basically a chance at getting someone to look at my vehicle., I meant Minnie, friendly faces, and learn quite a bit about the daily routine of this place, trust me, not by choice just because that's where life brought me. The first day I got there late about an hour before they closed. There was a new gentleman working there Anthony I believe very nice gentleman and let me know right away that it was the first day so I should have a little patience. I told him I could do that for him And lo and behold our three day friendship , started out by that gesture of understanding, led to my Kia being fixed at no cost to me. I am a college student that just lost everything because I had two different thefts that happened both on my bday in the same night, and they hurt my story and understood I had no way to survive the temperatures I was dealing with especially when I'm going to be needing to take my mother to two different surgeries is coming two weeks. I'm sure many of the guys chipped in to help there to get my car done even if it was three days in. They did figure out it was the fan and that was what was making it overheat. Sadly, about three days later, my car was T-bones in an intersection and it's headed back to a body shop near them. Horrible service, rude people and unacceptable mechanics!! The "repairing" of my car caused the engine timing to go out of whack. Then they blamed it on me! They then kept my car for 7 months while we were in litigation to get them to replace my engine. It took them 2 of those months just to replace the engine. The service manager is a horrible person who intimidates females to get what he wants. The new general manager offered to "make it right because it was their fault and get me into a new car". They only offered me $6,000 was told it was because the engine wasn't working. I was then told by their top salesman that almost all of the cars in the back lot were waiting on new engines. That says to me that their "mechanics" don't know what they are doing or they are doing it to increase revenue for the dealership. Who knows how many people they are making pay for their "mess ups". 100% WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

Ralph Navarro the guy that drives the blue Kia K5 is a scumbag don't buy from him. I recently went looking to buy a family car such as a stinger or K5. Ralph took it upon himself to give me false hope into telling me my trade is worth a lot and went ahead and got an appraisal done. After manager came back out he told me my Jeep was worth only $1,000 after Ralph told me $5,000 "easy". He lied and gave me false hope thinking i was going to get a lot more than what I was expecting. I really wanted a stinger but after talking to Ralph and seeing he's just in it for the money and does not like helping people. I went down the street to Larry H Miller dodge And found a really helpful salesman who showed me a car 100x better than the stinger a 2021 widebody scat pack charger. The staff was quite lovely, knowledgeable and helpful, and, most importantly there is integrity which carries a substantial amount of weight with me. I think Kia in general has some unique offerings, and you can't beat that warranty. Definitely give this place a visit if you're in the market for a new vehicle, you just may be surprised at what Kia is putting out these days. Ultimately, I wasn't able to drive away with the vehicle that caught my eye if I was to stay within my necessary price point, but this was a great experience. read more

The service department obviously needs training on what effective customer service means. We tried to get a mandatory recall repair fixed by Fiesta KIA and were treated with incompetence, poor and sometimes hostile communications and unacceptable delays. What KIA corporate had estimated would be a two-hour repair at no expense to us, ended up requiring us to repeatedly returning our car to the dealer (four days) and the expense of a rental. When we tried to reach out to upper management with our concerns, we were ignored. We would never recommend Fiesta KIA's service department to anyone. Avoid it. read more

I took my car in for a replacement key fob on a Monday. Eight days later, still no key fob. I understand the Memorial Holiday may have slowed things down; however, why doesn't a repairman call me back? And if he call me, why doesn't he leave a message? This is a fairly long review so please bear with me. I purchased a new vehicle from Fiesta Kia on 10/22/22. On 10/23/22 I emailed the finance manager Marcos for documents that included the purchase price of my vehicle and my loan information as they weren't emailed to me, and I got no response. I received an email from Kia Finance on 10/27 and I noticed the loan was a bit higher than expected. I called the dealership but had to leave a voicemail. On 11/9 I talked to my salesman who said his manager would call me; I never received a call. On 11/14 I reached out to my salesman again and was offered to have my contract emailed to me and a phone call from the manager. I never received the contract but was called by Marcos on 11/15 who went through the sales price with me and told me the extra cost was due to "differences in titling and registration fees" in my home state. He agreed to send me the copy of my purchase agreement the same day or the next but I never received it. On 11/20 I sent another message to my salesperson requesting the GM's phone number as I still had no proof as to what this extra fee was for. I received a call from the GM John Black on 11/21 who said the extra cost was due to a 5 year roadside assistance contract that was evidently sold to me by Marcos (without my knowledge) for $700 and that it was not able to be canceled/there was nothing he could do about it as he had my signature. So, not only did Marcos lie to me about what the price of my car included while on the phone, he was also the same person who snuck the additional $700 on there in the first place. I guess it's not coincidental that he wouldn't send me the purchase agreement. John said Marcos did nothing wrong as his job is to sell products and services and that's what he did. We asked to have Marcos follow up with us to discuss when we agreed to purchase a $700 roadside assistance contract. Marcos called me 11/23and said that he didn't sell me roadside assistance, what he did was "downgrade" my care package to "save me $500" because I didn't need oil changes. What care package? My husband and I made it very clear that we did not want any additional warrantees or services. Marcos claimed that I signed up for a Kia care package when I signed a document agreeing on the price of the vehicle while submitting my down payment. I requested to see that document from him and John on 11/23 via email as well as called them both, but have not received any word back from them. Additionally, I called Kia corporate in the meantime and they told me that 5 years of roadside assistance came free with the purchase of my vehicle. Fiesta Kia sold me (for $700 nonetheless) the exact same service that I am already receiving for free, without telling me. If that isn't payment packing, I don't know what is. I also contacted the contractor who offers the paid roadside assistance and was told that Fiesta Kia has the option to cancel my roadside contract within 90 days and they weren't sure why Fiesta Kia would say otherwise. I was also given an interest rate of 7.5% with a credit score over 850 because I was "from out of state", but that's a story for a different day. These people saw a young woman traveling in from out of state to purchase a new vehicle and took advantage of that fact. I was preyed upon and lied to by both managers. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, I would go the extra distance to find a different dealership with some integrity. If you are a past customer, I would look over your documents carefully (if you even got them) as I wouldn't be surprised if there were extra charges hidden in them. read more

Took my car in for the 15k service and was informed it would be $274 out the door. They also informed it would take 2 hours for the service. 6 hours later I got a phone call, went to pick it up and the cost had increased to $422!! Advised by rep that the filters needed to replaced and that was extra on top, checked the bill and $100 for parts added , $15 supplies charge! No idea what that is & they even filled in my customer satisfaction form for me which was nice of them. Called to discuss the price and was told that's the price. Horrible customer service on a 2021 $51k Telluride. Will be calling Kia corporate to hopefully resolve this issue. Not the best way to keep returning customers ! read more
